Azie in Media
Food was really good great vibe good service.
We love Azie! They have an awesome Happy hour and the food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is attentive and Bob, the GM goes out of this way to allow you to have an enjoyable dining experience.
Overall all was good, given that it is a Monday in the early new year.
The service needs a little more training and timing of the courses. I have been there several times, so I know that it was an unusual thing.
I was disappointed after coming here many times. When booking reservation I was not aware that a fun day reservation could only be made for brunch. The food selections were average the meatballs were raw inside. They were out of items and the desserts were average in taste. Having not been to Azie in a few months, I was quite surprised at this experience. Not the norm of what I’ve had in the past. They should specify on OT that Sunday lunch is actually only a brunch buffet in the future.
We always go to Azie in Media and the food and service are usually excellent except for last night. Our server was more concerned with the clearing the plates than with the customers. We each ordered a drink. My drink was too strong but no one checked to see how everything was from food, to drinks, and even appetizers. My husband wanted to order another drink but we could never get the waiters attention. My order came correct but my husband ordered the special surf and turf but was given the toben yaki surf and turf. When my husband asked about the order, the waiter said sorry and didn’t try to fix the mistake. At the end of the meal, the waiter cleared the table and I told him my drink was terrible. He took it off the bill but I was never given the opportunity to order anything else. Overall, our server was not attentive and not apologetic for his ordering error. I was disappointed for the first time at Azie Media.
Wonderful as always!!
Had a great meal on New Year's Eve. First up was some sushi; the special chrysanthemum roll was one of the best rolls we've ever had. The yellowtail was very fresh, too. All the sushi was excellent. For dinner, the bibimbap was superb and their fried rice is so fresh tasting. Azie really is excellent!
Had a very nice new years eve lunch, good food and service, nice window seat on a sunny afternoon. Sushi and rolls were great especially the scallops and red snapper.
Azie is a ‘hit or miss’ type place, of you catch the right chef your meal will be out of this world, if you catch an off night it will be mediocre at best. I recommend this place but just know you may be disappointed if you expect a perfect meal.
The sea bass was amazing and our server could not have been more pleasant!
Always a wonderful dining experience. Food and atmosphere make for a wonderful evening with friends.
Delicious as always and the lunch deals are amazing!
Their sushi and sea bass is awesome. Service is hit or miss. The bar is always great.
Amazing delicious brunch
It was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and the ambiance was good as well!
Went for my boyfriends birthday and had the best experience! This was our second time there and we will absolutely be back!
Azie is a very comfortable restaurant and the food choices are quite varied so that you can always find something you feel like eating or trying for the first time. It is one of my favorite restaurants.
Good food, but took awhile to come out. Staff was friendly, the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable.
It was just ok, nothing was outstanding. And I think the price went up
One our families favorites!
Always a good meal and the staff is friendly and accommodating!
Excellent, innovative dishes. We very much enjoyed our early dinner
Great overall, loved it.
My fiance and I pick Azie for date night may once a month or so. We normally love their sushi. Sometimes their service can be a bit slow, but the food is normally on point. Unfortunately, this past weekend was the below par. Our food came out missing a roll, which wasn't a huge deal but the seafood was bad. It was restaurant week in Media, so I am wondering if they bulk ordered their seafood and come Saturday the food started to turn. Hopefully this won't happen again, or we will find another place to pay for sushi.
Everything was great except for the bartender with the glasses. It took forever to get a drink/service and when he did acknowledge us it seemed like we were bothering him
We enjoyed our visit. We go here for happy hour a lot and they have great deals. Their pomegranate margarita is my favorite. We came in the other night and learned that it was restaurant week so we decided to do that. It was delicious and a great choice. I will say though the service is very slow (the servers are always super nice and try their best but I feel like they give them too many tables that they are always backed up). I think they need to add another service in the cocktail area, it’s too much for one server to handle that many tables. We go there often and unfortunately most times we suffer with slow service, but the food and happy hour deals are so good that we take the negative with the positives.
We came to the restaurant not realizing it was restaurant week in Media, so dined upstairs rather than in the downstairs dining room. The restaurant was very crowded with large parties and staffing seemed a bit light, so there were longer waits than usual, probably due to the unexpected volume. Food was excellent although the sushi (nigiri) looked as if it was made by an amateur and was quite sloppily prepared. The prix fixe was a great bargain and the appetizers and entrees were excellent.
Experience at the bar was awful.
Both bartenders totally ignored us fir at least 10 minutes.
Finally after my husband shouted excuse me , they said one of them would get us. An additional ten minutes went by. One bartender continued just chatting with two couples. Specialty drink ordered was awful - ingredients were missing. Drink filled only half the glass. When I questioned, he topped it with something else. Left entire drink on the bar when we went to our table. Very disappointing as we tend to be regular diners at your restaurant. We will wait awhile before visiting again.
Frequent customer since opening. Azie used to be a delco gem with a unique atmosphere, interesting menu and attentive wait staff. Over the past few years I've noticed a decline but thought maybe I was being overly critical. My visit on Saturday will probably be my last. The crowd has become more casual which is a reflection of the decline in quality. As far as first impressions, Azie is showing it's age. Rips in chairs, sticky floors, broken fixtures in the dirty bathroom & stained/ripped menus. Server was attentive (this time), the wine was excellent, draft was flat. The food was meh. I've ordered the same thing multiple times so I know when it's on and it was off. Portions were smaller, supposed to be hot items were room temperature, presentation was underwhelming. The menu never changes, the specials are anything but and the whole vibe just isn't what it used to be. I would love to see a revamp of the menu & an update of the facilities to bring new life back to this once favorite restaurant.
Our second visit to Azie and just as good as the first. The sushi was great, fresh and well presented. A little odd that some seaweed salad didn’t come as part of the dish and was a $7 side. Others had scallops which were perfectly prepared. Cocktails were creative and delicious. I recommend.
The food is always good and the service is just great.
I think our server was Jan and she was excellent.
Waitress was great and food excellent!
Really, a fantastic job! I had the tempura shrimp; my wife had the glazed salmon. Both were perfectly done with excellent sides. I forgot to present my OpenTable certificate; I came back later and they took care of it. Just an overall, outstanding experience! And great service too; Attentive but not hovering.
Eric gave us very good service for delicious lunches.
Azie has such delicious food, I cannot say enough things about how amazing the meal was. Will be going back for sure.
My husband and I had dinner at Azie Media. Our server Sean was friendly, attentive, and efficient. I am a celiac and Sean was very knowledgeable about the items I could eat, what could be modified, and what was not an option. We both ordered the special (Filet Mignon with Foie Gras) and it was honestly the best meal I’ve had in recent memory.
Watching the sun go down on the rooftop dining was picture perfect. The food was outstanding, one of the best places on DELCO . Our server Hanna and the staff was on top of everything. We will definitely be recurring customers.
Azie is definitely one of my favorite places to dine!! The food is always consistent, and dare I say, it even gets better every time!! My only complaint would be that they keep it extremely cold, but I understand the staff is running around to make the experience top notch!!
Food is very good at Azie. This night, service was very slow, they may have been under staffed. We weren’t in a rush, so it was not a problem.
