Azitra - Broomfield
the food was delicious -- perfectly spiced. The chicken dishes were so tender. Vegetables were cooked to perfection Overall wonderful dinner
The food was great (especially the Chicken Tika Masala). They were also able to make Chicken Pikora that I have been searching for and craving which was not on the menu. Amazing! Service was great as well.
The food was delicious and the service was slow but good. We really enjoyed it and plan to return.
Enjoyable food, nice atmosphere, we did not have very good service.
Great birthday dinner for my husband. Food was amazing.
An excellent find for the area! Yummy shared food (lentil soup, chicken *even though only lamb was listed* vindaloo, chicken madras, rice, garlic naan, paratha, wine). Friendly service, wonderful waitress/waitstaff. Will return if in the area again.
Each time the selections were fantastic. Wide range of vegetarian vegan and paleo choices. Extremely flavorable entrees and apoetizers - great value and best service
This was a great dining experience so much so I plan to return the same week before departing - it was as good as any restaurants we visited for meals in Denver or Boulder. The service and attention to our needs was superb and I would highly recommend to a visitor or local diner.
Top 3 Indian Restaurant I’ve been to. Had their coconut curry and substituted chicken for salmon. It was excellent - very flavorful and served hot. The green salad was fresh and with high quality produce. The hotel staff at the nearby Residence Inn wasn’t aware of this restaurant, so it seems to be a best-kept secret... but more people should know about it. Family and business meal friendly. My only issue was that service was a little slow, but to be fair, I was alone for a business meal and looking to dine quickly.
Food was outstanding and flavorful, staff went out of their way to accommodate our heart healthy diet requests!
The food at Azitra is always delicious! We've been there several times over the years. The meats are tender (veggies are good, too) and the sauces are yummy. The traditional and modern dishes are all worth a try because the chef's cooking methods bring out the subtle flavors of the spices. They have some fun drinks and appetizers, too. If you're going to be in the north part of town, you should try this place.
So we went back to Azitra to give it another try and it did not disappoint. The waiter was very attentive and gave us good advice as to what to order. The GM checked on our table and had some great wine pairings from the Friday night wine tasting dinner. I had the Chicken Madras which had great flavor and the chicken was so tender. The waiter suggested the lamb shank for my husband and omg it was to die for. So good! This place has great cocktails and an extensive wine list as well. We will definitely be back!! Yum!
I come to Azitra often. Amazing food, top notch service, will be back again and again!
It's not often you find a good happy hour at an Indian restaurant, but you will find it here! Great prices on small happy hour plates and interesting cocktails. Service was excellent and the hostess made us feel at home. I'm a fan.
Great meal. Lamb chops and peshwari Lamb were excellent. Cauliflower florets for appetizer are very good. Like previous visits, the food was great.
Azitra is my go to Indian restaurant when I travel to Denver or Boulder. Top 5 Indian restaurant in the country in my opinion. Never disappoints!
Never disappointed in the food or service here. We love it!
The Indian food is the best in Denver and the wine list is extensive and reasonably priced.
Great food great staff
I tried a different entree than I had on my first visit. The salmon mahkni was excellent. As always you must order the garlic naan as it is too good to miss.
We love the food at Azitra but wish the service was faster. The servers are kind but slow. It's a hard decision to go out to eat there with children because we never know how long it will take to have a meal in front of them. If you have the time to wait it's a good meal but for families it might not be ideal.
Everything was amazing! From the food to the drinks to the service, this place is officially on my must list for when people come to visit.
First time here and the service was terrible. The only thing we could count on was water! It took forever to get someone to acknowledge the table let alone take our order. I will say the food was all really good! Everything did come out hot and was delicious. Not sure if there was a problem with wait staff but the kitchen did excellent. Will try it again. The restaurant was packed so maybe the wait staff was overwhelmed.
Hi Linda, The Azitra Team would like to apologize. This was not the type of experience we'd like you to have. Friday night was busier than expected. A few of our team members were not able to work, & some working when you visited are still being trained. We'd like to invite you in for a better experience: our GM would personally attend to your table & we'd cover a portion of the meal. We'd appreciate the opportunity to earn your trust. Please email manager@azitra --we'd love to see you again.
Azitra provided us with an astonishingly delicious meal. We ordered a mixed kabob sampler as an appetizer, garlic naan (so good!), then vegetarian tikka masala and malabari goat. My mouth still waters when recollecting these dishes. We've never tasted Indian dishes as good as this and we have visited India several times. It is worth the drive. My distance was a 50 mins. drive. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
The service was erratic, slow and a bit confused. I can understand why it takes a bit of time to make such delicious food, but they seem confused about who our waiter was and we spent a long time wondering what was going on with their service department. We had read a previous review complaining about the service, so know that it seems to be an ongoing issue with Azitra.
If they tightened up this part, they'd have a perfect review. Even so , the food is so delicious I am overlooking the shoddy service and happily anticipating my next visit there.
An excellent place to take that special someone for a nice romantic dinner. Great food, great wine and great service!!!
Great food and service! The cauliflower appetizer is the best.
Delicious interpretations of classic Indian dishes. Not crazy, but distinct from your usual buffet, full of flavors, depth of spice profile, and some dishes I haven't seen before. Not to mention the tequila cocktail with tamarind was mind blowing. Highly recommend the cauliflower appetizer
Very delightful evening! Service a bit on the slow side and waiter almost too soft spoken. Neither of these observations diminished the very nice experience!
My wife and I have made Azitra our Valentine's Day spot for the past three years. This year, they went with a 3 course (appetizer, entree, and dessert) prix fixe meal, simplifying their menu and ordering. Reserving our table almost a week in advance was easy with OpenTable on their Google search result. The food is always AMAZING, and they're vegan/vegetarian options are delicious and plentiful. We've yet to try any of their wines, so I can't comment on that. Our only nitpick is that service is slower than we'd prefer. Definitely recommend though!
The food is delicious and outstanding as is the service.
We have been frequent visitors to Azitra as the services and food are very excellent. Since we opt for Vegan/Vegetarian selections, they takes care of our needs.
We have been going to Azitra for the past couple of years and unfortunately we won't be returning. Over the years, there has been a decline in food quality and service ~
The very best eggplant bharta I have had in the US. Azitra also spices the food appropriately for "real" Indian food. Thank you!
The food was amazing. I ordered brunch since I'm not super familiar with Indian cuisine and each dish was fantastic. It was a great way to try a few different dishes. The restaurant itself is beautiful. I will definitely go back. I went there during the day so it wasn't too busy but I bet it gets pretty busy for dinner.
Food was Very good and the service was great
Love this restaurant. Love it. The food is beyond great.
On the service side, not so great. they seem to hire untrained, raw help. They're like puppies. They want to do well, but they haven't been shown how. And it's a different group of servers every time i go there. which obviously hasn't stopped me. But that keeps them from getting the best ratings. I hate to be nervous about my server.
Wonderful service and great food! A little expensive but perfect for a special event!
Upscale Indian. Service was slow at first but food came out promptly. Great wine list, but most bottles were pretty pricey. Food was very very good. Cauliflower appetizer was delicious!
Azitra is our favorite place for Indian. Although, we tend to stick with the Chicken Tikka Masala, our family favorite, everything we’ve tried has been good. The food is fresh, free of dyes and unwanted preservatives. The service is unmatchable too.
