We looked forward to Easter Brunch being amazing and Trace delivered! We had a wonderful meal and experience at the W Trace. The food was phenomenal, the ambiance was amazing, and the service was impeccable. Our waitress was Ruby and she was on top of it. She was attentive, made sure we were happy every second of our meal, and went over and beyond for us. We also met Daniel who came by the table to check on us and ask if he could make our experience even better. Just great service overall. The live music that day was an acoustic guitar player who really made the afternoon great. Finally the dessert came around and we scarfed it down. We just can’t say enough about how Trace goes beyond great service and stellar food. Thanks again y’all. We’ll be back! More

First time at Volpe and we were very impressed. The menu was varied but not providing so many choices you had difficulty ordering. The quality of ingredients was excellent and nicely presented. It helps when the staff are friendly, attentive and enthusiastic and our server (Michael) was all of those with a good sense of fun. The dining and bar spaces are very pleasant and while they have high ceilings there was no echo, in fact it created for the right ambience. Definitely coming back soon. More

I just had such a great time. It was a beautiful Austin night, and I was immediately charmed by Rosewood, a gorgeous stand-alone Victorian chateau built in 1890. The bartender, Marianna was extremely personable and friendly. We took our seats at the chef's tasting area. The menu at Rosewood is farm to table based on what ingredients are best on any particular day. I was very impressed with every dish especially the Johnson's Backyard Garden carrots. The churro chocolate mousse was warm crispy and wonderful. I will definitely go back for brunch soon. More

The food was incredible. My first time to Austin and the first restaurant I visited and it blew my mind. The staff were also all very friendly and Joy was particularly helpful about spots to see in the city. The whole experience was amazing. And I really can’t say enough about the dishes. Appetizer all the way through to dessert; delectable! And they have wifi for out of towners like me :) More

Discover Austin

Austin’s booming dining scene is one of the many reasons the vibrant capital of Texas tops just about every “best of” list that comes out. Over the last decade, Austin has made waves in industries from music and tech to filmmaking and—you guessed it—food. Speaking of food, forget any notions about Austin’s culinary scene being solely Tex-Mex, barbecue, and breakfast tacos. While all those things are still here (and delicious as ever), the food scene is brimming with energy, creativity, and new concepts. A new wave of coffee roasteries, sushi fusion restaurants, stylish eateries and juiceries have opened their doors, adding dynamism to a city on the rise.
