I dream about their coddled eggs! Excellent coffee wraps up a wonderful brunch.
Excellent food. It was a very busy day so I almost want to give them some leeway, but the service was bad. We were a group of five. Had to remind the waitress several times for drinks we ordered, one of our dishes almost never came out. Lots of avoided eye contact. I basically had to wave my hands and call people over to refill our water glasses, take our orders, etc.
I won't hold this against them but note they don't have good gluten-free options.
Great brunch spot, delicious duck confit sandwich...I’m talking one of the best shredded duck and bread that’s crispy yet becomes softer from the runny egg combinations I’ve had. But the biggest reason I’m writing the review is for Renada? the lovely hostess. She made us feel very welcome and like family with our stroller. She Coo’d at our baby when waiting for our table to be set up, stowed our stroller, went back and grabbed our car seat, and got our drinks when the server was backed up and busy. She really
Made the experience extra special, and I am writing this review 60% because of her, 40% because of that delicious sandwich.
First time here for brunch. I had the mushroom toast with poached egg. It was delicious. The Frenchie Toast waffle Suzzete was only so so. It was a little dry and didn't have enough toppings or sauce for me. Next time, I'll try another type. The service was lackluster. The waitress took too long to come to our table after first seating and brought me milk for coffee when I clearly asked for cream. I asked for extra Grand Marnier sauce and never got it. The place is small, but doesn't fill cramped. Overall, I would say the food was good and worth going back for that reason.
Perfect spot for Sunday brunch. The Irish coffee was amazing as were the waffles!
B Too is certainly a premier locale to enjoy a brunch at! I love the place
Food was very very sweet and went for restaurant week lunch but it was not served on weekend and we were not aware of it
Booked a table for 3, but one of my friends did not show up. Apparently that was enough to ask us to transfer to a smaller table. We thought it was very rude to be asked to transfer when one of us already had a meal in progress. Yes, a table for 4 is big for 2 and does not maximize restaurant profits. But we booked ahead, had unforseen cancellation, and had a meal already in progress. It was poor taste. I bring friends to this place all the time, but hey there are other belgian restaurants in the area who deserve our business better and would not give their customers such bs.
Great food and creative cocktails. Definitely recommend it!
We had a great culinary experience and enjoyed watching the chefs and talking with the manager. Everyone was knowledgeable and pleasant. Overall a great experience. Thank you.
Went for restaurant week lunch. They had nice options from which to select. I had the steamed buns, the creamed chicken stew & tiramisu. Everything was excellent. Foods were good portions and very flavorful
The Restaurant Week menu was a bargain -- duck, duck, and more duck, all delicious. That value won't be available all the time, but we'd expect the exceptionally fine service to continue.
Great service and a wonderful menu for restaurant week!
This is a staple in the neighborhood now because it’s always welcoming amazing food great service
Our waitress was not very helpful. We were the first ones arriving for lunch, the place was empty, and she told me she couldn't get me waffles because those were made only for breakfast. I asked to please check with the chef because the only reason I went there was because I wanted waffles for my birthday and she responded NO because the breakfast ingredients were not the same as the lunch, whatever that meant. I stood up and asked the chef about the waffles and we was very polite and nice and without me asking he offered to make them for me. A simple favor to make the client happy doesn't hurt anyone! THANK YOU CHEF!
Everthing was delightful...as usual. I love the interesting menu and superior food. Service was right on target.
A delightfully delicious meal, vibrant vibes and dedicated team (Sunday Brunch). Thank you B Too.
Absolutely great service, Vicky took a lot of time to look after us and we were very happy with the dishes she recommended. The rabbit stew was delicious and so were the steak tartar and the lobster. Would definitely go again!
Food was amazing.
Great food, beautiful restaurant, great service. Huge pork chop - really loved the smoky taste. The apple waffle dessert was amazing.
We had brunch with our close friends visiting from Richmond. We sat at cute and comfy booth with matching couches. We shared a round of bellinis and bloody Mary’s before our delicious main courses arrived. They were everything I had described to our friends........unusual, very tasty and very memorable. The service was excellent. We will be back!
Creative food, delicious experience! A magnificent experience, for both value and taste.
The muscles were fantastic, best either of us have had in a long time. The salt levels in our entrees was too high. We both determined we’d return for the muscles for sure, but likely just order two pots and stick with those rather than venture into the entrees again.
We sat in the cozy bar area and Ricardo, the bartender, was our server. He was an absolute delight. Great menu and cocktails. I had the steak frites and my husband had the rabbit stew. Both dishes were robust with flavor and fresh ingredients. Don't pass on either the waffle appetizers or waffle desserts - just fantastic. There are a lot of choices along 14th street, but great, friendly, genuine service and truly excellent food is a rare combination.
Terrific service and excellent presentation of very creative dishes. For all the visual excellence, flavors were a bit mild (I had salmon and soup).
Superb service and scrumptious eats!
There for brunch, food was fantastic. Will definitely be back.
My mussels were yummy as well as my cocktail. The waitress was attentive (maybe a little over attentive). My only complaint was I told the waitress that I couldn’t have onions and garlic. My dish had a ton of onions mixed in although that wasn’t on the menu and the extra step of telling the server didn’t seem to make a difference. Otherwise the place is adorable and I would go back.
The food was not very tasty. I ordered mussels, and they were fine, but nothing special. I was not given a seafood fork, which would have made it a lot easier to get my mussels. Instead, the really deep bowl and huge fork made it a little too much work to eat my food.
Always an enjoyable experience-
Spectacular service and food!
Food was good not great but loved the ambiance and setting of the restaurant!!! Drinks and dessert was the best
Great brunch! Food was great and they were able to accommodate our large party
Perfect dining in a very good atmosphere and excellent service.
I love the mussels and get them (almost) every time. The cocktails were good too
Breakfast is always delicious!!! Great service and food!
Fantastic service— everyone went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Food was great and well presented. Loved the Brussels sprouts and mussels.
Lovely and cozy atmosphere. How to come back again.
Went with a party of 10. The food was good, with the typically Belgian mussels flavorful and plentiful. The ''small' pre salad was actually large and well prepared. Overall, a good experience. Of note, they were happy to split the check in a weird way (not into 10 parts, because 4 of the attendees were couples, who paid together).
Food was delicious and the beer selection is outstanding.
