Azie on Main Ratings and Reviews
Food was fantastic, great menu! We couldn’t get out until late and it was open until 11pm on a Friday so it was a relief to find good food at 10pm. My only gripes were the confusing location and the hostess had an attitude and was less than welcoming. Other than that everything was awesome, will return.
I love Azie and I have visited many times. The food is always great and the service is usually good. But this time was quite disappointing.
The brunch server, whom has been our server many other times, was anything but welcoming. I asked for a pomegranate mimosa, which he repeated, yet served me a regular mimosa. It was ok but he seemed to not like it when I pointed out I ordered a different kind. I told him it was fine and I would drink it but he was clearly not fond of our presence for the rest of our visit, even though we did not bother him in any way.
The other server did not care to mind her voice tone. We clearly heard every word of her conversation with our server. They were at the bar, which is located across the room from our table, yet we heard every single word she said. It is quite unpleasant to compete with other people’s conversations, let alone the people working in establishments we are customers of.
Hopefully next time our server will be in a better mood and the other server will remind herself that it’s a restaurant and not a park.
The chairs are way too old and saggy. The white table cloth should have been replaced years ago. It was so full of lint from all the washings that several of us with black clothing were horrified and annoyed at all the lint that got on us! The food was very yummy, but the restaurant should replace the table linens and possibly the chairs!
We eat at Azie on Main regularly, but this happened to be a date night with my wife. Excellent food, as always. Service was okay. It was a little loud, and there happened to be a good amount of young children eating near us despite eating a late dinner. However, we always enjoy Azie on Main (excellent food, including sushi and other Asian fusion dishes), and will definitely continue to eat there.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the Sunday brunch was a good spread of Asian and American food that was delicious. However we were seated in the main dining area, and it was very warm and uncomfortable to eat. It was crowded and I felt the tables were too close to each other. My glass of water did not get refilled unless asked. The sushi was good, but the trays were not regularly refilled. I feel the service could have been better.
Not a fan of buffet style dining but the expansive and interesting offerings on this table can overcome that bias! With beef filet, tilapia, chicken, assorted rice and noodle dishes along with usual brunch choices there are plenty of opportunity to over indulge. Added bonus of sushi, various rolls and nice dessert table assure an enjoyable experience.
Our first time dining at Azie. Food was very good. Good wine list. The party 2 tables from us were extremely loud which was annoying but other than that we had a good dining experience.
I would definitely recommend getting a booth for more privacy and less noise. We will request that the next time.
We were really disappointed with our meal. The sushi was of poor quality, the portions were skimpy and the rolls were tasteless. The fried rice had an inch of grease in the bottom of the bowl. The service was prompt but indifferent. And it was expensive! We will not return.
Consistently excellent quality of food. I have had many meals at this comfortable place where you can carry on conversation easily with well prepared dishes of all types on the menu: wonderful salads, fish, sushi, and meat. Outdoor dining is possible as well.
Last minute dinner out with my son who had a craving for Pad Thai. He thoroughly enjoyed the Pad Thair, while I enjoyed my saki and perfectly cooked salmon teriyaki. Our waiter was very attentive and we enjoyed his suggestion of edamame to share while our meals were prepared.
A really nice outing! I'd do it again...
