B. Christopher's- Greensboro
Thanks for coming over for dinner. Enjoy the freshness at The Great American Steakhouse, B. Christopher’s.
Everything was wonderful! We enjoy each time we come ❤️
The steak was cooked to perfection, that part was the best. They do have complimentary steak sauces for your steak and since it was my first time, I wanted to try them all. I was informed to try them all you have to pay an additional $2 per sauce. It's not the price at all, it's the principal of it that offended me.
The steak was bland, no seasoning at all. The creamed spinach had a heavy garlic aftertaste, and the corn souffle barely had kernels of corn.
The crab cakes were a joke. they literally gave us two that were the size of a half silver dollar coin. I wish I would have taken a picture.
As we walk through the door there was a floor fan and I look to my husband and just wondered how tacky that really looked. Besides the fact that the "bin" for umbrellas was simply a trash can with a print out sign that said umbrellas.
For the money we spent, honestly we could have dined at Texas Roadhouse and had a better experience.
My wife and I had a date night at B. Christopher’s. We arrived about 30 minutes before our reservations so we had a cocktail at the bar. We both had a martini. They were great. The host kept us informed on trying to seat us early which was unexpected but appreciated. She order the scallop risotto and I had the bone-in ribeye. Our food was awesome. Perfectly prepared and served with a smile. We will be going back again.
Brenna, our waitress was absolutely amazing. While the food was perfect as is, she put the cherry on top and made us laugh and enjoy the evening that much more. Best experience ever
Excellent steaks - I highly recommend the delmonico ribeye.
Outstanding service and food. Excellent wine list. Wish we lived here to go at least once a week.
The restaurant was super accommodating for our party and the service was great! I would definitely recommend B Christopher’s for a group outing!
We had a fantastic evening. The food, service, and atmosphere were exemplary. We brought my 7 mo old son and we felt welcomed (high chair and a plush toy!) not as if we were burdening the staff -- which is sometimes the vibe when you bring a child to dinner. My husband and I were celebrating my parents and we all agreed it was the best steak dinner we'd ever had. My dad said to me later, 'I've always wanted to take myself to a dinner like that.' Thanks for a wonderful night.
Another great meal at B.Christophers. The food was superb and a great selection of Bourbons. Cathleen took great care of us. They never disappoint.
Steaks were good, but not of the quality expected for the price. Our waiter sped through the specials so fast we had a hard time understanding all of them. He also recommended a bottle of wine that was good, but then proceeded to tell us we can pick it up at the grocery store for $12 (note, we paid around $30 for the bottle at the restaurant). Seems a bit overpriced in general based on our experience.
Our meal was very good and our server, a very pleasant young man, was outstanding. He made some excellent recommendations that were on point.
We visited this restaurant for the first time and will surely return.
Been there many times before, food was not near what it usually was waited way way to
long for entrees, my chicken was dried out the mash potatoes luke warm, another guests
steak charred way to much, a very off night for a restaurant I visit twice a year, unfortunate
we like Bobby the waiter but Im guessing it was the kitchen, will have to think twice before
I book there again
Ask for Bobby as your server and you will have a great experience!
Brenna was a wonderful server , we had filet and scallops for entrees and they were very good , the grilled salad was a little disappointing.
Delicious food. Amazing wine. Great atmosphere. The owner/chef came to our table personally just to see how we are. He was a very nice guy and chatted with us for a few minutes. Right around the corner from the Marriott where we were staying. 5 minuet walk back to hotel. 10/10 we will return!
Service was impeccable. Food excellent. Staff did everything they could to make sure we had a great evening.
We celebrated a family birthday and although we still had a great time together and made special memories, the experience as a whole did not live up to our expectations. We had problems with our drinks and when our entrees arrived, my daughters steak was the wrong size. Our waiter had a bit of an attitude when working through the drink problems. Oh well......
__ Despite letting you know that my daughter was a Vegan, her options were minimal
__ Disappointed with the lack of professionalism with the service
__ The mashed potatoes had very little flavor
__ Here is our positive comment - our steaks were excellent!
Great family evening. Very reasonable for the quality of the food and service.
Great ambiance, wonderful food and knowledgeable staff, was our first time there but not our last!!
The food and service were excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive.
I had the best steak I have ever had in my life! I will definitely return again and try something different. A very small menu but the food was outstanding.
1st visit ,very pleasantly surprised. We WILL be back.
Fabulous no complaints!
A place with great food and service amplified by an incredible staff
We tried B. Christopher’s for the first time and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was quiet and elegant and the service impeccable. We ordered the crab cake appetizer which was honestly the best we had ever had. The cakes were meaty with almost no filler and served with a tasty lemon dill aioli and a corn tomato relish. For our main entrée, we both ordered the petite filet. The steaks were cooked precisely to order and we both selected the Cabernet mushroom sauce which paired perfectly with the meat. I chose the corn crème brûlée for my side and my husband ordered the caramelized Brussels sprouts with bacon. Both were superb. We finished with dark chocolate torte served with raspberry coulis, a perfect finish to a perfect meal. We unequivocally recommend this restaurant!
They are absolutely one of my favorites places to get a nice steak dinner from
Great both times! Love this spot in Greensboro. Plan going again soon.
The food and service was phenomenal! A upscale restaurant that feels very laid back and comfortable. This is a must eat place!
It was our first time to B. Christopher’s and we had a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Bobby was delightful. He was very helpful with explaining the menu options and suggestions. Our food was amazing and prepared to perfection. We will definitely be going back.
Great nite for dinner with a superior introduction to the menu and features of the nite. Will be back
Great first time experience. I would def go back. Food was amazing. Everything except that Caesar salad, wasn’t a huge fan
We love the environment and the place was amazing we will definitely come back and do it again.
Valentines Day Dinner
Great steak and one of our two sides was great. Definitely recommend the corn creme brûlée. The Brussels weren’t great and service was sub par for such an upscale restaurant. Food not really worth what you pay for.
We ate here Valentines Day so we made the reservation weeks before. When we arrived we were escorted to a small unattractive room with two other small tables. The restaurant’s main room is very nice. Being Valentine’s day we assumed they would be full and had no other tables. Our reservation was 7:45. Many empty tables when we arrived and when we left. We got chateaubriand for two and it was 5 thin slices of filet that were good, nothing special. The two sauces were pretty tasteless. My husband had an Old Fashion that was not great, and I had an okay Chardonnay.
This was our first and last time here.
Sad that Greensboro has so few good restaurants.
We were in the overflow area off to the right and if we go back we will make sure we’re in the main dining room, it has much better ambiance.
First visit here, excellent food and service. Typical value for a high end restaurant.
My wife and I went here for our Valentines Day dinner on February 13, 2019. It was our first visit, and it was recommended by one of the waiters, Bobby, whom we met at “Reel” (a seafood restaurant in Greensboro), where he is also a waiter. We are fans of Fleming’s and Ruth Chris, but we loved this place and the food she said they were some of the best Oysters Rockefeller she has had. I had a wedge salad and it was very good. We ordered the chateaubriand for two, cooked medium. It was awesome! Melt in your mouth tender; it could be cut with a fork - no knife needed. We shared a very good chocolate torte for dessert. The ambiance of the place is very nice as well. We will be back! B. Christopher’s gives Fleming’s and Ruth Chris a run for their money.
