Our neighborhood and special occasion favorite never disappoints.
Nice hidden gem, great ambience. Easy to get a reservation for brunch time and the food was great! The green mcwaffle was so good. Service was a little slow but they were all so nice and helpful.
This place is the worst - food is super mediocre at best and not filling and, despite which, so expensive, even by DC standards. Have been here a few times and every time I ask myself why I'm there. Ambience is nice....
Great as always! We always bring out of town guests here and once again it did not disappoint.
Wait staff continue to disappoint and don’t listen to specific details of customer orders.
A tremendous meal, the menu was very well designed with a lot of interesting looking dishes. Service was outstanding and made a special occasion very special indeed. They were great with the children and I especially enjoyed the selection of Belgian beers. One of the best restaurants I've been in the US. Contemporary European cuisine delivered in a modern but welcoming atmosphere
Service was fast.
Food was good.
Ambience was really cool.
My husband and I went to B Too on a Saturday morning around 11am. We had our ESA (emotional suppport animal) with us - as we take him everywhere, and they had great accommodations for us to ensure we were ALL comfortable.
The food was delicious!! We started with two Mexican lattes and got a doffle sandwich as well as the brûléed waffle, both of which I would highly recommend. My husband and I shared the meals and discussed adding another “Entreé”. The server must have overheard us talking as he walked by, because he stopped by the table asking if we wanted to add another dish (which we did) and it was out in under 5 minutes!
The entire experience was impeccable and I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone that enjoys trying new things!
We enjoyed our dinner at B-Too. Service was great. Food was excellent and they have a great Belgian beer selection.
Always a pleasure eating at our favorite neighborhood restaurant!!!!
Fantastic. Truly enjoyed the beer selection, the high quality fare and the Old World ambiance. Will be eating here again and highly recommend.
By far and away best mussels in DC. Service was very attentive and prompt. Best restaurant in neighborhood.
The waffles are great and the drinks are interesting but definitely good and worth a try. I recommend getting a drink at the bar before your table is ready since there isn't much room to wait elsewhere
Very yummy food but the portions were very small and overpriced for the amount. Service was terrible. Not once did someone fill up our water and took forever to get the check.
Excellent service and the food was good, although my scallops weren’t cooked well.
Our group thoroughly enjoyed our brunch at B Too! The food was fantastic and the wait staff was very attentive. Would definitely recommend!
This is one of my favorite places to eat in DC. The beers are amazing, there's something for everyone to eat here (savory and sweet options) and the staff is lovely. Their croissants are seriously amazing and if I had no self control that's all I'd eat; just a big plate of croissants and a beer.
Food was very refined and delicious.
I like the noise level at this restaurant. Even when it's crowded, it never seems very noisy.
Thought I was back in Belgium. Food awesome. Chris and Fabian wonderful to us. Definitely return for us. Fits great with an event at the Studio theater.
I love B-Too... Food every bit as good as Le Diplomat but no attitude other than hospitality and graciousness. Great if you like mussels. Best onion soup I've ever had.
Great food and variety for brunch. Staff is friendly and good service.
We were at the restaurant before the theatre and the service was wonderful. The scallops were fabulous. Two people in our party got the mussels and enjoyed them.
Service was great. Ambiance was so so. The open kitchen detracts . Recipes were authentic Belgian but taste was only so so. Great selection of beers.
Great food, great service, and great atmosphere!
Our meal (Mussels Mariniere and the rabbit stew, roasted brussels sprouts) were spectacular. We were on a fairly tight schedule and we were served our food very quickly. Everyone was very professional. The ambiance is lovely and the noise level was great -- quiet enough to be able to easily hear my dinner companion from across the table. I'll go back!
B Too, what has happened to you? This used to be one of our go-to restaurants, especially for pre-theatre meals. This time, no. The menu has changed, which on its surface is okay - most of the new dishes looked pretty good. But they were mediocre at best. For instance, the (three) scallops themselves were good, I think, but it was hard to tell due to the cloying sauce. They came with very attractive and vastly overcooked mushy carrots. I'm not sure what was going on with dessert - we got an apple waffle thing which included the most tasteless and mushiest waffle we'd ever had, with some uncertain-taste topping (except for the apples themselves, which were okay) - luckily, the serving included only two small slices of waffle. On the plus side, the drinks were excellent. We might give this place one more try just in case this re-created version of B Too was just having a very bad night, but if we have an experience like this again, it's off our list.
Great Brunch. A bit pricey but all the dishes were elegantly plated, decadent and delicious, and the service was suburb.
Hands down, my favorite restaurant in DC. The best wine list, chef driven seasonal menu, everything is always incredibly fresh and seasonal. The staff is amazing. Eat everything with reckless abandon.
Great place to enjoy the night with friends. The only downside is the price is a bit higher than the dishes worth. That pig ear dish looks good, but the taste wasn't that great ...
Food is excellent! Service is impeccable! Atmosphere is awesome!
Great food and fantastic service. Enjoyable meal. Kids loved it too—steak, rabbit, mussels, waffle desserts. Can’t wait to return.
Food was great and service was also good. We had no idea they had downstairs dining area which was really nice and rather quiet for a Friday night in a good way.
High quality bartender and mixologist.
High quality food.
Low key Authentic atmosphere.
Will be returning often
Always count on a great meal and service! Best to make a reservation first.
I love B Too for a classic Belgian meal (complete with fantastic options for Belgian beer) in a buzzy setting. We chose to get seated a little earlier and eat at the bar, and the service was fantastic. We got curry mussels and the short rib stew. Splurge for dessert, they are always a work of art!
Absolutely phenomenal food, presented beautifully.
This restaurant is expensive. I paid too much for just a waffle, a toast with avocado and smoked salmon and a mimosa. I won' t return. The food was disappointing. The hostess was unfriendly but the waiter was fine.
A terrific blend of American and Belgian food. We were a group of seven to include kids (8-16). From arrival through departure the service was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We had a good mix of the dishes from appetizers, steak, to salmon, scallops, and vegetarian (truffle stuffed agnolotti pasta). All were fresh, all had good flavor, and were an adequate amount of food without overwhelming the plate. The tomato soup with cheese waffle is a great way to start the menu and the Belgian Waffle was the best way to end. Strongly recommend.
The food was good. We had the B Too Mussels and then I had the beet salad. The salad had a beautiful presentation and it also tasted good. I wil l recommend to others and will go again.
Sunday brunch was very busy and energetic. It's a cozy space with an open kitchen. Go if you're feeling upbeat and ok with sitting close to strangers.
Food was delicious but some portions were very small. Ask clarifying questions. Brunch menu includes a great balance of savory and sweet. I can't wait to go back and try more!
