Salmon w olives out of this world!
Excellent cheerful service and the meal was perfect.
Wonderful setting in the Westin La Paloma. We only had drinks but the service was fantastic.
We ate our Thanksgiving dinner at Azul. It’s a beautiful setting with views of the Catalinas. The service staff was excellent. The white meat of the turkey was moist a delicious and the potatoes and gravy were good. The dark meat couldn’t have been more dry. The cornbread stuffing was dry and below average in taste. The one little slice of sweet potato was dry. The asparagus was not done. The pumpkin pie was average. So, as you can see, half the meal was great, half of it not. I can’t recommend this restaurant.

The martini came in what looked like a shot glass and was watered down. We ordered the salad with salmon and it came in a bowl. The bar was filled with people and no one had a mask. Shame on us for not sending both the dinner and cocktail back. Our expectations for a 5 star resort was not met.
We shared from the table d'hote option. Dinner was fabulous. We ate outside and even while 1500 drunks were conferencing (AA- no one was drinking 😉) the noise level was low. Service was beyond excellence.
Superb service, excellent food. If not for the conference adjacent to the dining area
Well done perfectly priced and great food
We have been at azul several times and we enjoy it very much, no difference this last. Food was delicious and service excelente.
The hotel was very busy with a function and the kitchen couldn’t cope
Place it beautiful but the food took over an hour to be served
Valentines dinner, it was beautiful and great service
The food was not very good- both of our meals were completely dried out, overdone and not very tasteful. We came on Valentine's Day and unless you ordered a price fix menu, it seemed to rattle the kitchen. If we were told we needed to order price fix we would have understood but this was not the case. The restaurant did handle our problem very professionally and comped one of the meals. Nonetheless- I would not go back to this restaurant nor recommend it.
I'd recommend with a few warnings. Service was strangely slow, and the meal was not timed properly. Also, I was sitting closer to the man at the table next to us than I was to my own wife across our table, with several empty tables around the restaurant. For the price, I expect a better experience. But the food was very good.
I would not recommend Azul to any of my friends. The restaurant was very noisy and the service 2as the worse I have endured in years. Once we set down at our table, we did not see a waiter for over 20 minutes.
Better yet, when we were trying to get the check, our server wan no where to be found. I am sure the the City of Tucson can do much better.
The view is amazing and service was great!
Service excellent but food was marginal. Bland.
My best friend and I were celebrating her birthday and had absolutely wonderful service!
The service was fantastic. Our server made a remarkable recommendation and the food was hot and superb
Very disappointing overall. The service we expected from a beautiful resort such as this on a holiday was abysmal, although they were very kind. The selection of a brunch was also disappointing. We had fond memories of past experiences but will choose another place next time.
Wow, never been more disappointed. There was nothing negative about the service that was the only part that was fine. The food was horrible. It reminded me of cafeteria food. 2 green beans with mashed potatoes and a sliced carrot with mid-grad meat for $40 plus dollars??? The place was kept at sub-zero temperatures. I was so uncomfortable the entire meal. My guest had a coat and they were shivering. When you spend a lot of money to stay at a resort, the food needs to match the experience.
Met friends for dinner. Calamari tasted like rubber. Steak was underwhelming & overpriced. I did appreciate that many of the entrees can be ordered as half orders and are priced appropriately. We will not return.
We had a wonderful meal with excellent service. I only wish there was a way to make the restaurant feel more cozy and separate from the lobby. Even with the addition of a small space heater- it was chilly/cold environment.
Service was impeccable!!!
Restaurant in hotel lobby. Food good. Service & seating atmosphere just ok.
Went for Christmas Day dinner, and the food was standard cafeteria food. It was good, but not special for the $65 prix fix menu. The views of the Catalina mountains were outstanding.
Was disappointed this year. We were packed in which made it hard to go back and forth to the buffet. The prime rib was delish but the rest of options were so so. The shortcake with strawberries was very good. But no chocolate choices. They did some Mexican food choices but I don’t to pay they buffet price for Mexican. The coffee wasn’t premium. Probably won’t go back next year.
Service was friendly and efficient. Food was very good, except the beef roast was tough and overcooked.
Horrible and over priced. Not much food and food was cold and not flavorful. Very very disappointed and felt as if I wasted $171 on something that I could’ve gotten at a fast food place. Wouldn’t recommend.
Very nice holiday buffet. We enjoyed the experience.
Very nice choice for Christmas brunch. Lovely wait staff and elegant setting.
The Christmas brunch was everything we could've asked for. The views were spectacular, and the buffet offering was over the top. Great variety of food offerings, and it was all delicious. Service was prompt and welcoming, never letting my Bottomless Mimosa get to the bottom! Will definitely be coming back.
It was very disappointing. The set up did not create a festive atmosphere for a holiday brunch. It was spread out in too many spaces. The food was very institutional. I was hoping for more but I will probably try it again not on a holiday or event to judge it as a restaurant.
I specifically called to ask about a Sunday Brunch. Had to call hotel main number, no one answered repeated calls to the Azul number. Was told yes have Sunday Brunch. Went yesterday, no longer have a Sunday brunch. Set menu. Not what expected. Web site confusing also. Left and went else, felt I was misled. State it for what it is on Web site. Very disappointed, seems very cheap with what other resorts do.
My husband and I made a reservation at Azul to celebrate our anniversary. The only service we received after 20 minutes was from the busboy who poured our water. I spoke to the manager who apologized and promised a wait person immediately. After another 10 minutes we left. When we claimed our car from the valet, he promised to share our experience with hotel management but we have not heard a word from them. This was a thoroughly disappointing experience.
We had dinner here o. THURS night and it was excellent. Our waitress Andrea was perfect. Food was fabulous. Service was prompt friendly and so perfect. Went back Sat for bday dinner. Service was almost non existent. Food was delivered but then we literally didnt see anyone (for water etc) until bill came. Very disappointing. Restaurant was not busy so it was difficult to understand why such a drop in service. Kudos to Andrea!!!
Loved the views - had a quiet table by window. It was mid week and only parties going on in upstairs lounge so it was nice for our dining. It would have been more elegant if there were tablecloths on the tables. Drinks are a little pricey.
Overall had a good time, service was the best. Anna was our waitress!
Tyler has an awesome personality and had great recommendations!
