Congratulations on the retirement of Chef Marla. We are really going to miss this place and are grateful that we managed to snag a last minute opening to be there at the end. Boy am I going to miss this amazing place ! The food is alway delicious. I’m going to miss waiting for the menu to change with the seasons . Love that corn chowder! Nothing beats veal piccata. We were so happy to be able to say goodbye yesterday evening to our favorite restaurant before it closes. Marla, thank you for many years of wonderful celebrations, from the years when you were at the corner of N. Highland and Colquitt to our delightful meal last night. We'll miss your wonderful menu and your special spirit, but here's to travel, gardening, time with family, and a bit of relaxation too!

The whole experience was perfect... I will miss this lovely place once its gone. The bread is fresh and always served hot. The soups can't go unnoticed since its so good!! I only wish they would stay around longer and I am sorry I didn't go more often than I have in the last 6 months!!

So glad we were able to get a reservation during the last few weeks of this stellar restaurant's being open. We have been customers since the beginning and could not have found better more consistent food anywhere for the last 30 years. The service has always been top notch, you really are made to feel at home every time you go. I have been a fan of their Alaskan Halibut which I had again last evening. We wish Marla a great retirement and this great restaurant will be missed!

Our best friends from California were in town. We wanted to show them an evening of class and grace so we chose Babette’s. It provided both with a tasty menu. We’re sorry to be losing one of our favorite places but thankful for the experience. Best wishes to everyone at Babette’s.

I ate at Babette's waaay back when it first opened. Have been wanting to go back for years, but moved out of the neighborhood. When I heard she was closing after 30 years, I made it a point to go back. We really enjoyed our evening and dinner. It was late, so I brought most of mine home, but we made sure to get dessert!

I treated my friends who drove 90 miles to their first (and last) experience at Babette’s. We had a fine time. Babette’s will close on Mother’s Day and Marla will retire the name of her restaurant forever. 😥

We have been eating at Babette’s for 25 years and it has remained our favorite restaurant in Atlanta during this time. We have learned they will be closing in May after 32 years and while we wish Marla well in retirement, we will miss the great food, warm and professional service, and great ambience there. All our best to the staff.
