B. Christopher's- Greensboro
Thanks for coming over for dinner. Enjoy the freshness at The Great American Steakhouse, B. Christopher’s.
I celebrated my 51 birthday with my family.
Food was fantastic
Waiter was busy with a large holiday group and was very inattentive and when he was at our table he was cold and unwelcoming. The food was meh at best and $180 ticket for 2 with a $48 bottle of wine and no appetizers makes this a poor value. We ordered the chocolate peppermint crepe brûlée and he brought us the classic. It was served too cold and should have been warmed close to room temperature. The one we ordered arrived and was also served too cold
Our meal and service were excellent. The draft from the door was a nuisance.
Overall, I really enjoyed my dinner and I had an excellent experience at B. Christopher's. This is definitely a steak house. The food was really good and was prepared properly. I like the relish tray and the bread was good. The service was also very good. I would probably go more often if there were a better selection of non-steak entrees. Also, I would like to see a wine selection that offered European wines. This is just constructive criticism. I really like the restaurant and definitely recommend it.
The food was prepared perfectly for our party. Everyone really enjoyed their appetizer, soup, and meal. Steak was fabulous. Waiter was very attentive to us and made our experience first class. Could not have asked for a better experience for my wife’s birthday dinner. Thank you Chris.
B. Christopher’s was an excellent experience in every way. The food was INCREDIBLE. Everything we ate was cooked to perfection. Our server was kind and very efficient. We will definitely be back!
For a date night with my bride, could not have picked a better place!
We had a great experience at B. Christopher’s, and would certainly recommend it to anyone. We had the filets, and they were second to none. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful dining experience!
The bone in Fillet was outstanding and cooked to perfection. Great corner location and easy parking access with the parking deck next to the building location
Other than the food, the thing that I enjoyed most about this particular restaurant was the ambiance. When I choose to go to an upscale restaurant, I want an intimate setting and this restaurant definitely provided that. The waitstaff was very attentive and the apple pastry with ice cream was a true delight. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a romantic evening out.
Jason C was great he made us feel very comfortable. It was my wife’s birthday dinner and he went out of his way to serve us will definitely be back.
1st time at this beautiful restaurant in downtown Gboro. Delicious filets and salmon. Great wine selection. Will be back.
This was our first visit to B. Christopher's and it definitely won't be our last! We absolutely loved our experience. The food was phenomenal, the wine list was ample, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!!
Very friendly and well located. Food was very good (ceasar and halibut), service was prompt and attentive. Would go back.
Two important people
Great food friendly service
Superb experience with knowledgeable friendly attentive staff. Highly recommend attending.
We always recommend B. Christopher’s to everyone we know! This is our favorite restaurant in Greensboro. The food is absolutely delicious! The is wine is perfect! They have the best steaks we have ever had, which our cooked to perfection. Highly suggest the Cote de Boeuf and New York Strip. We have gone many times and we have never been disappointed. Wonderful side dishes, salad and bread! The atmosphere gives you the sense of being in a big city, classy restaurant. Staff are great.
Outstanding highly recommend!!! I will be back. Thank you
Everything about the evening was perfect--food, service, timing, and attention!
2 families Elon Parents weekend dinner. We were in the back room which could use a little more ambience. Food was good. I got the fish special (trying to cut down on fat/red meat) which was a little disappointing. It was a little over cooked.
But overall a good meal and we had a very nice evening. We have been there every year for one reason or another and have another freshman at Elon so we will be back
Just had another great dinner at B Christopher's. Started with Oysters Rockefeller with along with a great presentation tasted wonderful. Next was a Cesar Said with a twist the lettuce was smoked. I would recommend the Cesar Salad. Our entree was made for two the Chateaubriand which was cooked to perfection. and tasted delightful. For desert was Creme Brûlée a perfect end to a date night.
Great time food and staff
A lovely dinner! Booked B. Christopher's strictly from reading reviews and they were spot on. A wonderful dinner. We were visiting our son at HPU and treated him to dinner. We each chose a different steak and they were all cooked perfectly with amazing flavor. I tried the char-grill Caesar salad. It had a wonderful smoky flavor with delicious creamy Caesar dressing. My son opted for the large Delmonico steak and I think he even chewed on the bone it was so good. The restaurant deserves to be much busier. Service was spot on. We truly enjoyed our dinner and would definitely return our next visit to the area. Thank you.
After waiting at host station for 10 minutes my husband walked up to the bar to get assistance and the server sped passed not even acknowledging him. He came across very rushed, almost manic and not attentive at all - actually managed to seat us without making any eye contact, or even a hello. Server took longer than expected to bring us our wine, never mind a glass of water. Our glasses of wine were quite uneven in serving size, even with ordering the same. Soup and entree did arrive hot and well presented -although my husband and I ordered the same dish I had a much more significant amount of steak on my plate. Steak was prepared very well most certainly my favorite of the dinner. I’m a sucker for good dinner rolls, however these were bland in flavor and certainly not fresh from the oven as our server emphasized - when we had to ask for our bread appetizer a second time. Took advantage of the Greensboro Restaurant Week 3 course special and most likely would not have dined here otherwise, not will we be likely to return - but I did enjoy the idea of having the opportunity to experience B. Christopher’s.
Very solid overall experience. A great downtown option. Cool vibe and good food.
Wonderful dinner and exceptional service! Love this restaurant!!
Well prepared and served meal. When we had a last minute time adjustment the management bend over backward to adjust. Thank you.
Incredible find! Jason was great...wonderful suggestions for a wonderful meal.
The staff was nice, accommodating and knowledgeable. However, while beautifully plated, the food was bland and underwhelming. It took several squeezes of lemon slices for the salmon to have any flavor. A side order of shoestring french fries was cold and seemingly old by the time it reached the table. The Delmonico was ordered “medium rare” and arrived to the table “medium to medium well” it was sent back and return “blue.” The staff apologized and removed the item from the bill but the damage was already done. We’d gone to B Christoper’s to celebrate a birthday and the man of the hour had nothing to eat. After a $300 tab, 6 unsatisfied customers and 1 hungry birthday man, we decided to walk down elm street for wings. On a lighter note, the wine was amazing and appropriately priced and the bread was warm, fresh and absolutely delicious.
Wonderful overall experience, food was delicious I would recommend it
B. Christopher's never fails to exceed expectations. From the variety of food and service it was a great place for dinner.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Service was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent for a nice quaint night out with my wife celebrating 11 years.
For the price range, B. Christopher's is so-so overall. Adequate service; servers respond with "no problem" when thanked for anything; wine and water glasses carry lots of fingerprints (inside and out from how they're handled). Steak was fine. Halibut overcooked. Entre presentation good. Food warm; nowhere near hot. Water not refilled, soft drinks/tea refreshed/refilled only if you ask. Downtown location can make parking a challenge with the usual beggars, etcetera, in attendance. Two dinners, 1 French onion soup, 1 dessert, two glasses of wine, 1 soft drink, $117.00.
I have eaten at B. Christopher's a number of times, and have always thought it was fantastic. Our recent visit was a special occasion for a group of 8 of us. B. Christopher's did everything to make the occasion a great event. As always, the food and service were excellent, and is now our go-to place for special occasions or just a great meal.
Great atmosphere, great service, and great food!
This is one of our favorite restaurants. The quality of food, impeccable service and atmosphere never disappoint! Chris truly cares about your experience and will do whatever it takes to ensure your return. We always eat here whenever we come to town.
Great food. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Server very courteous and knowledgeable about the menu. Atmosphere was romantic which is why we go there.
We already have recommended B. Christopher's to friends. Excellent experience. Presentation excellent. Loved the ambiance.
