Azie in Media
This is my third visit to Azie and unlike my usual eateries Ive tried a new dish every visit. Their sushi rolls are fresh, delicious and creatively curated. The drinks are fantastic and OMG the dessert!
We love Azie. The food is always great and so is the service. The atmosphere is very pleasant
The food was excellent, but the service was slow and inattentive. We did not receive one of the items we ordered. We asked about it and it was kind of brushed off by the waiter. We sat without drinks for long periods of time and it took a very long time to get the check. The cocktails were okay, but overpriced.
The food was delicious as always, but the speed of delivery was a bit on the slow side this evening. One meal came out a little on the cool side. It wasn’t supposed to be cool. The Kobe beef and cream crab appetizers were excellent, scallops delicious but the serving of clam chowder bread pudding was disappointingly small. Tempura shrimp and Seabass were wonderful.
Bar area was very loud; drinks were not great!; food was not as good as usual. However, our party had a good time!
Food is always good, but noise is very loud when place is full. Good sushi!
Great menu selection with superb flavors, and excellent presentation. Service was excellent.
Everything was delicious! Fresh and flavorful! Service was superb as well!
Great meal no wait, excellent service
Terrific fresh sushi, with innovative specialty rolls, in an understated but beatiful setting in the heart of Media. Excellent cocktail program. Attentive, professional service. Could not have been more pleased with dinner on a quiet Sunday night.
Girls dinners here are always fun! Was even more relaxing Dining Under the Stars this time and our waiter Kyle was excellent!!
Disappointing. Food was mediocre. Service was good and ambiance was very nice. Unlikely to return.
Who knew there was a good Japanese restaurant in Media? Very good 9 piece sashimi sampler. The tempura calamari was tasty, although it really wasn't what I expect from tempura, an extremely light coating with some of the calamari showing through. It was more like an american fried batter than the airiness of Japanese tempura. Creme brulee was delicious. The Wednesday night outside dining is a great night out.
Excellent. The waygu is amazing.
A really nice restaurant with an amazing staff this place is great for a couples night out!
The sushi chef EJ went out and beyond with the sushi selection. She is amazing 😊
My wife and I go to Azie for a good dinner when we don’t want to go into Philly. Our favorite cuisine is Japanese. Especially sushi for my wife and sashimi for me. The sashimi had been a great selection of fresh fish, on a decent quantity, served with creative garnishes over crushed ice. I ordered sashimibthis time and it came out on a relatively barren white dish with what seemed to be less fish and no creativity. The fish was OK but the level of taste was less than it had been. Either the chef changed or the owners decided to reduce their costs. Either way it was less than expected in multiple ways.
The crispy calamari salad my wife and I shared, as well as the glazed tempura style shrimp weee excellent and in good quantity. I ordered one glass of wine and it was a stingy pour. But they have always been light on their pours by the glasss.
Dinner was good but less than expected. I had higher hopes based on many previous experiences. Therefore I can’t give it more than an overall good rating.
Casual, fresh food served on the upper deck outdoor patio—very relaxing and enjoyable!
I would have rated this brunch as excellent in the past. On this most recent experience, it seems they are cutting corners with less selection/quality on the buffet, staff was slow to replenish items, and omelet station chef was missing 3 out of 4 times I approached the buffet. Decor is also in need of updating/repair (e.g., seats ripped, tables scratched). Sad to see this great brunch spot going downhill.
Amazing, like always! Our favorite spot in Media.
Food was very good but the noise level was deafening. Poor restaurant design with all hard surfaces and no sound absorbing whatsoever. The noise level seriously detracted from the overall dining experience
Waitress was great and food was amazing! Will definitely be back.
Best brunch in town!!! We love Azie for sushi, but decided to pop by for brunch because we've heard good things. This brunch buffet was beyond delicious and our expectations...AMAZING!!! By far the best french toast I have ever had, which I totally did not expect. It is so worth the money, but definitely go hungry!
We were seated in a nook in the rear that made conversation pleasant. All throughout the noise was not at a comfortable level for us so we were grateful to be in the rear section. The food was delicious, especially the rolls and the tuna tartare. The pad tai needed a bit more zing. We had good ice cream for dessert. It was an enjoyable evening.
Celebrated a special birthday and was not disappointed. Handcrafted drinks were fun and delicious. The beef egg rolls and calamari appetizers were delicious as were the scallops.
We always have a great meal and experience at Azie!
Dining under stars on the rooftop deck. Black bass special extraordinarily special. Careful what angle you sit early evening in the sun, challenge to position oneself vis a bus awnings. But all in all, great selections for all.
Food was just okay this time. I’ve been here a bunch of times and this wasn’t memorable. Still a good sushi place.
Good food and will definitely return for another meal. Enjoyable
Great food, drinks and service from Katerina. Thanks for a great night out
consistently top of their game. one of the best restaurants in media. always fresh, always delicious, love this place
Loved it like we always do!
Device was great and the food was delicious.
Great food, great staff
Great visit, outside seating & perfect weather. Excellent service and food. All around great visit.
Food, service and atmosphere were all very good but there was a party of 12 seated in the middle of the room. This brought the already high noise level to an uncomfortable octave. We couldn't hear what the server was saying to us when she checked back at our table and couldn't hear each other very well either. The waitress apologized for the noise level without our mentioning it first. We enjoyed our evening out much more before the large table arrived. They should put a large group like that in their own area, especially when drinks are involved making everyone louder. On the plus side, the Volcano roll, mashed sweet potatoes, miso soup, salad and diver scallops were all delicious. The brussel sprouts were a little under cooked but we each had a wonderful glass of wine and raspberry sorbet. Our waitress was also excellent. The noise level will effect our decision about going back most likely choosing a quieter place.
First time here, thought food was just average for the price. Restaurant is very noisy. Not sure if I would rush back here with other good options for sushi in the area.
Best restaurant in DELCO. Consistently great food and service. Superior management.
Excellent service and outstanding dinners. Flavorful and presented well.
