Some nights are great some not so .... We have been there before. There is no question that the ambiance is fantastic.
This time, while service was very good, all else didn't quite make it. Forgot our order so we waited very very long - stuff happens. Value is ok.
Delicious food, Great service
This is a really nice space with great ambiance. The food was well prepared and the service was spot on. Bacchus is however not designed for parties of more than four people at any seating. We had six people in our party and while we were able to combine tables together, it was awkward. So if you are a couple or a group of three/four this is the right place for you in Brooklyn.
Such a pleasant space. They don’t rush you away from your table. Amazing place to spend time with people. Great food. Amazing ambience.
Our waiter was very good. He was super busy but took the time to offer us tastes of wine before we selected our bottles . We sat outdoors and it was quite pleasant. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We had been in Manhattan for a few days and we all agreed the food was just as good if not better.
Authentic French bistro. Duck rillette was outstanding. Hanger streak tender & tasty. Nice chocolate dessert. Interesting wines and good value
10/10 experience, food incredible - bit gutted they didn’t have the lobster ravioli but our lovely waiter offered an spinach alternative that ended up being the star dish of the night. Staff is just so sweet and nice, great wine recommendations too. Will come back for sure
Burrata and creamed spinach were outstanding. Ribeye steak was very good, the sides were excellent (sauteed mushrooms and roasted potatoes). Very friendly staff. Love the courtyard and lighting! Staff accomodated our request for a 4-top even thought there was only 2 of us. A 2-top would have been too small so our experience was made much better by a larger table.
Love this place so much
Good experience. Good food. Excellent service.
Food was fabulous! Perfect portions, ambiance very cozy the only 8/10 was the crembrulee everything else 10/10.
My wife wants to go back before we leave NYC.
We needed to accommodate a large group so we made reservations. Food was great and the server was doing the best she could and was very upbeat and pleasant. That being said it was a very leisurely dinner because maybe they are short staffed like everyone else. Worked out for us!
Outstanding service, amazing food and a great selection of wines. Our server was very tentative— exceeding our expectations. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.
The food was good. The service was slow and they messed up my order and didn't apologize or address it.
We loved everything about this place. We were in Brooklyn for a family event. The service was warm, friendly, and fast. The food was amazing. Delicious and fresh. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the snails were tasty. No complaints.
Great food, terrible service. We had a reservation for 8.15 and they left us standing waiting and hungry for 25 minutes before they let us sit.
Delicious as always with exception of bread basket and lack of setups. 3 not-so-fresh rolls. Not quantity or price that was disappointing but quality. Hangar Steak to die for!
Urban backyard setting. Adjacent wedding venue with similar urban backyard setting. You were forced to attend the wedding via the band and attending announcements. . Service was decent. Ribeye, French Onion Soup were excellent. Escargot was decent. The burger was disappointing in that it fell apart and the cheese was not melted Basically just an urban cram it all in space with ok food
This is a multi purpose restaurant. Great device and food, wine and cocktail quality.
Our server was absolutely incredible! We had a beautiful table overlooking the back garden and ate some lovely dishes.
Our favorite neighborhood French bistro.
Food is fresh and tasty. This restaurant is consistently good--we are repeat customers. I have tried various menu items including appetizers and main courses and have not had a complaint with any.
Amazing food and service
Excellent, consistent Bistro with a fabulous atmosphere. Bruno, Alvaro, Merill and team really are all about quality and service. The new indoor dining area at the back is a special place, try to reserve
Always outstanding and always at the top of my list.
Outstanding Food. Ribeye is amazing! Onion Soup is delicious!
Lovely spot, very good food and service, reasonably priced. Nice wines by the glass.
Fantastiv experience, as always!
Incredible food and service.
Good time, simple spot, good for a date
We went to check it out bc I heard they can host a wedding . It’s beautiful . Cozy and romantic
Great restaurant with lots of outdoor seating. Food was fabulous.
I ordered the steak medium rare but it was so tough and a lot of fibrous if it makes sense. I don’t know if I would order that again. My date ordered the veggie pasta which was however delicious.
Nice ambiance, but the entres were overpriced for being so subpar, particularly the lobster pasta.
Restaurant seemed understaffed so not enough attention was given to our table and needs. French onion soup and créme brûlée we’re yummy though!
Not what it was unfortunately. Bread is $4 and it’s worse than the bread you are served on US airlines. Food came out after sitting on the plate clearly.
Great experience except I miss their baguettes. They only serve rolls, that don’t cut it with mussels.
I love this place. If you want a quick meal, this isn’t for you. The wait staff tends to leave you alone and it takes a minute to get food but that just leaves more time to enjoy your friends and your meal. The wine is very reasonably priced for New York and the food is fantastic. They used to have a lamb special, I’m still holding out hope they’ll bring it back. This place is vastly under appreciated.
The dining experience was overall very good. The only compliant I have is it's menu online on it's website was not the same menu they had at the restaurant. If they were going to have that discrepancy, it should at the very least me noted on it's website that the menu is not up to date.
Food was delicious! Service was awesome!
Staff was helpful and attentive. The food was well prepared: perfectly grilled octopus, parpadelle al dente, perhaps a little skimpy on the lobster...Delicious fondant, Ttin lacking in caramel. The hanger steak was cooked to my specs.
The menu is typical bistro, could be be more imaginative (except the octopus!)
Wine selection was amazing, although pricey, but we got a good bottle.
