Aurora - Williamsburg

We were a party of 4, had made the reservation for 11am when they first open but we were 20 minutes late (I called in advance to let them know and they were fine with it). So because we were late, we couldn’t sit in the garden which was our original idea (our own fault); but their outside by the entrance tables were just as nice, we sat in a corner where the sun was right on top of us and we also had heaters to help with the freezing cold (28F).

I was the only one who had previously eaten there and everyone loved their food options. Service was on point with special requests and bringing out the food at the same time. I also let the waiter know it was my birthday and he came out with a candle on top of the dessert I ordered! So nice!

We will definitely be coming back again and hopefully will arrive on time to sit at the pretty garden.

Do yourself a favour and fire the front of house manager who is always arrogant and hostile. Despite making mention that it was my birthday and asking specifically for a space in the warmer part of the restaurant we arrived on time to be thrown into a tiny space and left the restaurant utterly cold
The food was substandard. the quality of the wine proves that they do not keep their bottles correctly. Overall a very disappointing experience. I would wait until after Covid for them to get their act together

Loved our experience here! We came for dinner and was seated right on time. The waiter was friendly and personable, and the ambience was romantic. The garden is well heated and so cute. The food was amazing as well. We will definitely be back!

Great winter set up for NYC standards. But F DiBlasio and F Cuomo for opening indoor dining in every county except the 5 boroughs. They can both rot in hell.

We always loved this restaurant! They really have a great set-up for outdoor dining using their garden and deck spaces. They have brought in heat lamps and partitions between the table. They take the COVID precautions seriously!

When it was in the 30's, were were comfortable and felt very safe eating there. The food was wonderful as always!

Please bring back the roasted mushroom starter and the ilatium Amarone! Otherwise heavenly experience - many thanks ! 🙏🏼

Great service and food. Outdoor garden was so pretty with lots of heaters!

Lovely, warm, and safe outdoor seating, complete with plexiglass barriers between tables. Great place to go for indulgent, thoughtful Italian fare and a safe yet still bustling scene that feels almost like dining out pre-pandemic.

I came here before but goodness I feel their portion has gotten so much smaller. Croquettes used to be three pieces but now it is two, given on a small salad plate with no effort in presentation. That’s not how I remembered it at all!

Just all around great. Easy-going, hard working servers. I felt like we were being taken care of even though we didn’t necessarily have a single point of contact.

Great service! Went there for the first time and glad i did. Will be going back! Food was excellent along with drinks. Reasonable prices as well. Ambiance was beautiful. They have these big heating lamps which got the job done.

Cacio e pepe pasta was amazing. Service was sub-par but it is also COVID and I'm sure they are understaffed so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. Great heat lamps and the patio is set up so cute!

As usual, it maintains its beauty and kitchen cred. Even though it was really cold, being surrounded by heating units was pretty good! And even this venue and many others haven't figured out that a cold table cools a hot dish way too fast (needs tablets or heated dish underneath, etc.), I was grateful for the opportunity to enjoy a quiet, delicious family supper there.

Great food, prompt service. We felt relatively safe in the outdoor garden where they have several air filters and plexi between tables. It was a little loud with the filters going and the music, but we did appreciate the work they put in to make it a safe environment. Nice twist on Italian food and great cocktails.

The ambiance was nice and the service was great. The food itself was disappointing. Our appetizer was just okay and both mine and my partners entrees were decent, nothing to rave about. I’ve eaten a lot of Italian cuisine and as mentioned before, I was disappointed in the food. Everything else was great.

Food was great, heaters worked well, outdoor ambiance was very pleasant.

Excellent experience. The food, service and ambiance, (even given the constraints related to COVID), were all top notch. We were a group of 7, so we tried the majority of the brunch menu. The homemade pasta were outstanding, as were all the dishes we tasted.

Great restaurant. Food was excellent and the decor was really cute. Terrace could be heated a little more and music level a little lowered. These are details, I would recommend this restaurant very much.

One of the best spots in Williamsburg! My boyfriend and I went twice in one week. The cocktails are amazing and the food is absolutely delicious! It is worth every penny!

What a find!! I was taking some chef friends with me on a culinary adventure to Brooklyn. We had limited time and most of my go to places either opened after 5 or sadly hadn’t made it through COVID. I read some reviews and an article about Aurora snd decided to take a chance. Sooooooooo glad I did!

The BEST Italian food I have had in the city. Amazing ambiance and was warm even being outside for dining. Will 100% be coming back!

Super delicious, good service but very European style (when you need something you have to be a bit more proactive in flagging down staff). Great outdoor space even on one of the coldest nights!

Great food and service! It was just a little cold- which, obviously dining outside in the cold is not ideal but, Aurora did an amazing job figuring out how to still work during this pandemic. Can’t wait to go back.

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday. The staff was very attentive, food was amazing, and we loved how they designed the outdoor area with all the greenery and heat lamps to stay warm while following covid guidelines eating outside. We ordered the strip steak special with side of broccoli rabe and potatoes and it was SO good.
