Azitra - Broomfield Ratings and Reviews
We were very impressed with the delicious Indian cuisine, nice wine and beer selections, lovely atmosphere, and delightful wait staff. I’ve been enjoying local Indian restaurants for years, and when I find one that’s this great I go back many times! Looking forward to my next meal at Azitra!
Appetizers, Gobhi Manchurian and Chaat of the day, both amazing. I usually order the Chicken Tikka Masala but decided to venture out this time and tried the Chicken Hariyali that had a creamy cashew sauce. It was incredible, equally as good as the Masala. A friend shared a bite of the Lamb Patia, the flavors of this were also very flavorful. I will try other dishes in the near future, since I didn't know what I was missing by always doing the same one. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Always fresh, flavorful and as spicy as you want it made.
My wife and I have been looking for a new go-to Indian restaurant, and were very impressed with Azitra. The menu featured classic dishes we're used to seeing and some creative twists. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was also great. We'll be eating here a lot.
Everyone should try the cauliflower appetizer! The food was good, but the service was very slow. After recommending a dish and saying that if we weren't happy with it, she would replace it, but she never once came back or checked on our table. And we had to track down our server for our bill
Great Indian cuisine at a great price. Excellent menu with good selection of wines. Being South African, I know what good curry is and Azitra is simply 5 stars. Food presentation was brilliant. This is a real gem in Broomfield and those with an appetite for true Indian cuisine should definitely try Azitra. You won't regret it, I promise!
Excellent spot for Indian. The food was delicious and service was excellent. I only have one complaint... Our waiter asked if we would like naan after bringing our food, we said yes and it wasn't until we got home that we discovered it was an extra $5 charge. That's a bit spendy for bread. I've never been to an Indian restaurant that didn't include at least a piece with an entree.
I love Indian food and this place just as much. I get it this is a fancy version, yes. But if you are looking to treat yourself into a nice dinner you might want to give this one a try. Had the chicken tiki masala delish. Also the lamb and prawns. Cocktails are also nicely crafted.
Extremely disappointed with this visit to Azitra. I had a table reserved but they made us wait for 15 minutes despite that. I could see guests coming after us without reservations getting seated earlier. Moral of the story: Do not make reservations
I like my Indian fusion food spicy, but looks like the chefs or the waitress had a score to settle. They gave me unedible Tofu Kale with loads of fresh uncooked chilli powder on it which would probably require most patrons to be taken to ER. I could survive with prior training. Moral of the story: Ask everything to be mild and bland
My wife and I were visibly surprised when a waitress decided to grab a plate that we were eating from.yes, literally. To their credit they realized their mistake and gave us another order of the same thing. Moral of the story: Eat quickly, they will kick you out if you don't
Never going back after this harrowing experience
I have been here once before and the food was much better then. I had the lamb pepper fry that was hardly edible and tasted nothing like decent Indian food. My colleagues were not impressed either. The raita was watery as was the salty lassi. The rice was overcooked and the pappadum was not fully cooked. Among the worst Indian food I have ever had in any restaurant in the United States (I am of Indian origin and know my food quite well).
The food was fantastic and we really enjoyed it. On the downside, they were quite short-staffed that night so we waited a full hour before being served. This was unfortunate since there were many people waiting for our table. It was also incredibly noisy so that a person seated at one end of the 6-top couldn't possibly hear a person on the other end of the table. This detracted from the experience.
