Our team provides warm hospitality in our comfortable, intimate dining room marked by our wine bottle ceiling and chalkboard menus.
We welcome but do not require reservations — we love to accommodate walk-ins and large parties. Bacari PDR is the go-to spot for our neighbors, and we look forward to hosting you soon!
This was my first time and it was great. Food was delicious, ambience great and our waitress was excellent. Promo, friendly and a great smile.
Great place. Awesome little corner perch. Lots of charm and character. The menu is dynamic and caters to all the needs. Everything is flavorful, fresh. Tapas style so be ready to share with your party. Drink and wine menu are also on point. Great for a quick bite or for a smooth date night.
I find that the food and service at Bacari PDR are very consistent and that is why I never hesitate to go back.
I keep going back to Bacari. The food is amazing. There are so many small dishes that you get to try something new each time. Our table wasn't ready (we made a reservation) but we sat on the patio and had a drink while we waited. The service tends to be a little slammed when it is crowded but Bacari offered a free drink for the inconvenience. We weren't in a hurry so it didn't matter. The noise level can get loud if there are larger groups but it goes with the vibe of the place. Close to the airport so a great pre or post-trip meal. We just happen to live close so it has become a regular spot for us.
We were in town from Iowa for vacation and spotted this little gem on Open Table. The 90 min special of bottomless wine is just what we needed after a week at Disney and legoland with the family. The food was outstanding and our server was amazing. We hope to get back there sometime sans kids.
Food and wine were great, service was a little too slow this time. Still love the place!
Wow! What a great place. I loved the variety, the vibe, the location, and especially the food. They were very accommodating and creative in putting together exactly what I wanted, even though it wasn't "exactly" on the menu the way I asked for it. My server couldn't have been better. I'll be going back on my next trip to LA!
Great Restaurant! Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food!
Favorite restaurant in LA
Good vibes and awesome 90 minute sangria open bar!
Delicious food, wonderful wait staff, lovely ambiance
Very difficult to park near location
Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience at Bacari PDR. The food came out in a disjointed manner that evening with as much as 20 minutes between dishes. Dinner for two lasted close to 3 hours due to our server's poor management of the timing of our dishes. The food was great but we would have liked to eat our Bacari fries with our Bacari burger and not 45 minutes apart.
Good times, good food, good service!
I came here for DineLa it is really good. A friend and I shared a few dishes. Everything was flavorful and delish. It's a great location and the food was on point. I would like to go back for brunch I hear it's a great brunch spot. It is crowded and the service seemed a bit harried.
Went for DineLA and the service was horrible. We arrived at 5:30p and by 6:50p, two of us still had not received our meal. The other person had to eat their’s alone (awkward)! I’ve liked this place in the past but tonight was an exception. Bad service.
The food is always amazing. Perfect portions for sharing. Taylor our server was great. Great atmosphere. Been 5 times and the menu is so big you never duplicate.
We went for Dine LA It was excellent. The staff was as nice and helpful as can be. The food was excellent. I will return!
We had already ordered the bread pudding on the DineLA menu at the beginning of our meal. When it was time for dessert, waitress notified us that the restaurant ran out of bread pudding. Disappointing that it was not organized enough to be saved for us but perhaps understandable (not sure of the circumstances). However, she then offered another option that was not viable for me (food sensitivity to dried fruit so a cake made of dates would not work). I didn’t love the malabi the last time I was there. The server wasn’t accommodating, offering nothing else, so the experience sadly ended in disappointment.
We went there on a Saturday for brunch and it was way too loud! Even if they turned off the blaring music we probably still wouldn't have been able to hear each other talk. We were in the main room near the bar and as we left we noticed that the patio room next to the front door was much quieter-----request that are if you dine there. Also, barely any parking so we had to park up the steep hill then walk down. Also, our party all ordered food at the same time then random plates started showing up one or 2 at a time. When most of us finally had our food (it took awhile), one at the table still didn't get their food and then most of us were done eating when she FINALLY got her food----only good thing about that is that they took it off the bill. Overall, not a good enough experience to go back. Only shining star was our fabulous waiter!
Service of the food was off. We both ordered entrees yet I got my food 10-15 minutes earlier and my friend had to wait. The food was excellent and I would still recommend Bacari to friends.
Everything was perfect EXCEPT they charge you for a KITCHEN TIP??? What? That’s ridiculous. They need to pay their kitchen people better rather than forcing the customer to tip. Then you gotta tip the waiter. That’s insane !!!
Food was delicious! everyone was wonderful! Jeremy & Cody were great.
First Visit. Will Return
It was outstanding! We really enjoyed all the dishes.bThe bread pudding is 😋.
Great menu and quick service
Delicious food, friendly staff, highly recommend! We took advantage of their dine LA menu which allowed us to try multiple items - their bread pudding was so yummy!
Interesting menu and ambience, we sat outside on the patio.
Service was good along with the food. We will definitely go back there again.
The waitress forgot to put our order and we waited for our food for 45 minutes before she noticed.
Great brunch, fun to go with a group and try all the different things they have. We didn't have a bad plate and we ordered one of almost each of them! Great bottomless option.
Service was very slow even though many empty tables. Food was mediocre ..brussels sprouts, eggplant was overly charred. Wondering if there is a new management team in there?
Great small plates , interesting selections. The patio tables are very small and close together. If you plan on eating more than a few plates, best to be inside. The 90 min wine pours are fun for a group.
amazing food and ambience. I originally commented on some poor service. The manager responded the next day and did everything they could to apologize and rectify. It is so refreshing to find a company that cares and focusses on the customer. So I can now do nothing except recommend this place to everyone. So so impressed
Mostly loved our waitress Liz who is charming and super friendly, food was delicious of course!
Food is always good. The tapas style plates new. You get to try many different things. The place tends to be noisy on a busy night and the service can be a little spotty when its crowded- but definitely recommend it!
Good assortment of small plates. Mostly hits, some misses. One of the misses was a goat cheese brûlée that was listed under hot dishes. It was completely cold. The waiter told us that the brûlée crust made it a hot dish. Say what? A creme brûlée is also torched but would never call that a hot dish. The Goat cheese brûlée would have had flavor had it been warm. It was cold and tasteless. Pasta should also be served hot not lukewarm to room temperature. I guess a Saturday that was understaffed had problems getting dishes out of the kitchen on time. The cauliflower and Brussels sprouts were great and so was the salmon that was moist and still hot when it got to our table.
Beautiful restaurant with great service. It is a large open room and was a bit noisy. Not noisy enough to keep us from going again.
This is our sixth time at Bacari this year. We brought our friend Candace this time to celebrate her birthday since she has never been before. Of course we got the normal staples that we always order; pork belly, salmon, scallops, chopped salad and we tried the eggplant stuffed with the lamb since they have apparently remove the delicious open face lamb burger. Candace loved everything we had. We ordered things multiple times and Shannon is in love with their rosewater lemonade. We sat on the patio this time since it’s quieter out there than inside.
This is such a great neighborhood gem and I’m so excited that they have multiple locations on 3rd as well as one over by USC. They also have movie nights this summer on 3rd so make sure you sign up/pre-pay for their movie/dinner nights.
I plan on bringing our church is first lady for her birthday later on this month in July. In fact let me call her and see what her availability is, that way me, Shannon, Candace, and birthday girl Nikki can experience Bacari
The bar makes excellent drinks and the staff works effortlessly together. Just put your dirty plates on the end of the table once you’re done with them and somebody will come by and clear them out-of-the-way for you.
Since we sat on the patio we noticed the cars that parked on the opposite side of street, all four had parking tickets. Yes parking enforcement happens at night So please don’t ruin your night by parking across the street where it CLEARLY says no parking and coming out to see a ticket after having a fabulous dinner/lunch at Bacari
Next time I’ll be sure to take pictures at Bacari and upload them
A lovely evening with incredible service! ♥️
