Opened in 2014 to a 4.5 Star review from the Baltimore Sun, Azumi is located on Baltimore's Inner Harbor in the elegant Four Seasons Hotel. With picturesque panoramic waterfront views, Azumi offers authentic Japanese cuisine with a strong focus on sushi matched with an amazing "hot kitchen." Azumi's Sake and Japanese Whiskey program is one of the largest in the region. Named the city's best Japanese restaurant by Baltimore Magazine, Azumi is also one of the hottest spots for nightlife in the city featuring a live DJ on weekends. Enjoy outdoor dining on our expansive patio. Outside seating can be requested but not guaranteed.

Azumi’s highly-skilled teppanyaki / hibachi chefs are on display in our FLAME ROOM as they cook the highest-quality meats, seafood, vegetables & rice on a solid-surface iron griddle right before your eyes in this intimate & interactive dining experience.

    Extremely small portions for the price. Tables are too close too each other. I could literally touch the person at the table next to me. When clearing our table, the staff asked us to pass our dirty dishes to them. Art work was hung crooked. Paint on the wall horribly chipped. The bathroom was filthy. I asked for a second drink but it never arrived. Not at all the experience we were expecting. Maybe my expectations were too high!?

    I was surprised to be charged facility fee and also expected to provide another tip. I gave 20 percent tip but wonder how much will different fees be charged in the future: inner harbor fees? Weekend fees? Dinner fees? We have seen living wages fees, health fees, etc. should just add all these fees to the cost of dishes and just have taxes and optional tips. Otherwise, sushi was amazingly fresh. We ordered 240 top of line sushi dish and gobled down 40 pieces within half hour from three of us.
