Fabulous, but It's not Stripsteak quality. A medium 8oz filet at Aureole produced a rather brown, dry piece of meat. I was surprised. Other than that, an excellent restaurant, and I'll be back to give it a second try.
What does one say about Aureole that has not already be said? It is fabulous! Great menu, great food, great presentation and great service! You can’t do better than Aureole whether in Las Vegas or NY! 5 Stars!!!!!
The restaurant had great service and food. The wine cellar is an amazing tower behind glass that greets visitors and entertains them as hostesses use ropes to retrieve wine selections, great fun. The meal was delicious and a wide range of desserts topped off a great evening.
This was our second time here and we loved it! Great food and service and it’s fine to watch the angel go get wine.
This is an outstanding restaurant with delicious food, fantastic wine lists and somewhat creative choices. The climate attracts a high caliber of diners without the Vegas strip feel. The wine angel (think silver full-body latex acrobat “flying” to bring your wine down from the glass-enclosed wine cage) provided a good distraction from the lack-luster service our waiter provided. The menu offers equal parts appetizers and meals and the portions are excellent so you could choose an appetizer for your main course if you aren’t starving. There are plenty of options for vegetarians but it’s not easy to find anything if you are gluten-free.
Loved our dinner here! We went before seeing the 9:30 Cirque show “Michael Jackson One.” We shared the short braised rib ravioli and turkey & swiss meatballs on the appetizer menu, then we shared the fettuccine for our main course and a variety of sorbets for dessert. Try the coconut sorbet!!! I would have had a bowl of just that! Very creamy, almost like ice cream. The others were good too, very light. Great wine menu and loved the pairing suggestions, even though I always go rouge. My husband thought it was a little loud in the open area, but the place was packed, but it didn’t bother me because we could still carry on a conversation with no problem. Service was very good and attentive.
We were in Las Vegas for a business conference and wanted to take our employees somewhere special before we attended the Michael Jackson One show. Aureole did not disappoint!
I called it the show before the show because the floor to ceiling wine vault has "Wine Angels" scaling its height searching for guests bottle selections. Very cool visual aspect to the restaurant.
We ordered a few appetizers for the table and the standout to be was the multi-meat meatballs! Filled with cheese and topped with prosciutto, YUM!
We had quite a few vegetarians with us and they were thrilled that they had a whole section on the menu to choose from. Many chose the Veggie Lasagna and said it was great.
I had the steak and while I couldn't finish it because I had too many apps and sides it was delicious. Tender and flavorful.
My best advice for this restaurant though, order the mac and cheese! I am still thinking about it 3 days later! SO GOOD!
This was a great place for a business dinner. I really appreciated the vegetarian and vegan entrée choices on the nice menu.
Ribeye charred way too much. Burnt. Inedible. Wine list amazing. Risotto and ravioli were good.
Fun wine collection with a “wine girl” who has to hoist herself up in a trapeze to get wine from the racks;

Not the usual Aureole experience. While the food was good, the service seemed strained - condescending at times for not wanting the requested upsets. Disappointing as this has always been a favourite of ours. We will try one more time, and hope for a better experience, if not this one is off the list. Shame.

Lovely restaurant, delicious food, and a great wine list and spectacular-looking wine cellar. It's probably the most luxurious restaurant in Mandalay Bay.

I was very disappointed with the experience. I selected the restaurant based on it being Michelin rated. However, of the 8 ppl in my
party only 2 ppl were satisfied with their meal. The restaurant is extremely quiet. It felt like we were dining with conservative uptight individuals. The waiter did his job but the interaction was not warm. As far as the food, the main complaint was a lack of taste. This included the salmon and chicken. I ordered the Chilean Sea bass, there was a sauce that topped the dish but it was a bit salt. The first was nothing to rave about. The selection and presentation didn’t our expectations. Expected more creativity and a much better taste.
This restaurant is all fake. Besides the nice decor, there is not much to like about this restaurant. The food was uninspiring; the server kept asking is the food was good, but never bothered to hear what we said, and it was a big disappointment overall. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant unless you have low expectations.
Wonderful place. Server a little too fast in presentation as menu is unique and creative. One of my favorite premium restaurants in Vegas.
Food is nothing out of this world. The wine cellar is the only thing I liked the most.
This Michelin rated restaurant is certainly FAR from it's stars. The service, food and prices charged are NOT worth it. I ordered the seabass and had to send it back as it was overcooked and the soba noodles that came with it were beyond salty. They made a new one and it turned out even worse! Service was slow, the little details like coat check, and cleaning off crumbs from the table were not there. Asked if they had Bernaise sauce for the steak and they said they did and after ordering it they said they didn't. If they didn't we would have never ordered the steak. Overall, don't waste your time and money going there. We had stellar service and food at Lupo so I would suggest going there!
We were there for NYE2018, paid $ 180 per person including the wines matched to each plate, everything was great, and the service was equally good.
Would go back there anytime!
This was the second time we have eaten here. We weren’t greatly impressed the first time, but wanted to give it another chance. This will be the last time we eat here. Had the same server as the first time, he was friendly but quite slow. The food wasn’t what it should be, especially for the price point and for it being Vegas and so many other places nearby to compete with. We were deciding on menu choices and the gentlemen next to us overheard and recommended against what he was having. It was the halibut and it was overcooked and tasteless. The Caesar salad we ordered to share had absolutely NO flavor whatsoever. Tasted simply like the raw lettuce with brown edges that had been obviously chopped early in the day and sitting in a refrigerator somewhere. We have never sent something back as inedible...this was our first time doing so and to the server’s credit, he credited it back to us on our final check. The beef cheek ravioli was the best thing we had there, but it really wasn’t anything special. The calamari was interesting. Very thick breading and a tasteless sauce. Are you catching onto a theme here? My husband had the mushroom cavatelli. It wasn’t terrible. I had the king salmon and the Smokey flavor of it was quite good. We declined dessert because at that point we were just done. There weren’t even any wine angels that we saw the entire time we were there, and it was a pretty busy night. We did see one gentlemen float up for a bottle? For the price, you can get so much better service and food in Las Vegas.
Once upon a time, this was an exciting place ... but upon revisiting, we found the service and ambiance was lacking. Food; meh. For the price and given the competition in Las Vegas ... I wasn't impressed this time.

We visit this venue every time we go to Vegas. The wine is excellent, the food innovative and delicious and the service is awesome.
Nothing like paying $180 for a meal for one to get 2 mediocre glasses of wine ($25 a glass for bottles that cost $30 retail), a plate of calamari (that was excellent) and a $60 ribeye I could have bought for $8 at the local grocery.
Ribeye should be well marbled of course, but I shouldn't have to repeatedly spit gristle that is as tough as rubber into my napkin . None of the rich, explosive tastes I expect from a ribeye were present. I expect to pay a premium in Vegas, no issue there, but the food was below average, both in core ingredient quality and preparation. Not below average for the price, below average for any price. This would have been an average steak at Denny's.
For those who may think this reactionary, this is the first review I've ever written here (or anywhere.) The steak and fries were that bad. Avoid.
Christmas dinner was FANTASTIC!
Great place for christmas dinner. The tasting menu was the perfect way to try a mixture of delicious cuisines. Lovely atmosphere. The wine angel is definitely entertaining!
The restaurant is a 5 star. I just missed the way they served the bread, different bread brought to your table for you to choose from. Now they serve the bread and leave it on the table. No more chooses. Still outstanding service and great food.
Great ambience and energy in this restaurant. Take a look at the wine bar retriever! Food was delicious as well! Take a look at the desserts. We had a great time :)

My family and I went here for Thanksgiving. The food, service, and ambiance were all exceptional! I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions!
The food was ok, but definitely not worth the price. Steak was over cooked, and some aspects were not worth trying. Kind of disappointed.
I’m a big fan of the founder chef Charlie Palmer and he never disappoints. This was my third time at his Vegas restaurant. It can be very noisy, but this trip - weekday dinner - it was fine.
It was fantastic! The food was perfect and the service was exceptional.
We sat by the terrace and had a sitting area on the terrace for use at our discretion. It was both delightful and luxurious.
Everything in Vegas is expensive the food wasn't that great I got beet salad that wasn't too tasty and the Caesar salad was excessively drowned on dressing the Sea Bass was good but didn't care for the sauce .Chocalate cake with ice cream sent back not good.
