Our team added a new member from NJ and wanted to treat her to a great lunch. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was great. We will be back again!
TJ was an excellent server, very attentive and personable.
Recommend the Tomahawk Ribeye. Delish,
Our food was outstanding; perfect temperature, beautiful presentation. The menu while not vast does cover nearly every taste. I dined with four people, we all ordered something different. Nothing whatsoever disappointed! One of our diners is extremely picky and even she found something that suited her tastes and raved about it. The portions are perfect!
Everything was completely perfect, the service and the atmosphere and the quality of food.
In particular even if the quality of food is higher, the prices are little bit over. For example a steak of 37 dollars can cost 28-30 in other places with the same quality.
But, anyway I suggest to go.
My husband and I received a gift card for Christmas. We were not sure what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised! It is beautiful in an old school way with a modest twist. Great vibe, very friendly staff and excellent food. We will definitely go again. Another plus - you can park on the street at 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and the parking is free.
Beautiful Easter buffet. Everything was delicious!
I liked the personality of the executive chef and the Irish brogue of the head maitr’d.
Our server, Ben, was terrific! We received everything so quickly, and he was an expert regarding the menu.
The welcome and duck wings recommendation we received from the two Maitre Ds also was on point.
Everything was great! We certainly will return during our next date night in Charm City.
Food was excellent but service slow. I realize that almost everyone there was attending a Jimmy Buffet concert a few blocks away the service was slow but we did make it for the main event but misses the opening artist.
Great service, excellent food and really good cocktails. We started with the sweet potato ravioli and the cheese/meat board. Both were excellent. Then onto the best crab cake I've had in a very long time. The creamed cabbage and sun chokes that came with the crab cake were both excellent. The flat iron steak that my husband had was also very good. So much better than any of the chain type restaurants right in the harbor.
Cocktails, food and service were all top notch!!
Excellent Sunday brunch before theatre matinee. Food was fresh with very large portions. Service was superb. Our waiter was professional and congenial.
Everything was excellent. I had made the reservation letting them know that we were celebrating our 5th anniversary. They gave us a great table and the waitress came over and immediately wished us a happy anniversary. We had the Pot Roast special and the wagyu flat iron steak and both meals were cooked to perfection. The waitress was friendly and attentive and also brought us each a glass of Rose which was on the house. A wonderful experience overall. Would highly recommend to others.
Fine pre-theater drink and dinner. One of the city's best kept secrets.
The 4 of us enjoyed our dinner before the Blake Shelton concert. Great waitstaff!
Nice restaurant with a hip bar scene and ambiance. Food and service were both quite good, although the food coming out of the kitchen was slow (we were there with the pre-concert crowd at Royal Farms Arena). Menu is eclectic and interesting, and the decor is attractive. Would head back to B&O again.
service was a little off, which is out of the ordinary for this location. food, as always, was spectacular.
Went to B & O for a casual business dinner for The Charm'tastic Mile of Baltimore. The food & wine were great. The Charcuterie Plate and Wagyu Burger were amazing. Very nice portions. The service by the entire staff were top-notch. I highly recommend the B & O and I give them 5-stars.
Very comfortable waiting area/lounge if you arrive early. For sure make a reservation. The staff are super friendly & highly professional. The price matches the quality, so expect to pay more for the far superior quality B&O has to offer. Highly recommend to all looking for a cozy spot located in the heart of Baltimore...
Innovative menu with great wine card and local beers. Attentive service without being overbearing. The waitress had great knowledge of the food and beverage choices.
Lovely spot to eat well while enjoying the company of friends.
The meatloaf special was fantastic. Great service, nice of the chef to check in.
Despite having made my reservation 2 weeks ahead of time for a special birthday celebration, and the restaurant being about half full, we were given a table right off the stairway in an area that felt like it was in the path of business, and there was a broken light overhead making it hard to see. The three guests who ordered steak were all given a plate of meat that was at least one level less cooked than it should have been: the medium was bright pink, and the medium rares were very dark red. The cocktails and appetizers were all good. The service team were all nice, but it felt like they were in their first restaurant jobs, not professionals. We tipped well, but I had hoped for a nicer experience for this special dinner.
Awesome cocktails!
Excellent venue for business meals. Excellent food and service, reasonable prices, unhurried pace, quiet ambiance for conversation.
The ambiance here was a little strange. We went there with our young son due to reviews that it was kid friendly. Good food choices for kids but more if a bar/lounge atmosphere.
Perfectly fine hotel breakfast. Eggs, bacon, home fries for two about $35.
Good coffee, friendly staff
The duck wings are amazing!
Had a wonderful Valentine's evening with my friend and her kids. The pre fix menu was delicious and exciting. I had the fois creme brulee as a starter and it was wonderful. The steak was cooked to perfection and the chili chocolate mousse was decadent and light. By far one of my favorite dinners of late.
Excellent hospitality and service; delicious and creative cuisine selections. Great atmosphere; convenient location.
Enjoyed a pre-theatre brunch at the B&O American bistro. Food was good, but we were disappointed that at 11:00 am on a Sunday they were out of chicken and waffles and the quinoa bowl. Overall, the menu has many choices for brunch including traditional breakfasts and a nice entree selection. Service was friendly, but not overbearing. We had the Chesapeake omelet, the american breakfast and the eggs florentine flatbread. Everything was delicious and the breakfast potatoes were especially tasty.
Very disappointing. Crab cake sandwich had more cake than crab - not very Baltimore - and was tiny. The other entrees were uninspiring. I wanted to show off Baltimore cuisine to people from out-of-town, avoid the string of Inner Harbor places, and left apologizing. Now I am shipping them crab cakes as a way to make up for what made me look uninteresting. Chose this place because of other reviews and reputation, but won't return.
We went for my mom's birthday. We were seated immediately (10am Sat). The host and server were both very nice and attentive. It was a bit odd when my sister ordered the deviled eggs and we assumed it would be 4 pieces (2 eggs) and the server confirmed it but when she brought it out, it was only 3 pieces. So she explains it as it depends on who is cooking that day on how it's made. That's a horrible reason, she should have just apologized and said she was incorrect. You should never receive different items depending on who's cooking.
My mom and I both had the sunrise wrap, the base flavor was fine but mine was tepid and hers was bordering on room temp. My sister said my nephew's pancakes were bad but he ate most of them. My daughter seemed to like her chicken & waffles. My husband said his biscuits and gravy was over seasoned.
None of us would go back, partly based on the distance from our houses (none of us live in Baltimore) but also the lackluster quality of the food for the price.
Impeccable service and delightful entrees. The cauliflower side is a definite hit. Endive salad with shaved beets was a treat! Portion size is just right and the Queen Bee cocktail a terrific start to a wonderful dinner.
This is a great pre-theater option for the Hippodrome or the Baltimore Arena. Service was great the menu has something for everyone.
We were greeted by incredibly friendly hosts and our server was fantastic. Kind, professional, and warm. Although my dining companion enjoyed her options, I was rather disappointed with my choices.
I started off with a well made manhattan that was served in what unfortunately could best be described as an oversized thimble. In all of my experiences in Baltimore, this had to be the smallest cocktail served "up" that I have ever received.
I had the rarebit fondue with housemade chips. The chips were rather tasty although some were less than crisp. The fondue was not overly flavorful, but was rescued somewhat by caramelized onions.
I had the trout with crab rice for the main course. The fish was served without adornment and consisted of 4 small skin-on pieces that were rather dry. The crab rice also suffered from a lack of moisture. The promised smoked carrot espuma definitely imparted a smoky flavor to the dish, but did not alleviate the overall dryness or lack of cohesiveness to unite the fish with the other elements of the plate.
Roasted cauliflower was quite nice.
Came in for the final night of restaurant week and loved it! My friend and I shared the meatball appetizer and the kale salad to start. Both were flavorful and well balanced. I ordered the bison pot pie and he had the catfish etouffee...just perfect. I loved every bite...the desserts were also angelic. The carrot cake was perfectly moist and not too heavy or dense. My friend had the marscapone and it was perfect. Smooth, creamy, delicate and just overall heavenly taste.
Shout out to the chef and manager for checking in throughout the meal and to our server Ben for being so attentive throughout service.
We had a fine time and a good meal. The roasted cauliflower was memorable, truly. The sweet tea chicken was terrific. The mushroom risotto was delicious. Good selection of wines.
Feel kind of agnostic about this place--didn't love it more than other faves.
Our server was terrific--just the right amount of friendly and attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
The atmosphere was pleasant--it was a Sunday eve and very quiet.
Wonderful brunch menu! Good quick service before a show at the Hippodrome!
Great staff and service. Bartender makes some really good drinks!
