Slow Braised Lamb Shank, Roasted Spice Blend, Ginger-Garlic Tadka
Jumbo Lump Crab Simmered In Tangy-Creamy Makhni Sauce
Have been here several times over the past 10 years and have been very pleased every time with the service and the food. Highly recommended.
Food was excellent as always. Server let us know they were short staffed and apologized said that things were taking longer. However staff was very friendly, they were very busy! Still enjoyed our meal! We will be back!
We had never been to Azitra before, our experience was fantastic and the food and service was superb. We will definitely come back and bring friends and recommend it to other people!
even the desserts were excellent. The waiter was friendly and helpful.
Aashish did a fabulous job since we had four American who hadn’t tasted Indian food. We his recommendations and his service and politeness. Thanks.
The food is consistently delicious and service amazing. Try the chicken tikka Marsala!!
We love Azitra! The ambiance is beautiful, food amazing and service outstanding! They surprised us with dessert to celebrate our anniversary. Highly recommend!
Fantastic food with great flavor. We love this place!
Great food and outdoor area! Service was excellent!
I enjoyed my birthday celebration here for the third year in a row because I can never go wrong with the food and service. It was awesome. The service was amazing and the Manager was so professional. Loved loved it
Excellent food and service as usual. One of our go to places in the Triangle.
This is our go to Indian restaurant. Love the food and the service. Great for date night or an evening out with friends/business colleagues.
Food was excellent! The server was amazing! I will eat here every day if I could.
Two ex-colleagues, who hadn't met for years had a lot to talk about. The wait staff were exemplary in their patience and gentle prodding. The food didn't disappoint (I'd been there multiple times before), the drinks selection is outstanding as ever. Their menu has not only typical indian fare but also a large number of unusual dishes; crab masala and mutton soup to name but two. The octopus tadka was sublime as was the makhmali lamb.
I’ve eaten here at least 20 times. I’m not sure if this is a very new wait staff, and if there are different chefs also. Food was over cooked and it took quite a bit of time to receive drinks, as the servers were not visiting our table with any frequency.
Azitra is a great place. The wait staff has always been friendly and accommodating.
The service is prompt.
Their outdoor seating can be a little noisy due to proximity to the main road for the shopping area they're located in but that's really my only complaint and it's a minor one.
This is my first time dining at an Indian Restaurant and it was the best! The waiter was incredibly helpful in helping my wife and I navigate the menu and offer suggestions to find the best authentic options for us. He even asked about food allergies and sensitivity. They have many gluten free options btw. I instructed the waiter that I did not like spicy food and he helped educated me on what spicy was at a true authentic meal and I appreciated that info. There's quite the difference between American spicy and Indian spicy. Indian spicy is flavorful and good and not overbearing. American spicy is just hot and uncomfortable to me. We both ordered lamb dishes (different ones) and they were delicious. We tried each others and the waiter actually picked the best dishes for us each as I liked mine more and she liked hers more. He even directed us towards his favorite appetizer, the tawa scallops. They were melt in your mouth good and the best I've ever had. My wife had the Lamb Kozhambu and I had the Lamb Shank. Both were so flavorful and so tender. My wife added broccoli to her dish and it was cooked perfectly. I have to say I was nervous at first and put at ease by the waiter and pleasantly surprised after my dining experience. We will certainly go back!
I dream about this place whenever I’m away. You will not be disappointed, great wine selection, great service and people, nice ambience.
Addicted to the chicken tikka masala, can never order anything else and I’ve tried.
Our first time eating Indian food. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was great! Will definitely be back!
This was a repeat visit, our food was all cooked to perfection, the sauces this restaurant uses are one of a kind. The staff are very informed as to how every dish is made and they are always coming up with something new and have great recommendations. This is truly a must try, We sat outside for the first time and was very nice, quiet and tables were spaced nicely for privacy.
We hadn’t been to Azitra for probably 2 years and were missing the brunch. The food quality has stayed the same but the service has gone down.
Food is top notch, extremely delicious and fresh. The service however is just okay. The waiters and host were not very welcoming or expressive or even reactive to any of our small chit chat/banter. No one was mean or rude at all just kind of blah.
That being said we will definitely be back more often because the food and ambiance are fantastic.
Poor service. Brought appetizers and then we had to wait for plates and then silverware. No apology. They forgot our drinks and then didn’t apologize.
Good food, great ambiance. The wine list was very extensive with lots of options. The service is always good been there about ten times. It is a little pricey but the ambiance sets it apart from other Indian restaurants I’ve been to in the Raleigh area.
Lovely place and decor. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. Bartenders were great.
The lighting is low and the ambiance very nice.
This was my first time eating Indian food and it will not be the last. Everything about the restaurant experience was on-point. The food and atmosphere was phenomenal.
Love their craft cocktails. So creative, and great variety.
Appetizer and both of our entrees were excellent.
Wonderful as always. Great complex favors with the right amount of heat.
We enjoyed our meal at Azitra. We felt that it took a bit long before the server returned to take our order and also we waited quite awhile for the server to pick up our payment.
Great food and atmosphere!
Great patio for outdoor dining. Great food and service.
We loved the patio dining. Due to a landscaped, high, earth "wall", you would never know that a busy street was right beside their patio. And most importantly, the food was excellent!!
Azitra has become our favorite restaurant. The waiter is personable and takes time with us. The food and drinks never disappoint.
Awesome food service and atmosphere
I enjoyed dining here. The food was incredible and service was superb.
Azitra is probably the best vegetarian friendly restaurant in the Triangle. The Kofta Anarkali is one of those dishes that makes you aware of flavors that are not always on our radar.
price for glass of wine seems high...food is always very good and presentation is outstanding.
Consistently good! Food was delicious. Service by Raj was exceptional. Being used to great indian restaurants in Glasgow - this is a home from home! Thankful! Hope to return again very soon!
Server Raj was incredible as a server but went above and beyond by finding a cushion for my elderly Mom to sit on. Amazing.
Very nice restaurant which we frequent pretty often. The sauces used in their entrees are very tasty. Thr samosas are not as good as. Other restaurants and their Nan is also 2nd rate. For special occasions, the restaurant does a nice job of creating the special ambiance - for us it was a nice piece of cake with garnish.
