Always our go-to for great Italian food. We've been coming for decades and always bring out of town guests here to showcase the quality of dining outside the trendy spots.
Great food and friendly service!
We have always love Bacchanalia, being Valentines Day it was a bit busy and noisy but the staff goes above and beyond! Food is delicious!
We love Bacchanalia. Always go there when I go to meet in the city. Veal Saltimbocca off the menu is what we order normally. Its like eating with Don Corleone. Often see families, cops, couples and sometimes maybe a Don!! Great traditional Italian with big portions and mom's house ambiance.
My husband and I met friends here for dinner. Service was fair and the food was just OK. There are other neighborhood gems I'd go to first before returning to Bacchanalia. Although, I will say, I'd return just for the canolli's which were out of this world!
This is "old school" friends, family and food! By far one of my favorites to sit down to a family meal.
The food is always delicious the service is great reasonable prices my absolute favorite authentic Italian spot I recommend the shrimp Vesuvius it is delicious.
Had a fantastic dinner before the Blackhawks Game. Arrived a bit early and had a couple drinks at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and easy to talk to. The food was GREAT as usual. I usually come for lunch with a couple of my buds, my Wife hadn't been here before and was blown away at how delicious the food and service was. Nobody has better Linguine and Claims than Bacchanalia! What a Gem!!
We've been to Bacchanalia's many times before over the years! Food is delicious real deal Italian! Our waitress was Maria! Very nice, appropriately attentive, pleasant, and helpful! Last Saturday our dining experience was enjoyable!😀
This place is always great. Old school at its finest. Great service, even better food
My daughters and I visit Chicago every year and this is the 3rd straight trip to Bacchanalia. They were asking ahead of the trip if we were going back. It's about 25 mins south of downtown and well worth the drive for authentic neighborhood Italian at very reasonable prices. Lasagna was delicious. I've had Chicken Vesuvio and linguini with clam sauce there before and they're all amazing. Place is small so nailing down a reservation via Open Table is easy and highly recommended. Love this place!
Been going to Bacchanalia for 29 years. Love the food and the owners.
Food was fantastic. Service was fantastic. Great value. We will be back!
I've been coming here for years and although it had been some time since my last visit I was to learn they had changed cooks, food wasnt the same and increased pricing for alcoholic beverages to a ridiculous unwarrented amount! Not the same great place it used to be. Sad to see such a great place change in the wrong direction. I NO LONGER recommend this place. So sad.
Hadn't been to Bacchanalias in years. I had the veal Parmesan and my friend had the lasagna. Neither one of us really enjoyed our meals. Her lasagna looked like a mess on the plate. My veal was ok with bolognese sauce that was too salty and slightly tart. I have had better.
Pretty blah Italian restaurant. No specials. Routine calamari. Routine bruschetta.
Tables pushed together were unmatched and awkward for our party of 6. Routine chicken Marsala. Routine everything. Good, but not special.
Awesome as usual brought my brother and his wife for the first time I don't think they will ever eat on the north side again they loved it.
We absolutely love this place!! We make a point to take family and out-of-town guests!
It would have been five stars all around but one of the dishes (Chicken Parm) was lacking in flavor. The meat sauce was fantastic!
Date night with my husband. Meal was quite tasty, HUGE portions! Service was extremely attentive. We each saved room for...and ordered...dessert. My husband was trying to choose between his "usual" favorite, tiramisu, and something he had never tried before. He decided to experiment and try something different. The waitress brought him a slice of tiramisu, too!
