The menu offers selections combining the rich, creamy sauces and hearty meats of Brescia with the fresh seafood and the delicate fruits and vegetables of Amalfi. Once inside, an 18-foot, gently curving mahogany ceiling serves as the blossom connecting the fine woodcarving of the front and side dining rooms and bar area. Georgia O'Keeffe's flower series surrounds guests as they choose from Azalea's distinctive menu and extensive wine list.

I enjoyed my meal at Azalea. Loved the hazelnut gelato. Service was good too!
Excellent service and food at a reasonable price. We had the Caesar salad, branzino, spinach salad, and seafood pasta. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The wines were very good and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Great location.
Love the food was delicious and service was excellent
Great service with a manger that know his wines. Wonderful evening!
This place is great! Services are excellent and food is so delicious!
The food was wonderful and the staff was attentive. Would happily eat there again!
Excellent. Food was delicious. Staff was accommodating, made some fantastic drinks.
Service was excellent, and the food was delicious.
They're not open
It was just ok. Service was good but the food was nothing special. We tend to rotate through the same restaurants when in the city so we wanted to try somewhere new. We were seeing Wicked, (again, lol) at the Gershwin so we thought it was a good opportunity to try it. We will not keep it on our list of places we frequent in the city. Too many other much better restaurants in the city.
Excellent food. Attentive service and pleasant atmosphere
Went to see a play Wicked. So had lunch here first and OMG the food was amazing. And the service was just as great.
Clean and the bathroom was very clean. Great place , we will be back.
We were going to see Wicked and saw that Azaleas was right next door so thought we’d give it a try.
Was unsure of how it would be based on the mixed reviews, but any uncertainty was immediately gone as soon as we walked through the door. The restaurant is small and cozy with a nice ambiance. We were promptly seated and drink orders were taken (try the Italian Margarita). We ordered the Mozzarella Caprese for appetizer which came served as a ‘tower’ of nice red ripe tomato slices, with thick slices of mozzarella drizzled with olive oil. For dinner, my husband ordered the gnocchi (which were to die for) and I ordered the butternut squash ravioli (which was awesome).
Tiramisu for dessert was also great. Service and attention was perfect throughout! Highly recommend for a great meal.
Very good food, outstanding service. A great find in the theater district.
Food was good, well seasoned but all three meals came out warm to cold, meat and vegetables. Unacceptable in my opinion.
Excellent food and service. We will definitely return for dinner.
Great pre theater restaurant. Very accommodating with changes - like a low sodium diet!
Good place for a nice lunch. The service was excellent and the food was very good. The restaurant was very quiet.
Awesome waiter. Unfortunately everything else was horrible. Got sick from food, poor wine selection by the glass, the bathroom was dirty, smelly and had garbage over flowing. Will never go back.
The food was delicious (scallopini, lasagna, ravioli with mushrooms, endive/pear salad, minestrone), service excellent. Most noise came from 3 very vocal persons at the table next to us but ended when they left. We'll be back.
Met an out of town friend for a late lunch. Service was perfect, food was very good.
The service was wonderful. They were friendly, accommodating. The doors was excellent. Mushroom risotto was fabulous. Price fix menu did not have choices we were interested in so we ordered off the regular menu. I would definitely return! Was a great NYC experience!
Wonderful pre theater or not. Food, ambiance and service are all superb!
The food was excellent. The staff was attentive but not intrusive. It’s located close to Lincoln Center, where we were headed and the Theater District but seems a cut above the usual pre-theater restaurants.
My only complaint was that we had to ask for the lunch pre fixe menu. That was one reason I chose this place because it was on their menu on line. Everything else was great and it is right next door to the theater....win win!
Always a delightful place to eat. Food is wonderful and ambiance is lovely!
This was the birthday trip my daughter was looking forward too! We stayed over night in New York, dined at Azalea’s and then went to see the play Wicked. Everyone at the restaurant was nice and the service was impeccable. All staff were attentive and served my family delicious food.
I arrived early for my reservation and the staff was very nice. They were not opening for another 40 minutes but they sat me at the table, provided a menu and water! As it was cold outside I very much appreciated this.
Perfect meal before the theatre! Service outstanding. Food really good. Best cheesecake I’ve had in a long time! Would recommend to everyone!
Excellent meal and we were not rushed. Service was excellent. Tables along the end are a little too close to each other.
The food was delicious and the service was very good
The food was outstanding and it arrived very quickly. While we weren't going to the theater, it would be a great pre- or post-theater stop.
Very good place near theater district. Food is very good and comes quickly so no problem with making the theater time. Will definitely go back.
The food and services was exceptional. The best part is how centrally located it is to the theater district.
Very good service. Food was excellent and the location was very good . Right next to the Gershwin theater. Our waiter was fun and very professional at the same time. Ca t spell his name but it sounds like Nigoru . He was from Bangladesh..
My wife and I went to the Azalea restaurant after an evening at the Late Show. It was a wonderful late night find. It is cozy and intimate with good food and friendly staff. Being later than we had anticipated, we ate fairly light but the spinach salad and carpaccio were excellent. We plan to be back in NYC a few times over the next year and will be returning to the Azalea with friends.
Dinner before seeing Wicked. Very convenient. Service hit the right balance between not feeling rushed and getting everything in a timely manner. Wait staff was courteous, efficient, and attentive without being obtrusive. Food was different and delicious. Specialty drinks, Wickedtini and Mediterranean Mule, were unique and tasty.
The food was good, service was great & location was perfect: we had tixx for Wicked @2. Our reservation was at 12.
Food was prepared and served fresh and hot in a timely manner. Enjoyed the food was very tasty. Waiter was friendly. Would of liked to see a bigger variety of dishes on their menu. Overall would recommend it to others
