Everything we ordered was amazing! The lamb chop, the Maryland roll, the jalapeño roll, the desserts, cocktails, all of it!
Music was loud, felt like I was shopping at H&M. Food was okay, but definitely not work the price. Ordered Wagyu, which tasted like any normal steak and was overcooked. Sushi was good, but not mind blowing. There's better sushi in Baltimore.
Excellent experience and a must return. The food is exceptional as well as the customer service. Great location and view.
So very disappointed in the experience. Service was beyond poor, food was not fresh. Just a terrible experience.
We had an incredible beautiful meal delivered by attentive service in a beautiful space.
The food and staff are excellent. We did have to ask the manager to send someone over to at least offer us water, but that is not our typical experience. We are all entitled to an off moment. The manager jumped on the issue and made the situation right.
Fabulous food and Eric is an all star server!
Love the Belvedere Mango cocktail!
Excellent, very fresh fish. I had a bowl of Chirashi and was very pleased
Our server was extremely attentive, extremely knowledgeable. I knew she was above average when I ordered an espresso martini at the end of dinner, and she asked me if I preferred Bailey’s or without Bailey’s. 10 out of 10 would recommend
Love this place. Fish is always excellent quality. Cocktails are legit and seem reasonably priced for the elegance and complexity. Last season’s saketini was off menu and they still made it perfect to a T. The raspberry lychee ice margarita and the mezcal cocktail A+++.
Easily the best sushi in Baltimore and a great selection of sake.
Mixed review. Overall Poor experience. Maybe it was the fact it was 3pm but service was poor or seemed like staff did not want to serve the table we were at. bento boxes were tasteless with sub par yellow tail. Been to many many Japanese restaurants and aside from location and view overall quality of food was sub par. Appetizers however were good specifically Crispy rice tuna and calamari were good.
I love Azumi! Never fails to amaze me. I always visit when I can!
Might have to be the best sushi I have ever eaten. I travel the US and Canada weekly for the last 20 years and this is the best. The service is tremendous and the chef was very friendly. I will definitely go back on my trips to Baltimore. 10 ⭐️’s.
Very nice place with great views of the harbor. Sushi was excellent, but prices seemed a little high to us.
Great experience, food and service were amazing!
Beautiful restaurant with a nice view of the harbor and excellent people-watching. The service was friendly. The meal was overpriced: the ramen noodles were partially underdone and some were clumped together, straight out of the package; the sashimi tuna was cut a bit haphazardly. The best part of my bento lunch box was the rock shrimp salad.
Azumi was tasty, but certainly not exceptional and not worth its pricing. I wouldn't return.
the valet needs to open at 4 and not at 4:20pm the food wason point, the help i received picking out the sake was phenomenal
Wonderful location, fantastic service, friendly staff and the food was amazing.
Service was very bad. Did not know how to cater to allergies.
The food was amazing and you could tell the freshest and highest quality of fish is used for the rolls. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. We look forward to returning.
I was impressed from the moment I walked in the door. The decor and ambiance were amazing. The music was current. The volume was up. It gives you a swanky hip New York Club vibe. Kinda difficult hearing our waitress, but it was fine. Every bit of food was amazing. Quality cuts of sushi and beef. The drinks were very tasty and strong. We will be going back!
I made a reservation and the table was not ready. 30-45 min later I had to repeatedly leave the bar 3-4 times to remind them I was waiting at the bar. No one came to the bar after I repeatedly said thats where we would be waiting. After the 4th time we got a table after I said something. Just because we are young or new to that type of food does not mean we deserve a different type of service. The whole experience was not worth it. I have been a few times and it’s been a good 2-3 years since my last visit . It’s gone down hill and there are much better places in the city.
Great food as always! Management staff went above and beyond on a busy holiday. Had a 9:00 PM reservation and there was a minor wait due to it being Valentines day and a packed restaurant. The Manager offered us a free drink and they even passed out complimentary champagne while we waited! The food is phenomenal and worth every penny.
Went there for Valentine’s Day.
Requested the dining room.
They tried to seat us in the bar and tell us they had extended their dining room for the night.
Note, there was a DJ and no fewer than 4 giant LED TV’s with jellyfish floating on them. My wife was seated directly in front of all those things for our romantic night out.
Asked to be reseated. Got a tude from two employees. One then tried to seat us at the sushi bar. Again, I declined bc I had requested the dining room at reservation time.
Eventually they seated us in some weird room that’s clearly designed for business meetings. It, too, had a giant 50” LED with floating jellyfish.
The music was. So. Loud. And so. Bad. It was like being in a club.
The food was fine. But incredibly overpriced for what it was.
All-in-all, a really bad experience on a special night.
Overall a 3. Food was fine. Sushi was fresh-ish. Rice in rolls was overcooked, sashimi was nice. The menu wasn't very creative. I felt I could've gotten that meal anywhere albeit with lower quality fish and meats. Drinks at the bar were excellent. Wait staff was slow and disorganized. 30 minute wait for an 8:30 reservation, entrees came out before appetizers. The music was so loud the base was making the table vibrate. Great Decor, very inviting. I also expect real wasabi at high end sushi joints, not the 90/10 horseradish/wasabi paste you get with mall sushi.
Had a reservation at 8:15 but was not seated until 830+. They gave us free champagne which was nice. Other than running late, everything else about the experience was great. The restaurant was busy which caused a lot noise but that didn’t deter from a wonderful evening.
The food and drinks are amazing. Service is impeccable.
Best sushi and fried rice I have ever had!
Great food, great ambience! The sushi is amazing. The service was a little slow however it was still good service. Really enjoyed myself. Definitely plan to return.
Overall an excellent dinner and dining experience. Staff was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the food, and was able to suggest a sake pairing for the tasting menu.
Service was prompt, ambiance was good, and the food was amazing. Overall an excellent choice for a Valentines evening date.
The wait staff was very friendly. The food was amazing. It was my first time there, and I’m very impressed.
King crab roll and wagyu fried rice were awesome - pricey but worth it for sure... will be back again!
We have had many visits to Azumi. All have been a great experience. This time the service was not up to the standard we come to expect. The server kept forgetting our order. Maybe because the music was so loud and she could not hear us. Either way, it was a disappointing evening. I hope this is not a trend.
Everything was wonderful!!
I love Azumi-it is the best sushi I have ever had. Beautiful place, wonderful service!
Great food well done but the Zen one would expect is counter to the loud music track and Club vibe. The NYC prices are out of line.
We ordered the A5 Japanese Wagyu at $38 per ounce the taste left a lot to be desired . My group 3 order over $500 and none of us finished or felt satisfied.
Not your grandmothers sushi restaurant, music, people and the atmosphere all contribute to a great experience.
