Aureole - Las Vegas
Fantastic! Loved the apps, dinner was superb, and dessert was amazing!! Favorite spot in Vegas!
Good overall experience. Not so much to do with the restaurant, but the Mandalay Bay has changed. A little more rowdy. Kind of took away from the evening. But still a reccomended spot!
Great food and great service. Sat by the small water pond in the back, it is very nice there.
The food was outstanding and the scenery is great. This is one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas. I love the wine tower.
We've dined three or four times here before and enjoyed it each time. Though a pleasant evening this was not as enjoyable as previously. At the start of the meal VERY load music was playing in the Mandalay Bay Casino, though the Maitre d' apologized and gave us a free glass of champagne which was kind.
The food was good but far from exceptional. Onion Soup and Chocolate Souffle were the high points. Mains were OK. Service wasn't really up to Michelin Star standard.
I went here for the first time and thrilled that is was on the list for restaurant week and totally disappointed with the quality of the food. I could have cooked a lot better meal.
Hands down one of the best restaurants we’ve visited! The food was phenomenal, the wine paring was outstanding, the view was fantastic and service was incredible.
Very underwhelmed. I expected more from this restaurant. The Beef Carpaccio that we got was under seasoned, it had no salt at all. The Caesar was okay, the Octopus and the Burrata were delicious. The steak was cooked unevenly, and the Coffee Crème Brûlée was just okay. Service was good though, staff was very friendly.
The food was very good with a nice presentation. Since we went during the Las Vegas restaurant week the value was excellent, otherwise would probably have not gone at regular price. The service was excellent.
Not the first time or the last. This time there was a private party / group that got really loud. But overall great as always!
This place was amazing! We were staying at Mandalay & wanted a great steak, and we got it! We were able to make a reservation which was nice. Greeted promply& our server explained the menu& offered suggestions. My steak was amazing ( all of ours were) and the horseradish mashed potatoes were a perfect pairing! For dessert I had the creme brulee & my friends opted for the cheesecake& sorbet--- both were wonderful! This will definitely be a place I frequent on my Vegas trips!
Ate there for restaurant week. Party of 10 we had 5 steaks and sent back 3 because they were cooked improperly. Waiter appeared lost not very attentive drinks sat empty. Had been previously and had an amazing dining experience so this was very disappointing. When we first came in there was a dj in the casino hallway blaring music so loud it was impossible to hold a conversation. Scallops were delicious and manager was great, but doubt as locals we will return.
Appetizers were just ok. Two dinners were great --- one was overcooked.
All three desserts were very good
Beautiful restaurant but was disappointed with the food and service. Everything felt rushed and not one dish was wow! There’s so many wonderful restaurants to pick from....after leaving dinner we said we wouldn’t go back again.
The absolutely best risotto in my life and that incredible risotto I had in Venice, Italy.
I really enjoyed the overall experience. When the steak was brought to the table, it looked amazing. However, it was very grissly, and hard to cut. I'm not one to send food back, which falls on me. I'm glad we got to taste this restaurant, as we have passed it many times in Mandalay Bay. We enjoyed our overall experience.
I dined as a single person participating in restaurant week. I will return, as the service and food were excellent. I was very happy with the vegetarian dishesI selected.
My husband and I were in Vegas to attend a concert, and being wine lovers we were excited to have dinner at Aureole. Their wine list was an oenophile's dream and our food was outstanding! I had the scallops which were seared to perfection with peas, pearl onions and bacon. My husband had the halibut which was poached with mussels, clam, leeks, and saffron jus. Our wine for dinner was Far Niente Chardonnay which complimented our dishes perfectly. For dessert we had a 1998 Loosen late harvest gruner paired with the chocolate souffle which was exquisitely divine.
Our waiter was a little on the quiet side, but our sommelier was quite the character and very enjoyable to talk to. Because of our wine choices, dinner was pricey but worth it. The only thing that marred our dining experience was the next table over was occupied by a loud mouth braggart who like to talk about women and gambling with his buddies (whom we found out later was an employee of the casino)
No ambience. Limited menu offerings. Over priced for the setting.
Been to the one in NY and it is much better in my opinion.
Our second year in a row enjoying Restaurant week and our second dinner at Aureole. I love the wine pairings....although I think the pour was a bit small for the additional $35. That said, the pairings went very well and the Sommelier was knowledgeable. See you next year!
It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience to eat here. Great views, good food. I've seen more warmth from other waitstaff at other restaurants, and the wine-by-the-glass prices are too high, but it's a place worth going to once, for sure.
Chef menu was AMAZING!!! Service was impeccable
Came for restaurant week. Overall good experience. Did feel a little rushed with waiters offering to take plates before they were empty. Ravioli tasting portion was literally two bites. Kinda felt a little cheap for the price, however the steak was a nice portion. Desserts were both awesome.
This was my second dinner at Aureole and it did not disappoint. The service the quality and selection of dishes were superb, as is their amazing wine list. I will go back any time I'm in the area.
Waitstaff was relatively inattentive. We had to call them over several times because they just didn’t come by to check. Most in our party enjoyed their meals. The filet wasn’t tender at all, however, so I was not impressed with that particular meal. The setting and presentation of the food was very nice.
Aureole provided a wonderful dining experience. We chose the tasting menu with the premium wine pairing. We had foie gras, filet mignon, lobster tail, scallops, a salad, an oyster/caviar amuse bouche, and a delightful and light raspberry cheese cake. The wines were perfectly paired, with wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Austria, and the US. A great way to experience this Charlie Palmer restaurant and its amazing wine cellar.
Very disappointed by the service! We had a reservation for 8.30 by 9.30 i had a drink and an appetizer.. we had to cancel our main course because we had a show to catch our server was totally lost and did not know what to do.. i was super super disappointed
Aureole used to be a favorite
We came in for dinner and Aureole is not like before
The menu was not very exciting
Service was generally ok
Soo busy that there was no Tasting Menu
Probably will not go again
Extremely pleasant atmosphere good service amazing food
Good value for money
Enjoyed immensely will be going back
My wife and I enjoyed Aureole very much except for the service. We ordered the seafood platter on ice but were never given plates to put the seafood. It was about 15 minutes or so before one of the waiters realized that mistake. My wife & I had to share a bread plate and by the time the plates were provided, we were just about done. Not what you expect from such a well known establishment!!!
I booked my reservation only to receive a call telling me that they couldn't honor it because they had booked out the restaurant. Why was it accepted in the first place then? Anyway, they apologized and told me they would call any other restaurant in MB and transfer the res there. No problem, we chose the Foundation Room. Well when we got to the Foundation room there was no reservation. We were lied to.
Love their sweets. We expected they were too sweet for us, but they were so good.
Great food, excellent service.
Started in the bar with Sal, happy hour was good, snacks were great, Sal was the best part! Then Paige got us a great table, super friendly and fun. Then it was Oscars turn, what a man! Did the tasting menu and six a la carte to match the tasting menu. Oscar timed every dish perfectly, on top of being friendly and a good host, perfect service, and making it a great experience. Peru must miss him because Las Vegas won! During the meal Chef Alexandre personally came out and talked to us about the food, his life experience, and his growing family! What a treat to get to talk to. And a great personal touch on the whole experience- wish more places still did this! Food was fantastic- the people surround the food made it an experience to remember. Thanks to all!
Aureole is the best restaurant in Vegas. The talented Chef and knowledgable staff make it an unforgettable experience.
Made reservations expecting patio but with the windy conditions patio was closed. Decided to sit in bar/lounge area and was completely blown away! Service was awesome and customer service spectacular! Best kept secret in Mandalay Bay! Happy hour was truly a great deal! 50% off everything on bar menu! Grilled Brie cheese sandwich with honey and walnuts! Largest shrimp on the cocktail ever! Merlot at the bar was sooo smooth! Old fashioned was so tasty! Will be back for sure!
Always just perfect for us.
Went to dinner with my wife for Anniversary, the food was a great delight for the senses. Awesome service, didn't got to see the wine Angel's but nonetheless great experience.
No atmosphere very disappointing. Good food, but at a ridiculous price. Service ok, but definitely not on it.
Great food good ambiance
