Ayutthaya Thai Restaurant & Bar Ratings and Reviews
The food, as usual, was very tasty and the proportions generous, even in the happy hour menu. The atmosphere was quiet and conducive to conversation. The service might have been a bit more attentive, especially given that we were practically the only customers in the restaurant. Also, I noted in the reservation that it was a birthday celebration, but there was no acknowledgment of that.
Recently had dinner at Ayutthaya to celebrate two college graduations and Father's Day. Our party of 8 was well taken care of and the food and service was excellent. All enjoyed our appetizers and dinner - to include one member of the group who is a vegetarian. highly recommended.
Please fix their open for business hours. Our reservations was for 11:00 am, but the restaurant did not open until 11:30 am. They did seat us and accommodated our reservations.
Very tasty food. We ordered extras so we could also have take out. Plan to eat there again real soon.
My partner and I had dinner here on a Friday evening with a group of friends. This was the second time we ate at Ayutthaya and we were looking forward to it after having a lovely meal last time. The restaurant has delicious renditions of much of your standard Thai fare, as well as several interesting and affordable specials. I had a fried rainbow trout filled with tasty apple/carrot/ginger salad -- it was filling and delicious. We were happy to discover that a second happy hour began at 9pm, with great drink discounts including an apple ginger cocktail to fit my meal. We'll definitely return next time we're in town!
We were recommended this place by someone at the Chiluly museum and he didn't steer us wrong. Great food, great service. Loved the pumpkin curry special, the Tom Kha was awesome. The satay was like what we learned to make in Bangkok earlier this year. Highly recommended.
My wife and I decided to try Thai in our anniversary, right when we entered a strong smell compared to cheesy feet hit us, we were about to leave but we assumed it was from all the spices used for the food so we decided to stay, we didn't like even half of what we ordered, maybe Thai is not for us.
My friend and I felt very welcome when we entered the restaurant. Neither of us had eaten here in a very long time. The food and service did not disappoint. Prices are very reasonable. Also, there are some dishes that are not typically found in other Thai restaurants locally, which is much appreciated.
Salad Rolls/shrimp/2 sauces: "A" nice fresh tasty. Crispy Garlic Chicken: "B" somewhat dry & chewy, coating excellent, too much bone & gristle. Mango Prawns: "A+" absolutely delicious! Ginger Halibut: "F" dry, tough and way overdone (not fresh?) Unpleasant fatty fishy flavor prevailed in spite of the very good sauce. Should have sent it back, but didn't... Ginger Grass cocktail: "A". Will return when back in the neighborhood.
I've been to dozens of Thai restaurants throughout the US over the years. Ayutthaya is one of the two best I have ever been to. The food is incredibly delicious, well-prepared and healthy, and the cost is so reasonable. Ayutthaya gets my highest recommendation.
Went here with my husband to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was small, simple and relaxed. The food was not quite what I expected as I've had my fair share of Thai restaurant dining. I would say the food was a bit on the bland side. Overall I'm not sure we will return here as we have had better tasting Thai food else where.
The food was great, the ambiance was nice but the service was terrible. Three of us went on a Saturday night and while we were seated right away (I had a reservation) we were barely checked on. It was even difficult to flag someone down to make our order/get the check.
The waitstaff was very friendly- but not attentive. So if you are in a hurry, I wouldn't eat here. But for leisurely dining it would be alright.
I and a group of friends were in Seattle for a weekend-long swing-dance workshop, and Ayutthaya was close to our hotel. We were able to reserve a table for 6 on short notice and they allowed us to pay with separate credit cards. The service was very good, though we had to ask for water refills a couple times. The food was just the right combination of tasty and light (we would be dancing all night). I would definitely go back.
