The food is amazing. The service is excellent. The wine selection is very good. If you want a good meal this is the place to go.
Excellent food, proper Italian one, not American versione of Italian’s dishes. I’m Italian, born, raised and living and I can say the food was really similar to what my Italian’s nonna cooks. Well done
Everything was spectacular! Food was fantastic, Rudy made the best drinks ever and Guadalupe took amazing care of us! The host David was also great!!! Our fav place in Soho!!
Always a delight . No complaints food ,drinks and service always to notch. Love the cozy dim lights ambiance. Thank you Aurora.
Everything about our experience at Aurora Soho was outstanding!
Wonderful food and service! One of the best meals in NYC!
Wonderful brunch. The Nutella French Toast and Frittata were excellent!
Not a great brunch. We had brunch at the restaurant and we ordered two sides -- bacon and poached eggs, that were to be eaten with an order of avocado toast. The bacon was not particularly flavorful and incredibly salty. What was more disappointing were the poached eggs which were cold -- literally cold to the touch. The kitchen did offer to make new eggs but we were in a hurry and very hungry and so ate it. At the end, we might have expected the eggs not being charged, but they were and we had an offer of a free espresso, but since we already had coffee, we didn't want that. Altogether, a disappointing brunch. Perhaps it was an off day.
AMAZING..... food and service, definitely recommend!!!!!
This was a cute find. First We sat by the bar for a drink and the bartender was extremely friendly. Overall the restaurant had romantic lighting and noise level was low. I had white white (skimpy pour) but my spritz cocktail was good.. my fiancé had old fashioned and he enjoyed it.
I had the Ragu pappardelle pasta and my fiancé had the squid ink seafood pasta. We both agreed mine was better but we were both happy with dinner. I enjoyed our dinner here. The restaurant was hip and cosy However, we were sitting very close to the tables on either side of us
Food was pretty standard and price was fair. My biggest concern was that none of the waiting staff was wearing a mask and the tables were not spaced out at all. If that doesnt bother you then this place is not bad. I would return if I was in the area but not a must to travel for.
Great place with great ambience and service
Had a great brunch! The food was fantastic
A cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Perfect location, staff was attentive but did not rush us in any way. The menu offered a wonderful variety for brunch with some unique and delicious offerings. The food was delicious. Would definitely return, perhaps for dinner.
Service was efficient and helpful. It was an enjoyable lunch.
Waiter never came back, forgot drinks, 3 ppls food wrong. Food delivered at different times. Just overall disappointing
Absolutely rude bartender who abused the fact that the ever so kind owner had a day off.
Fabulous dining experience for our 7 family members. Service was extraordinary; food perfectly prepared and way yummy; noise minimal allowed us to hear each other glowing about the food. The perfect host Mae sure we were done in time for our 7:00 Broadway show. Adore NYC and Aurora!!
Went out to brunch on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Very attentive service. Would have loved a few more options on brunch menu. I had forgotten what it felt like to listen to honking horns while sitting outside. Overall a great experience.
Maya…… My queen my legend
Fabulous food and service. GREAT PLACE. Was a little on the warm side temperature -wise, but that won't stop me from going back!
We had a delicious lunch - from first to last. Highly recommended.
Great food. Service was a little slow for only having a few tables but the services was very good otherwise.
Very pleasant staff. Food is excellent. A bit noisy if sitting outside but that’s everywhere. I highly recommend.
We had a nice meal with delicious food
Loved this place as we ventured out during a super rainy night with storm Ida. Mia was amazing and we can’t wait to return.
A beautiful brunch with a group of ten. Adults and children. The menu was amazing and had something for everyone. Service was outstanding and we all had a lovely time!
Maya was so sweet she made our night so special! She really needs a raise!
Overall good spot , good food, good ambiance, would go again
The cacio y pepe pasta reminded me of how much I love Italian food! Great service as well.
Great ambiance, delicious food and friendly staff
Pasta was fantastic!! Loved the vibe. Would def go back
Overall, I will say the food was pretty good and the place was clean, but it wasn't worth the $165 I spent on a meal for me and two girls. Also my credit card was overcharged by $25!!! The croquettes were really great and I would recommend them if you go; however, I would NOT recommend this establishment. The place had a great ambience, but the waitress was awful--slow, inattentive, and just plain rude! She hardly checked on us and was quite rude any time we asked questions. Also, I wasn't a fan of broccoli and asked for a substitute (all the sides cost pretty much the same) and she said absolutely not, so I basically had a huge piece of chicken (that wasn't very flavorful) along with 3-4 small potatoes. It was really a letdown. When I ordered a drink, I saw the waitress standing around for a very long time doing nothing (there were only 3-4 tables being served in the entire establishment)... it took her 10-15 minutes just to bring a water. It was a ridiculous wait. Then at the end, we waited nearly 30 minutes just for the check after we were finished. For three people, my bill was $165. It definitely wasn't worth it. The experience was really bad and you would think they would've given us better attention given that they had hardly any customers at the time. Oh, one final note. Something that made me very uncomfortable - the waitress stood there over my shoulder and asked me to fill out the tip amount in front of her. It was really awkward and rude (again). No surprise. DON'T GO! There are much better restaurants we found in SOHO that were much better.
One of my favorite restaurants in NY! Incredible food and service!
Food was very good but the restaurant had minimal to no AC and it was already 88-90 degrees outside. Wish I knew cause it affected the experience as we were hot all dinner
Enjoyed dinner. Gazpacho followed by the whole branzino and pasta with seafood. Very comfortable dining.
Forgot we existed. Waited almost half an hour without any sign of water, or a server. Funny, we were the only people of color there and it was nearly empty when we sat down. They started seating large groups of new people (not people of color, surprise surprise) before they even glanced at us. I had to flag down the host, in a nearly empty restaurant, for water.
When I come to NYC, I love to eat at Aurora. Last night, my experience was poor. I had a reservation at 7:15. We were on time and seated. We ordered drinks. Our waiter left and we did not see him again for 30 min. Our drinks arrived an hour later. Communication between the wait staff and kitchen was off. Three appetizers arrived at our table that we had not ordered. We told the man who brought them to the table that we had not ordered them. He located our waiter who then came over and removed two of the appetizers and took our dinner order which included the one appetizer that remained on our table. We wanted to order wine but the waiter never brought a wine list and we still did not have cocktails. We each ordered a pasta dish. The kitchen sent out two orders of pasta for us to share. Once again, our order was messed up. The waiter came over and told us the kitchen made a mistake. He was surprised that we still did not have our cocktails. The server took away the two pasta dishes and promised to bring out four pasta dishes in about 15 mins. The pasta came out and was delicious. No cocktails, yet. Cocktails arrive while eating. We asked for our check and paid. Aurora’s was a disappointment last night. I understand that restaurants are struggling trying to hire people. What bothered me the most was no manager being present and apologizing.
Amazing food. Great quality, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend
