The food that comes out of that kitchen is great. Last night I had the Crab Ravioli and my wife had the Crusted Sea Bass and they were both excellent. We shared the Berry Cobbler and it put us over the edge, in a good way. Went back today for Caesar Salad & Burgers. No disappointments! T was our server (we asked for his section the 2nd time) and he is the best. Keep up the great work. The entire staff is A+. We can’t wait to come back to Sonoma to visit B&V again.

Great service from a fun guy named “T”. Excellent burgers (one super loaded with fried onion rings, bacon and cheese, the other simpler with cheese). Martinis seemed watery. The noise level was very hard to take when our party of five wanted to catch up on life and gossip.

Called to change reservation time as was too late to change via open table.. arrived and it wasnt changed in their system. They did seat us.. but then called at the original final time asking where we were! Server was horrible. Literally walked away in the middle of us asking questions. Food was sub par at best.

The best thing about this lunch was the super attentive and engaging server, Michelle. She made sure we had everything to our request and spent the time to get to know us a bit while serving our every need. The food was the disappointment. We were excited to try the numero uno appetizer, a mushroom, tomato and cheese bruschetta which turned out to be two pieces of untoasted sourdough, on topped with cherry tomatoes (cold) and the other some tasty sauteed mushrooms with a huge slice of brie, cold and unmelted. I had the days risotto; pancetta, gorgonzola and radicchio. Pancetta was not fried off, cut in too large chunks, way too much cheese as it was the only note you could taste, super salty. Hint for the chef, pancetta and gorgonzoloa-you don't need to salt this dish. Maybe use unsalted chicken broth? Friend ordered the burger with truffle fried. Fries were just ok, not very truffle tasting, burger meat tasted good but was not anything exceptional. Overall, come for a good glass of wine, a whiskey flight or a nice cocktail. Go somewhere else for the meal. Thank you again Michelle for the great service.

We had a delicious meal outside in the warm evening. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The crispy Brussels sprouts were amazing as were the paglia fieno pasta, NY steak and seafood risotto dishes we tried. The noise level inside was quite loud so we were happy to have an outside table.

Food was great! We didn’t expect the food to be as great as it was. We had 3 different pastas ( all homemade and delicious) and the Sea Bass which was also delicious. Michelle was our server and she was awesome…very casual atmosphere with great food and drinks. So happy we tried it out.

Didn't see the white tablecloths as the photo in the picture. The food was good, nothing exceptional. The 4 of us had the Sea bass, lobster ravioli, B&V Burger, Chicken ravioli a personal salad and some drinks, the noise level was kind of loud. The staff was friendly, this was a nice restaurant, I was expecting a little bit more atmosphere.

I took my daughter there for her birthday. The menu was impressive. I had the riisotto . It was amazing for the price. Very nice wine list. The service more than excellent. Very attentive and friendly. We were seated at a corner table across from the bar. I thought it would be a little quieter than some of the other area. But no. The noise level was above energetic. But it was Friday night. ;-)

The name of restaurant is reflected in the list of whiskeys (bourbon, rye, scotch) available. The name does not communicate the range of amazing homemade pastas that the restaurant has been featuring for years. Come prepared to order pasta & American or Italian wines to go with pasta. Overall - great food, nice restaurant and good location. We had a rather large group on a Wednesday evening. When we arrived the table was ready and staff were welcoming and attentive throughout the meal. Several of our group had burgers and these were tasty and cooked to order with good fixings, though the bun had some mixed reviews. The beer selection was good with a balanced selection of options available. I would definitely visit again to try other options on the menu.

Attentive service, good drinks and possibly the best steak ever eaten in a restaurant. It was amazingly good and perfectly cooked. Other entrees and apps in our party of 5 were also good -- nothing failed to impress. B&V is a bit noisy esp. on a busy Saturday night, but there's good spacing between tables so it's not a huge problem. We live locally and this is a new favorite place for us.
