Always an enjoyable meal at Bacari. As an added treat they also serve very tasty Japanese rolls and sushi. Service always good and you can hear yourself and other members of your party speak! Tables are well positioned to give you maximum privacy. Look forward to returning again and again.

We had a 5:00 reservation, which was great, because it was quiet and the staff was very attentive. I chose the trout special with wild rice and a delicious cabbage. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. My husband had the crab cakes and meatballs which he enjoyed. We shared a delicious caesar's salad. I thought it was a bit pricey, but everything was delicious.

Let me start off saying that the food is delicious. For appetizers we ended up having the Burrata, maki rolls and Brie cheese. Away everything go serve just made it look even more appetizing. For the main course we ended up getting scallops which melted the moment we took a bite out off it! That’s where we ended up having to Apple crumb cake which was also very good. The service was also phenomenal! Our server Jason made sure he took care of us and made sure we enjoyed the meal. This is the place that we will be coming back to and will make sure to request Jason to be our server as well even though everyone from the staff that came by was very pleasant!

The halibut cheeks, which was a special and not inexpensive was disappointing. It arrived with a nice presentation but was overcooked and dry with little flavor. I suggested this location and was sorry that it wasn't a more favorable experience for my friend who hadn't been there before. Her bay scallops and spaghetti was mediocre and she brought most of it home for her husband. Not because of a oversized portion, that was not the case but because the dish was disappointing in taste.

We had a late lunch and were probably in between there lunc/ dinner but they sat us and the service was excellent .. lunch menu and price were excellent. Although we are not far we forget to include Bacari Grill on our list of " go to " restaurants in our area but this experience has changed that for sure !! We will be back.

Lunch was good. Chicken Parm and some penne with a little desert and a salad. Happy with the service. The place fills up for lunch quickly. I just wish they would give the dining room an overhaul. Some paint would be nice.

I had not been to the Bacardi Grill in years so we decided to give it a try. Like most of us, it has aged, but unlike most of us, it has not aged well. It was very tired and worn inside with the most disgusting, dirtiest ceiling I have ever seen. That really skeeved me out but that was only the start. My daughter, a teenager, and I, in a half empty restaurant, were shown to the worst table in the restaurant, all the way in a little alcove by itself on top of the emergency exit door. I politely asked for another table and we were shown to a tiny 2 top next to a dirty, food encrusted wall. We should have gotten up and walked out right then and there but we stayed and ordered dinner. I wish I could say things got better but they didn't. We started with an order of fried calamari that was billed as spicy, tossed in a garlic butter with banana peppers. The calamari was fairly bland and not crispy at all. It had some sliced peppers thrown on it but I did not taste the garlic butter. For an entree, my daughter ordered the pasta Bolognese. When I asked her how it was, she made a face and I asked her how it compared to her favorite, the Bolognese from BV Tuscany in Teaneck and she said, 'not even close.' Needless to say she left most of it. I ordered a special of trout on a bed of spinach and wild rice with apples and walnuts. I really wanted to like the dish because the flavors really worked but the trout was so overcooked it was like eating sawdust. I left about a half of it because there wasn't enough water on the table to get it down. Of course after that, we were not sticking around for dessert nor will we be returning. I can't understand the decent reviews that this restaurant gets. Are people so used to mediocracy that they don't know or appreciate lousy, overpriced food in a worn, dirty setting?
