Our server was outstanding. The restaurant is under renovation but between the hostess and our server, the 4 of us had a great experience. The food was really good.
I highly recommend the crab cake and filet eggs benedict!
Way too noisy. waiter had to bend down to hear us. New floors in the back part and they are putting in TV's!? Why? It is not the dining experience I am use to there.
We went for Girl's night/happy hour on Tuesday. Everything we ordered was fabulous and so was the service. The lobster fritters were flavorful and moist. The burnt end egg rolls were crispy on the outside and moist and savory on the inside. The brie and mushroom dip was rich and elegant. The dates wrapped in bacon were a huge hit with my friend. She also had the waffle potato nachos which she said were delicious. I had the sea bass and it was fabulous. The curry sauce was light and not overpowering, but full of richness and flavor. The portions were very generous on everything we ordered. We both took part of our entrees home after eating so many of the happy hour appetizers. This was a great restaurant in every way...food, service and atmosphere.
The food is always excellent as well as the service. I brought a older lady friend (her first trip) who agreed everything was outstanding. She is ready to come again soon.
The tastetable offers are great. I love those!!
Everything was amazing and Paul was outstanding! Will be returning for sure.
I had My Birthday Brunch there and the Manager and her hostess were very rude and disrespectful to me and my guest. They treated us like crap and talked to us crazy, meanwhile we paid good money to be there and I also reserved a table that was not ready until 20 mins after my set time. I was so disappointed and disgusted by their behavior towards customers. My waiter Cody was amazing and super sweet , everyone else clearly needs to go business school like me and learn how to run a business and treat customers. They lost at least 30 potential clients sadly. Screw Avenues Bistro I will never go there again or recommend it to anybody.
We always love to eat at Avenues Bistro. The food is always delicious, the menu is varied, and everyone in our family loves it!
It was a great evening before heading g to Quality Hill Playhouse. We used a Tastable coupon so the value was unbeatable. Food was spectacular. Love this restaurant.
Nice lunch menu. Fish and chips excellent as was the burger. Lisa a great server. Will be back for lunch (carbonara and salmon looked great). Anxious to try dinner menu.
Great value for a quality food experience ! We love happy hour time frames and food. Saturday breakfast is wonderful . Service was outstanding .
Went with a friend for a relaxing dinner to chat. Perfect ambiance and the food was well prepared
We had a great time doing the Sunday Brunch and the management and staff made the experience even better. The bottomless mimosas didn’t hurt either!
It was loud inside, so it's not an intimate spot. But, service was great, food was amazing, and prices were incredible. I'm pregnant, so I couldn't partake in bottomless Mimosas, but they looked amazing and I am hoping to get back some time when I can!
Our waiter was Paul and he was so nice and attentive! Gave great suggestions for our entree and kept our bottomless drinks and waters full!
Hi, I’m just filling this out so I can proceed. Okay? Thanks.
The restaurant was extremely accommodating during the remodeling. Wonderful in every way
Sunday brunch entrees are good, but the "brunch bar" is lacking. During this visit, the foods weren't refreshed or restocked well enough, and the foods offered on the bar were pretty lacking. The salads were tasty and fresh though. We were sat at a really wobbly/uneven table (structural issue, vs. something you can easily fix w/ a few sugar packets under the foot).
Super bummed prices were raised AND no more sangria mimosas or peach Bellini, BUT EVEN STILL one of the best places!
We come because it is someplace where one can have a nice, quiet meal. But are disappointed to learn that management plans to put TV's back in the dining area. Therefore, it will no longer have the ambience or charm that brings us here and we likely will stop coming. Shame. The food is good and service excellent....
What a pleasant surprise! Had not been back since the first year you were opened. Your plates are absolutely incredibly delicious. Thank you for a wonderful experience💚💚
Avenues Bistro was a great place for our happy hour gathering. Small plates, beverages and service - all outstanding.
We received very poor customer service during our experience.
3 in our party. 1 had salmon piccata, 1 had Chilean Sea bass & 1 had lobster ravioli. All were excellent!
Our server was also superb!
Great staff makes for an enjoyable time!
The room was cold and very loud. The food was pretty good, not great. We have eaten here before and had good food, we just know what not to choose in the future.
We enjoyed happy hour pricing for our eclectic feast. We had several small plates including lemon chicken skewers, bacon-wrapped dates, and perfectly grilled steak.
This is one of the most dynamically engineered dining spots in town...always a variety of pleasing items on the menu at prices that seem to flow with the economy of the moment while imparting the feeling of good value for food, drink and ambiance. It's absolutley a safe option if you want to be sure you'll be happy about your choice.
All the food, drinks and service were wonderful as usual!
Consistently great food in a comfortable neighborhood restaurant.
Great brunch with friends. Bottomless drinks for 2 hours only $7!! Great food too. All reasonably priced.
Very one was great and very friendly! I love coming here and the bottomless drinks are the icing on the cake.
I found it very comfortable and quiet. We did eat there at 2:30. The prices are a little too high for me.
Everything was perfect for celebrating. All at our table were a bit chilly and each of us resorted to covering our legs with our coats. Upon mentioning this to our server she promptly turned the temperature up. All’s well!
Very busy with few servers present. Food was good, not great. Menu has changed.
Quality of service is always very good. The food is always very good too. It is a nice and clean place to enjoy a good meal without the pretentious and loud atmosphere that many other restaurants are. Variety of choices is ample and there is something for everyone wanting to enjoy a good meal when going out. Only one of my few choices in town that delivers every single time.
This used to be my favorite place. But ever since they opened the location in south Overland Park, this place seems to be declining. Btw, that location failed. Big surprise.
New menu is NOT good. Seems more like a bar menu. And yes, we asked to make sure that’s not what we were looking at. Probably not going back. Except for happy hour which is still good.
Everything was delicious!
Service was great and the food was good; we ordered their Sunday brunch and bottomless drinks both were good and plentiful.
Service and food was great, at hostess desk they seemed very confused and not know what was going on
