Perfectly fine hotel breakfast. Eggs, bacon, home fries for two about $35.
Good coffee, friendly staff

The ambiance here was a little strange. We went there with our young son due to reviews that it was kid friendly. Good food choices for kids but more if a bar/lounge atmosphere.

Had a wonderful Valentine's evening with my friend and her kids. The pre fix menu was delicious and exciting. I had the fois creme brulee as a starter and it was wonderful. The steak was cooked to perfection and the chili chocolate mousse was decadent and light. By far one of my favorite dinners of late.

Enjoyed a pre-theatre brunch at the B&O American bistro. Food was good, but we were disappointed that at 11:00 am on a Sunday they were out of chicken and waffles and the quinoa bowl. Overall, the menu has many choices for brunch including traditional breakfasts and a nice entree selection. Service was friendly, but not overbearing. We had the Chesapeake omelet, the american breakfast and the eggs florentine flatbread. Everything was delicious and the breakfast potatoes were especially tasty.

Very disappointing. Crab cake sandwich had more cake than crab - not very Baltimore - and was tiny. The other entrees were uninspiring. I wanted to show off Baltimore cuisine to people from out-of-town, avoid the string of Inner Harbor places, and left apologizing. Now I am shipping them crab cakes as a way to make up for what made me look uninteresting. Chose this place because of other reviews and reputation, but won't return.

We went for my mom's birthday. We were seated immediately (10am Sat). The host and server were both very nice and attentive. It was a bit odd when my sister ordered the deviled eggs and we assumed it would be 4 pieces (2 eggs) and the server confirmed it but when she brought it out, it was only 3 pieces. So she explains it as it depends on who is cooking that day on how it's made. That's a horrible reason, she should have just apologized and said she was incorrect. You should never receive different items depending on who's cooking.

My mom and I both had the sunrise wrap, the base flavor was fine but mine was tepid and hers was bordering on room temp. My sister said my nephew's pancakes were bad but he ate most of them. My daughter seemed to like her chicken & waffles. My husband said his biscuits and gravy was over seasoned.

None of us would go back, partly based on the distance from our houses (none of us live in Baltimore) but also the lackluster quality of the food for the price.

Impeccable service and delightful entrees. The cauliflower side is a definite hit. Endive salad with shaved beets was a treat! Portion size is just right and the Queen Bee cocktail a terrific start to a wonderful dinner.

We were greeted by incredibly friendly hosts and our server was fantastic. Kind, professional, and warm. Although my dining companion enjoyed her options, I was rather disappointed with my choices.

I started off with a well made manhattan that was served in what unfortunately could best be described as an oversized thimble. In all of my experiences in Baltimore, this had to be the smallest cocktail served "up" that I have ever received.

I had the rarebit fondue with housemade chips. The chips were rather tasty although some were less than crisp. The fondue was not overly flavorful, but was rescued somewhat by caramelized onions.

I had the trout with crab rice for the main course. The fish was served without adornment and consisted of 4 small skin-on pieces that were rather dry. The crab rice also suffered from a lack of moisture. The promised smoked carrot espuma definitely imparted a smoky flavor to the dish, but did not alleviate the overall dryness or lack of cohesiveness to unite the fish with the other elements of the plate.

Roasted cauliflower was quite nice.

Came in for the final night of restaurant week and loved it! My friend and I shared the meatball appetizer and the kale salad to start. Both were flavorful and well balanced. I ordered the bison pot pie and he had the catfish etouffee...just perfect. I loved every bite...the desserts were also angelic. The carrot cake was perfectly moist and not too heavy or dense. My friend had the marscapone and it was perfect. Smooth, creamy, delicate and just overall heavenly taste.

Shout out to the chef and manager for checking in throughout the meal and to our server Ben for being so attentive throughout service.

We had a fine time and a good meal. The roasted cauliflower was memorable, truly. The sweet tea chicken was terrific. The mushroom risotto was delicious. Good selection of wines.
Feel kind of agnostic about this place--didn't love it more than other faves.
Our server was terrific--just the right amount of friendly and attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
The atmosphere was pleasant--it was a Sunday eve and very quiet.

This restaurant is one of my favorites in the city. As long as it's not a holiday or a weekend you can get a table pretty quickly and even when it's busy they can usually still accommodate. The service is impeccable and the food is delicious (try the duck wings!). The bar is lead by friendly and competent bartenders who put care and attention into their cocktail menu. It is apparent everyone who works here enjoys their job and it shines through in every aspect of the restaurant.

Being in Baltimore for the weekend and being unfamiliar with the area and choice of restaurants, we chose this one. We were very well pleased. Food was great. Service was super. Had fun with the waiter trying to guess his name. He played along. Thanks, Ben!😀

Great place. I've been here many times since they first opened. The menu changes often enough that you don't need to worry about being tired of the same old choices. This last visit was during restaurant week, so it was a special menu. Great choices. Great food. The staff is fun, polite, and knows their stuff. I'll definitely be back.

We found this restaurant on the Restaurant Week list, and may not have gotten there otherwise. The cocktails were really fun, with lots of options featuring bitter liquers. I'm a sucker for a giant ice cube. The dishes were all slightly unexpected version of classics- for example, the pot pie was more like stew with a slice of puff pastry on the side. We were seated near the bar, which felt a little gray, and I wonder if the experience would have felt warmer if we had been seated up in the dining room. But it was fun, and if I were in the neighborhood I can see eating (or at least getting drinks) there again.

This was a very disappointing experience. We went for Restaurant Week lunch and the restaurant was only serving its regular menu items, so no great deal. The ambiance was very outdated and a bit shopworn. The food was just OK.

We got there with a group of 6 for brunch and they were able to accommodate us. Had a perfectly fine time. The heat was broken, but there was someone there to fix it. Even though it was January there were some fruit flies around which was a little gross. The brunch menu was fine with enough variation to satiate most peoples brunch cravings.

Painfully slow service. Food was ok but we had to wait so long to order and eat, we didn’t bother ordering past an appetizer and cocktail, although we sat long enough it could have been a full dinner and dessert.

The couples’ seating area is uncomfortably close to the couples on either side of you- you end up hearing every word of each other’s conversation- including the couple that was excessively drunk (drinks before arriving, as they had poor service as well) and loudly yelled four-letter-word hateful phrases to each other. No manager showed to ask them to quiet down and we were torn between interjecting or leaving.

I hope it was an off night with slow staff, but please improve the seating arrangement.

I enjoyed eating at the Brasserie. Their brunch was good and the overall quality of the food and drink was great. They had an awesome selection of beers and cocktails. However we went there on New Years and it would have been nice to have additional menu options. Because of the special menu in use that night, which were not interested in, we had few options and no time to go anywhere else. The wait staff was courteous and the setting was nice, but again, my only real complaint was that we had to choose between a 4/5 course meal or an appetizer.

Mediocre food, terrible service. We barely saw our server and had to ask the manager to bring out our dessert. It wasn’t just our table; we overheard several people complaining to the manager about service. The manager was very apologetic but this is the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. The food was disappointing too, especially for the price.

Granted, it was New Year's Eve, so the staff probably wasn't prepared for the prix fixe menu, but...we arrived at 7pm for dinner. We, and the three couples sitting near us, informed the waiter that we had a 9:30 show to make nearby. Not a problem, we were all told. Well...it was.

Each course was brought out in the wrong order (couple next to us got their amuse bouche after their main course, another couple got their main course twice and dessert before the appetizer), and it took way too long between courses. By 9:00, we had been served just 2 of the 5 courses. We had to leave, so we calmly mentioned our situation to the manager, asking that our drinks be comped. To his credit, he comped everything. Yes, it was just half a meal and a few drinks, but he handled it well.

Keep in mind that all of this happened without there being a full house. It wasn't empty, but the waitstaff weren't swamped. It was almost comical how inept they were, and I have to say--if you're not prepared to tutor the staff on a change in menu/service, as a prix fixe requires a competent restaurant to do, then don't attempt the changes.
