Excellent! Great atmosphere, great service, very fast, wonderful friendly staff, very clean and comfortable.
Average nothing special food wise. Service was good
Great place. Great food! Best sweet n sour chicken we’ve had since leaving MI 40 yrs ago!!!
Ayuttaya is the absolute best Thai food you'll find in Florida. Such a surprise to find it in Ocala!
Staff is attentive and kind, food is superb, and the ambiance is very relaxing and enjoyable. Get the Spicy Basil Tofu and the Vegetarian Rolls. You won't regret it.
If you're looking for a place for dinner, this is your spot!
Best Thai in ocala
We went yesterday and repeated today! The food? Simply delicious! And a big big plus: Sarah, our waitress!!! Next time in Ocala we’ll definitely be back to this restaurant!❤️
Excellent service and food! Highly recommendable!!!
Great staff and delicious food
Coconut ice cream is amazing
This is a pretty authentic Thai restaurant. The decor is Thai. There are mild & spicy foods on the menu with lots of choices. We all had fish this time. The service was excellent and the place was not too noisy.
The food is always wonderful our only complaint is that the portions are small.
Excellent service and meals.
It really bothered me that the gratuity was added and we were not told. this makes customers at risk for double tipping. i will not come again!
Just great, authentic Thai food in a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend it.
We drove 50 miles for our 15th anniversary. Thai is my favorite and we just don't have one near us anymore. I had a Lobster/seafood dish that was wonderful, my wife had a noodle dish, both were great. Worth the drive.
I had the curry pork and unfortunately the pork was overcooked and the vegetables on the soggy side. My wife had the pad thai and thought that it was average for thai food.
Very good atmosphere but the dish I ordered had a lot more spice than the waitress led me to believe.
Mixed about the service. Very slow for us during the visit, but this was blessing as gave us and another couple time to visit during dinner. One odd thing was that food all came out staggered, having some of us have to eat in front of the others or risk food getting cold. Rest of the experience was great, all of loved the dishes that we chose and enjoyed the evening.
My wife did Spicy basil w/ chicken Thai spicy hot. She loved it! I did bang chicken hot and it was great! low music, quiet, low lighting made the ambiance fantastic. We spoke a little Thai and complimented the chef who visited 3x. The meal was topped off with sticky banana rice which made us think we were back in Thailand even though it was 44 years ago!
If you want authentic Thai then Ayuttaya is the place to go.
We've eaten here at least a dozen times and have never been disappointed. Excellent food, service and ambiance. Pricing is reasonable as well and is an excellent overall value.
Great place to eat!!!
Christmas evening after a movie where do you go for dinner? There were not too many places open on Christmas so out of desperation I decided to try Thai food. I was very happy with my meal, all the ingredients were fresh, presentation was excellent, and the atmosphere was low key but definitely family friendly and the food was excellent!I will be going back soon and bringing my lunch group along with me.
Very happy to find authentic Thai cuisine in Ocala, although not thrilled with strip mall location. Lovely waitstaff ( actually from Thailand, and filled with smiles)! Will surely return. Tom kha gai was excellent as was the Ayuttaya duck.
The service was excellent. My meeting ran late and I called and they were very accomodating and got me right in. I had the crab rangoons and the chicken pad thai. Very flavorful with just enough spice.
Our daughter surprised Mom (and Dad too!) by taking us out for dinner at Ayuttaya Thai. This was our first visit there and we were not disappointed. The dining area was divided by wooden wall partitions into smaller sections making it feel comfortable and semi private. The service was good and we did not need to wait when in need of refills or anything. The food was well prepared and the portion sizes were just right. Mom especially enjoyed the dessert of mini doughnuts with a sweet dipping sauce. The restaurant is tucked away in a shopping plaza but worth seeking out for a good meal. We know where it is and we'll be back!
I have never had a bad thing off the menu, and they will take requests even if not on the menu. Everything from hot and sour soup to appetizers (all of them) to each main course is worth exploring. The service is always polite and accommodating. The owner and chef is very approachable and takes pride in his presentation and appeal of his creations. Most authentic Thai restaurant I have been to here in the US.
Peaceful, visually appealing, atmosphere. Very welcoming , caring knowledgeable staff. Professional, accommodating kitchen. I do not know much about Thai food. Although we enjoyed the dishes that were served, they struck me as high end Chinese food. We did order one of the sweeter Pad plates. It was really good, tender noodles and crisp veggies very flavorful. It did not bring to mind anything really new and different. The appetizer of fried calamari was done to perfection. Thai samosas , were equally enjoyable. Neither was done with distinction that prompted thinking, ok, this is Thai food. Fried bananas and coconut ice cream was exceptional and not overly sweet or heavy. But again, I could have been in a fine Jamaican restaurant. Maybe that's the point of Thai. That it's a mix of other cuisines? That's not what I expected. Still, I would go back, without hesitation.
P.s. I'm a chile head and the kitchen, upon request, hit the mark for endorphin bliss!
We dined with a friend for valentines day. Enjoyed the spring rolls as an appetizer.
My husband enjoyed a spicy duck dish. My friend had the garlic chicken. She loved all of the fresh vegetables. I had the special, a whole fried snapper. It was perfect. I ordered the sauce on the side. I choose the red curry. It was like a second meal. Service was very good for it being on a super busy night.
Food was very flavorful, hot was hot. All ingredients were fresh. Ambience was lacking. But food and service made up for it. All in all good food, reasonable prices.
We visit Ocala around 2 times a year. Never miss a chance to eat here. In fact ate here two days in a row. No matter what dish you order it will be amazing. There were 7 of us the 1st night and it was busy...but we all had our dishes in less than 20 minutes. I never get the same thing twice and it's always flavorful and prepared to perfection. Thai Tea is probably the best I've had too. Don't let the Commercial Strip Center fool ya. This place is legit!!
A seemingly inoucuous restaurant in a strip mall. But once you enter, you feel transported. The smells are wonderful. They decor and the music provide a very peaceful environment. The food? Excellent. The chef even came out to see if everything was ok. A real find.
Food is well prepared, menu is extensive, moderate prices, good atmosphere. Good place to go in Ocala
If you enjoy Thai food, this is the best place to get it outside Bangkok. The food is amazing and the ambiance is outstanding! I recommend the Combination Pad Thai with at least medium spice, it is excellent.
food and ambience is excellent... wait wait staff outstanding...highly recommended
The food was good, but the service was terrible. They would not bring the food to everyone at the same time. It was a sporadic serving. It took a really long time to get our food. We were a group of nine people.
Valentines Day we expected delays, but this was inexcusable:
There seemed to be no one in charge at the hostess stand- reservations were not honored (people who just walked in, with no reservation, were seated ahead of people with reservations who arrived on time)
Service was extremely slow
They ran out of a popular appetizer,
There were no peanuts in a dish that features peanuts.
They were out of lime- Thai food without lime?
We have eaten here many times before an had a great experience and delicious food. Valentine's Day was WAY more than they were prepared for.
The service was professional and friendly. Our dishes were excellent..
Not that it was bad but sure do miss the original owners
Nice meal. Great service. Good place for a group.
