    Great food but seriously overpriced. Great location to eat outside if weather permits. Our waiter was great, the floor manager was walking around checking on things which was nice to see. The food was amazing! Really top drawer but very overpriced considering your only getting an 8-piece roll. Wagyu was outstanding, (I expected nothing less) The Flamming crab was delicious and presented very sexy. The coconut macaroon and chocolate lava cake for dessert were so good. Tony our waiter was awesome. He was slammed but we never felt neglected or ignored. Thank you all for making our dining experience an excellent one.

    Dining at Azumi was an absolute delight! The food was exquisite and beautifully presented, but what truly elevated our evening was our waiter, Jasper. His attention to detail, warm demeanor, and excellent service made our experience significantly better. Highly recommend!

    Azumi provides excellent Japanese cuisine from the kitchen and the sushi chefs. We had a very enjoyable experience. Their outstanding food outweighs the shortcomings on the service side of the house: Thus, the 5-star rating. Our server was willing, polite and attentive, but clearly poorly trained in wine service. One of the server assistants was surly and rude, making various demands of us, the restaurant's guests, as well as intrusively reaching across one person to place or clear a dish. She needs to be properly trained or to find another career.

    My man planned a date here. I was nervous because most places don’t have many vegan options. This place has plenty. As a vegan I had veggie fried rice, shishito peppers, sautéed mushrooms and cucumber rolls. The vibe was perfect for a date night.

    To begin let’s start with be greater at the host stand like we were royalty. Then brought to a table with a great people watching window. After drooling over the menu, hot sake and several amazing rolls that we ordered arrive very quickly and beautifully. I have had sushi in some of the best restaurants in our great country and have never had better, even in LA. The music, a bit clubby for the venue at first, was turned down as if they read my mind. The hot chocolate lava cake was a brilliant way to end the meal. Thank you Chef!

    I’ve been to many Japanese restaurants for sushi. We were visiting Baltimore and Ajumi was highly rated so we decided to take a chance. I ordered sushi/nigiri dinner and let me tell you - each piece was so TINY my husband and I couldn’t believe it; $37 for eight tiny pieces! Also the shrimp&veggie tempura was a joke. You couldn’t tell veggies from shrimp because they were same shape and similar in sizes. We’ve spoken to the manager, and he graciously offered to give us a discount, without it we would have felt even more ripped off. Ambience and service were good but the food was very overly priced for what we got.

    The A5 tasting menu was incredible and surpassed expectations. Not only was the food excellent, but the cocktails were fresh, creative and delicious. In addition to a phenomenal taste experience, the service was outstanding as well. The entire staff takes care of you in some way. The young lady who was our dedicated server was just the right amount of attentive, and everyone there either answered our questions with effortless explanations or offered new recommendations and knowledge. This restaurant will exceed your expectations, and that’s coming from a 20 year vet of the industry. Well done. Will dine again and again!

    The food, although a little over price since the size and quality seem to have gone down just slightly, was very good. Service was almost too good. You tell they were bored (it was slow) and at times it felt like they were hovering waiting to bus the table and/or they would do it mid conversation while we were on a date. This isn’t a complaint just an observation as our table was always clean so that we could leave in closer to have a more quiet and romantic conversation without touching a dirty table. That was appreciated. NOW, the bad. The valet is $15 and the restaurant was so slow we were in and out in 30m. I get it, gotta pay wages, so again no complaint just a little to high of a charge because I’d rather tip the Valet instead of paying fees and such. Ok so the VERY bad, the valet gentleman was a rock star as far as professionalism, clean appearance, and the hustle. Man this dude hustled, but that is where the VERY bad comes in. I drive a Tesla and utilize their insurance which monitors everything. My perfect score was lowered because the valet drove for 57 seconds without a seatbelt which is a huge hit and then one “aggressive” turn which Tesla considers a sneeze while turning lol. The seatbelt hit was huge on my insurance though. I informed him that he needs to be aware for future Tesla customers and he was very respectful. Doesn’t fix my insurance score but, at least he was professional about his mistake.

    A $9 “taco” appetizer was hors d'oeuvre size, you need three at a minimum, very tasty, but kind of misleading? Food came out wayyy too fast, no time to enjoy. Felt rather, “ get ‘em in, get ‘em out!” Our service was lovely, but the place was very loud. Dunno. Our second time there and prob the last, 🤷‍♀️ Nothing special.

    Carl, Steve, and Mario all made sure we had a wonderful omakase experience for our first time here. Take it from two New Yorkers - this place is top notch - go with the $310pp experience and you will not be disappointed. Food was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. Carls service was knowledgeable, prompt, and all around 5 star. We will be back on our next visit to Baltimore and will be sure to tell all of our local friends and family to check this place out !

    Food was wonderful. Sashimi was super fresh and sweet. Loved their Miso Black Cod and snow crab tacos. Service was great and nicely paced. Wish my beautiful sake was served in a pretty sake cup and tiny sake carafe to keep it super chilled instead of whiskey snifter (it gets warm quickly especially during warm summer days like this) but nevertheless the overall experience was great. My waitress, Valerie (?), was super friendly and loved how she explained the food. Would love to come back for sure 💕
