The food was amazing, as was our server, as usual. We introduced our friends to Avellino's, and they said that they will definitely return on their own.

Somewhat disappointed with Avellino this time. Chicken farm was average, pasta overcooked and too much red sauce. My wife had the veal chop which was pretty standard. Service and atmosphere were fine.

We haven't ben to Avellino in a while, and we were very pleased to return. Excellent food, and excellent service as always.

Friday night date-night with my wife to celebrate her birthday. Food, service, and atmosphere were so wonderful, we returned the following night with friends. Our server, Kristine, was the best. We specifically requested her for our return visit the next night.

The biggest problem is deciding what to have! For Antipasti, highly recommend the Stuffed Artichokes, the Sicilian Calamari, and the Cast Iron Shrimp Scampi. For Main Courses, you can’t go wrong with the Chicken Marsala, the Slow Roasted Pork Shank, the Zuppa de Pesce, and the Eggplant Parmigiana.

Honestly, I’m sure everything on the menu is wonderful, but could only eat so much over a two-night visit!

Desserts are also top-notch: the Pecan tart, the Tiramisu, the special Brownie dessert – along with a Cappuccino - yum, yum.

Can’t wait for a reason for a return visit to Sturbridge for a chance to enjoy another meal at Avellino.

Went to Avellino for a date night with my wife, The restaurant waitstaff and atmosphere
is about as good as it gets, My pasta was very slightly overdone, both meals were fantastic, ask for the Italian bread there is some kind of cookie they serve if you dont ask for the bread. Go for the sit down dinner, the bar is like in a lobby and more like a waiting/coat area, Its a great spot if you like Italian food! Ill go back 4 sure!

Danny the server was amazing. The menu had a good selection. Not overwhelming or over the top. The food was fresh. Entrees were served hot. The verbal parm was delicious. Could cut it with a fork. The tenderloin medallions were tasty and beautifully presented. Great little find in Sturbridge MA.

Went here on a date and it was fantastic. Attention to service was evident as we had 3 different servers for wine, appetizers and the main meal. While not the cheapest, the food was amazing!!

The food and service were very good. The menu had a great selection but the parking........the parking was an issue. We were late for our reservation due to no parking in either lot the restaurant owned. I would highly recommend the restaurant even with the parking issue

Salads huge & delicious. Way too long between salad & entree which was good but not special. Prices reasonable. A bit noisy.

Have dined here many times - not the best this trip - service was a little slow and the noise level was very loud. Also very cold near the windows. As usual, desserts were amazing.

No veal parm, only chicken, eggplant parm was a bit "oily" and I am not a fan of leaving the skin on!

Always great food and service at Avellino and this time was no exception.

The two regular servers in Avellino’s main dining room may be the best we’ve ever experienced. No exception on this bustling Valentine’s Day evening! Our waitress gracefully handled our table and one-half of a very busy house. We always go for the braised meats, this time pork shank and short ribs. Great as always.

Really great food and service here and an excellent wine list.

We go to Avolinos at least 2 times a month and we have never been disappointed. Our server Kristy has always made us welcome and she knows what we like for a drink to start off our meal. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is great (to too big and loud). We will keep coming.

Truly can be called “fine dining”. Service (Dan) was impeccable. The Veal Chop Milanese was perhaps the best I have ever had. We weren’t rushed and the entire meal was nicely timed. Just an excellent dining experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The hostess, waiter, and wait staff were pleasant, friendly, and professional. Nicely decorated rooms for the holiday season. The food was delicious. Antipasto salad plate had plenty for 4 to share. Fresh yummy bread. Good drinks. Prompt service. Great meals. Highly recommend the butternut squash risotto.

Arrived somewhat early for our reservation, but were seated quickly - we had dined here before a few times so were not surprised by the polite service. Waitress brought menus and wine list, filled our needs quickly and accurately! The only glitch was in the meal service itself, five dinners came out with celerity, but the sixth was delayed. No one should have been served until all meals were up together. Food was great, we shall go again for sure!!!

We are locals to the area and we always try to support our local eateries. We had a great meal for our special occasion last year and decided this would be the place again. The food is amazing, very authentic Italian cuisine and the desserts are to die for. Try the dessert for two, you can't go wrong. The wait staff are great and the ambience is quaint and unique.

Avellino was lovely, service was very good, but the overall quality of the food just left something to be desired. The descriptions of the dishes sounded wonderful, but the actual dishes were underwhelming--underseasoned, bland and not even pepper or grated cheese offered to help things along. Italian bread in basket not of very good quality. Just a disappointment overall.
