Wonderful Thai food. Super fried rice with chicken. Great soups. Be sure to try the fried wonton appetizer - very different and good. Dessert was fantastic sticky rice with mango and we also had the bananas in a sort of puff pastry. They were great too. Service was very slow and the staff not exactly friendly. Also - they do not serve cocktails - only beer and wine, though their website says they do have alcohol. The hot tea was also good. I would go back again.
The food was okay but the service is horrible . Very rude waitress
Food was good, but service was slow.
Good food but I do not see my openable points
we walked out a few minutes after seating with just water on the table. Hostess/buswoman/waitress was in such bad mood and was alone tending to the only 4 tables with guests that we didn't even try the food.
Food was great!!
Food was fantastic. I loved the panang curry, and my husband enjoyed the pepper steak. My kids shared a chicken fried rice and declared this their "new favorite restaurant!"
Food was so delicious!
It was a nice experience. Our server was very polite and the food was very delicious. The serving size is great for the prices.
Food was great but service was so so. The waitresses didn't really seem to know what was going on when we were ordering, it was pretty frustrating and comical simultaneously. No silverware for our appetizers. Waitress was non-existent during this time. Main course was good.
Every time we visit Orlando we have to eat at this restaurant. The food is outstanding and you feel your in Thailand with the friendly staff
Very good service and food was excellent!
Our only complaint was the beef. I ordered the Drunken noodles and the beef was dry and did not taste like the quality I expected. Other than that, everything was great. The place is nicely decorated and the service was friendly.
Our services was not as friendly as last time .
The service and the food was delicious. I had pad kee Mao and the noodles were very tasty. Fresh ingredients and the spring rolls were good. The sauce on the fresh spring rolls did not have much flavor
Best Thai in Orlando. Pad Thai and Panang Curry highly recommend.
Service and food were phenomenal...Ambience for locals is great..
I wish the staff was more upfront when we arrived late to our reservation instead of making us feel as if we were a burden. We asked if it was too late to dine and were told no, but their actions told a different story when we sat. We almost decided to just pay for our drinks and leave once we were seated. I would not go back just because of the service. Closing at 10:30pm on a Saturday night on Restaurant Row is not smart.
If you like Thai food, this is the real deal. Best Thai food that I have found in the Orlando area. Not a big place, but authentic in decor and atmosphere. Highly recommended.
I think with this place, the food is decent but it's a bit overpriced only because of its location.
Food was authentic Thai food, delicious spiciness, from appetizer to main course to dessert was superb. Service was a little slow at the end but very friendly and courteous staff! Would go back again!!! 💖💖💖
It was very romantic and quite setting great for a first date and calm laid back atmosphere!
I enjoy Thai food, and Ayothaya is among the best. The servers are friendly and hospitable. The food is excellent. At lunchtime, it is rarely crowded, so it is quiet. I particularly like the duck noodle soup. Highly recommended.
This is a true authentic Thai restaurant! Order your dish "Thai Hot" to make it more authentic. You always find me there on every trip I make to Orlando!
If you are in the Orlando area or coming on vacation or business, you won't find better Thai food than at Ayothaya. Located in Restaurant Row in Dr. Phillips on Sand Lake, it is convenient to locals and tourists alike. Food and service are commendable, and the facility is very clean. I especially enjoy the duck noodle soup.
This is a cute little restaurant in a strip mall in which the flavors of the food is very good and worth trying. The appetizers are expensive for what you get but they make up for this slight shortcoming with the entrees. We had the phad thai, chicken panang curry, and tom yum thai noodle soup in which everything was generously portioned perfectly and they were not stingy on any of the ingredients. We will be back for more!
It was a slow night, there were about 4 tables in the entire restaurant and 2 servers. Our server was frantically moving about as if the entire restaurant was packed and forgot to bring our side of sauces even though we asked 3 times. It came to a point where the manager had to bring it out for us and she apologized profusely. We ordered hot n spicy soup before our meal (which was amazing), but she brought out our food out at the same time as the soup. Overall, the food was mediocre and COLD. It was brought out so fast that you could tell it wasn't made fresh. Bad service, bad food. Would not recommend.
Absolutely the best Thai in Orlando. Food comes out quick and fresh.
Staff rally seems to care about you. Large portions, very reasonable price.
We were a group of 6 with reservations, so we were seated right away. Our waiter was attentive and there was oriental music in the background. A lot of different dishes on the menu. I had the Tom Kha Chicken soup. It's made with coconut milk, so I thought it would taste like coconut. No. It had a lemon/lime flavor that was good, took me a while to get used to. However, the Pad Thai with soft shell crab was delicious, and abundant. Two whole crabs. Had to take half of the Pad Thai home for lunch the next day. The others had either seafood or chicken dishes, and everybody was happy with his dish. A good place for something different or a special occasion. It isn't cheap, but good food isn't.
Then this is the place to go. Food is very good, service and ambience as well. Not a big place, but well worth a visit and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
I had the best curry here. Perfectly spiced and the vegetables were so tender. The place doesn't look like much, but yum! It was good!
This is one of the best Thai restaurants at which I have eaten. Not a large place, but excellent food and friendly, fast service. I particularly love the duck noodle soup but have enjoyed other dishes as well. Highly recommended for locals or tourists alike.
Great service, and wonderful suggestions from our server. We really enjoyed our meal and we eat Thai quite a bit in NJ and this was OUTSTANDING.
Table had a really dirty area when we were seated... Something very sticky. Chairs are hard wood seats. Waitress never came back to see if everything was ok. That is very frustrating. we wanted more hot tea, and some hot sauce. I know they mean well, but I was surprised. The food tastes good.
Luv their summer rolls, soup, pad thai. That's all that we have tried there. I got the beef noodle soup, thinking it was the flat beef only. But it had 3 meatball like beef balls in it, had a pork spicy flavor. (I gave them to my boyfriend to eat). The pad thai is yummy. Not a 1st choice with the selection of restaurants around here, but it will do. Always slower service, so if you're in a rush, not a place to dine. I've tried lunch and dinner time, it's still the same.
The service was a bit slow, but given that it was Valentine's Day, I'll allow some leeway. Very good, authentic food. I would go back to try some of the other dishes and maybe be more adventurous when it comes to spice. The server did advise about levels of spice and offered to that if the spice was not enough, to bring over the tray of chili to help.
The food at Ayothaya is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant if you like Thai!
Wonderful food and friendly service make this a go to place for us!
