I had the crab ravioli which was delicious and highly recommend it. I sat at an outside table without a nearby heat lamp so it was a little chilly in the evening so dress appropriately for outdoor dining. The service was great - attentive without being overbearing.
This is such a great place to eat and enjoy the Sonoma square. Famous burgers and onion rings! But plenty of choices for all. Excellent wine and cocktails. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The food and staff were awesome but it was freezing!! Plan ahead.
Though their menu had approximately 25% of the original, (due to pandemic), still a great selection to choose from. Great spirit selection and the service was excellent!
It was a chilly night but the outdoor heaters kept us toasty warm. Food was piping hot and the service was exceptional as always!
The setting, food and our server were great. Sadly another server confronted and verbally attacked the table behind us, causing a lot of stress and drama for that couple and all around. Another team member talked to and tried to appease the couple, but the irate server came back and negatively engaged with the couple again causing them to get very upset. IMO not how to engage with your guests. Plus it ruined the mood of a lovely evening for us and many around that table.

What a nice surprise — casual, fun dining on Sonoma Square. The fried mozzarella was unique and delish. The ribs and pasta are plentiful!!! And the Mediterranean rock bass was mouth-watering. We weren’t rushed and the service was awesome. We’ll be back!
Was excited to celebrate a b-day here. Wasn’t that crowded for a Saturday night, we had reservations and stood at the host/hostess stand for several minutes. 3 different servers came by to tell us someone would be with us and finally one of them just gestured to an open table as he mentioned he had no idea where the hostess was. We sat for approx 10 minutes and watched a server (maybe ours?) sort silverware, nobody actually came to take our drink order or anything else. We weren’t in any hurry, but it seemed pretty silly considering it wasn’t that crowded so we just left. Kind of a bummer because then we had to scramble for dinner. Food might be good but we’ll never know - my advice, just go to hop monk instead.
Food and Drinks were good! Service was the icing on the cake! Fun place to go with friends.
Our food was cooked perfectly and delicious- shrimp and zucchini risotto and the salmon. Great service and atmosphere.

Food was delicious and well presented. Vegtables were perfectly cooked and colrs were vibrant. The ginger carrot soup was perfect for a chilly day and the chicken was moist and flavorful. Server T was attentive and friendly.
We had the crab ravioli and the chicken. Ravioli was very good but not enough food. Chicken was very good too.

This place was recommended to us by the locals, as we are new to Northern California. Tonight’s service left us frustrated and very appalled. We were left waiting almost an hour for even a cocktail, and longer for appetizers. While the food tasted good, we were over 2 hours for a meal, which was unacceptable. After our disappointing experience, it continued to get worse after our server, Blake, chased us down, berated us, and called us names. We would never go back.
Fantastic food, just a little cold and loud in there but would definitely go again. Also, would have loved to see the bar menu. We were just given the dinner menu.

This place accepted my Open Table resurvation during the sonoma fires (which were 30 miles from here). When we arrived they were closed with no note and no explanation. I understand that for some people the fire may present a hardship for keeping a restaurant open, but no note, email, or phone call? I think that says something about the kind of service you can expect. How hard is it toturn off Open Table when you are closed?
Ambiance was great. Good menu. Steak was smothered which we didn’t expect, could have stood on its own but was good. Dessert was excellent. Waiter let us be which was fine, but could have checked on us more. Would go back if had the chance!
Made it for happy hour. Appetizer food was good but especially liked the grilled cheese with balsamic bacon jam - should have had two. Happy hour beer selection is limited but good value. Meant to have dinner but we had just eaten a cheese place with a wine tasting. Definitely want to go back for dinner.
Food was great, service even better. T (Tsering sp) is fabulous. Servers everywhere should take lessons from him!.
Service was terrible. We had Jess as server and he was inattentive. Ordered appetizer and never came out he blamed someone else. Food was delivered sporadically. Did t refill our drinks. Asked for manager he said I’ll comp the appetizer but no real apology. Jess came back and blamed others. Never apologized.

Fun ambiance, great service. The strawberry salad was very good but We were both disappointed with the main dishes. The blackened Bass was over cooked and half of their five hour chicken was very dry and not tender as advertised. Would give it another shot, though.

We were just visiting for one night. B&V was recommended and was right on the square. Good casual dinning. Wish I knew the prime rib was available on Thursday night.
We absolutely loved our experience here! The wait staff were so good. Our young kids sat and watched Maria making fresh pasta. She was incredibly accommodating and sweet to them as they chatted with her and looked on in awe. Highly recommend!

Amazing food was so impressed
This was our first time here and we would definitely return. I did have to send an appetizer back because it was undercooked but that was ok. My sister LOVED her Venetian stew, my brother in law had the ribs and they were a bit spicy for him but the portion was huge. The fries were outstanding. I had the clams appetizer for dinner. The flavor was great but it was a bit too salty for my personal taste. Didn’t have room for dessert as we had the calamari to start and it was very good. We’ll be back for sure.
Second time eating here, had the same thing-Cowboy Cut Rib Eye medium rare-DIVINE! Had friends from Belgium in town and we all had a wonderful meal and visit. Shut the place down!

We went here for dinner on Mother’s Day. I had the roast chicken which was delicious and a large portion. My daughters and I shared a bottle of wine and the guys had a beer. Service was good, but had a few lags in refilling water. They were not full yet still seemed busy. Really nice restored older building.

I had requested a table (online reservation) to be on the Mission Sonoma side by the windows, so it would be quieter than the bar side. I have elderly parents who are hard of hearing. When we got there, they had missed my request and the tables we wanted were taken. We had a booth by the bar and had to shout throughout the lunch. We all had a hard time hearing. Food was good, but experience stressful.
I really like this place and often go for a meal and drinks when I'm in Sonoma. I happened to be on my own and didn't appreciate my table for one reservation immediately inside the door on a not very busy, cold and rainy Saturday evening. So I took a seat at the bar. The poor bartender was on his own and doing his best to keep up with drink orders. I've had that bartender before and he's great, but the service was lacking due to his overwhelming work load. I don't know that the service would have been any better if I'd stayed at the cold, drafty table reserved for me by the door. it seemed to me that everyone at the bar was trying to stifle frustration at slow service. Maybe someone called off, but if scheduling one bartender on a Saturday night was intentional, then I'd suggest considering a second bartender. If it's not terribly busy, don't use the tables immediately near the door. The food was great as always. I love the vinegar based coleslaw and fries are tasty, regular or truffle. There used to be a BBQ sampler that is no longer on the menu. That was my go to, but the half rib platter was a nice substitute.
We went to B&V just last week and enjoyed it... this second time, not so much. Louder, different music, not so nice service, only ok food. Totally different feeling. More “bar scene”, which the wait staff seemed to meld with, to our detriment, then we were told that the restaurant is going to change to a steak house in a week or two. So, everything will be different. We’ll see.
