The food was spectacular but the service was subpar, over 15 minutes to ask to order another glass of wine. Never checked up on us to see if food was good or if we needed anything. Luckily the food was delicious.
Great restaurant we did wait for our table even at 9:30 pm but the service and food was well worth the wait. We will be back!
We loved the food and drinks! But the service wasn't great.
Not your father's Little Italy restaurant. Not the red sauce centric restaurant like so many restaurants in the area are. The downstairs has a hip vibe to it. Our server was cool and friendly but totally a professional. The GM paid attention to us and chatted, telling us about the food and ingredients. The food was delicious. The restaurant itself has a downstairs and an upstairs (we ate downstairs.) It got busy while we were there. They did run out of certain options on the menu but the recommendations as substitutes were great. I will come here again, no doubt.
Perfect! All was good (not exceptional but very good!)
Nice little spot in little Italy, hubby loved the Sunday sauce!
Great non-touristy restaurant in the middle of little italy. Homemade pastas, great sauces, cute fun vibe. Highly recommend.
Our waitress MacKenzie (hope I got the spelling right) was amazing! Delicious and fresh food! Just overall awesomeness! Will be back to try other dishes!
The food was AMAZING. The service was great as well. The waiter was honest when i asked him his opinion on meals!
What a cute and cozy restaurant! I sat downstairs at a two top. I was about 20 minutes into dinner before I realized that I was sitting in what used to be the Mulberry Project. The food came in a timely manner, the service was good, the food was really good - I had the squid ink linguine with clams and a glass of white wine. The decor and lighting are warm and inviting. I would come back again.
Great food. Have been here before. Service was off, they were short staffed. But food made up for it!
Delicious and very fresh pasta. Best gluten free pasta I’ve had in NYC. Only downside was that we sat upstairs in the afternoon on a Saturday, and it was empty. But the downstairs was full so choose that if you prefer more people milling about.
I showed up with the reservation and they told me it was going to be a 45 minute wait this is ridiculous if you can’t accommodate reservations then don’t allow for them.
Food was delicious but waited over an hour for our food to come
Staff was amazing (from the bartender, managers, wait staff) - everyone was beyond accommodating to our countless ad hoc requests. Food was fantastic. Will be coming back!
Thank you very much pasta was so good.
4 adults and 2 well behaved kids ages 9 and 12z Server was really unhelpful when we asked if the kids meals could come a bit earlier than ours as we had also ordered entrees. We also asked if the kids meals could be smaller portions or at least in smaller dishes. No was the response for everything.
Really disappointing and embarrassing as I had brought visitors to the USA our for their one night in NYC.
Everyone likes the food but nobody enjoyed the service. Even the kids noticed it and were taken aback.
Will not return nor recommend.
No one greeted us at door. Bread didn’t come out til after we finished salad & soup. They offered one dessert but it wasn’t ready yet!
Service for brunch was extremely slow (1:30 reservation but didn’t really get service until 2:30) but they were apologetic and the food was incredible once we received it. Still worth it!
Delicious food, love the menu concept and drinks were also fun and inventive. Service was incredibly slow, we waited approximately 30 minutes after our reservation time and service throughout the meal was noticeably slow. Not a terrible thing for a Sunday brunch, I'd rather that than be rushed in and out but we did feel forgotten a few times. We also sat in the basement which I think may be a temporary dining area, at least it felt as such.
Overall a great place, I highly recommend for the food!
The worst service that I’ve ever experienced. There was only one waiter for the entire top floor of the restaurant.
Great food, great service, great experience
Perfect setting. Very friendly waitress. Chill ambiance. Girlfriend got Squid ink fettuccine vongole and I got cavatelli with lamb ragu. Both amazing. Highly recommend
Downstairs was really crowded and the tables are very close together. Would be much better if they spaced out the tables.
The service was overall wonderful, our server Mackenzie was very lovely, have been here plenty of times and I’m never disappointed with the service ♥️
The pasta was mediocre. Definitely not worth the cost. The waiter failed to tell us that adding shrimp to our pasta costs $28.
The service was great. We got seated pretty early as we arrived. The food was amazing. The kalamari was especially delicious. The pasta was phenomenally sublime! And the hazelnut nutella mousse was very tasty.
I was not asked if wanted Parmesan and I was sad
Love this place!! They take care of you so well and the pasta was to DIE for. Sat next to some food bloggers which was pretty fun. They didn’t talk to each other the whole time and took their food outside to take pics. I was quite entertained.
Really crowded 🙈 but great service once we sat down. Very friendly waitress. The burrata toast appetizer was amazing! A must not miss! My friend ordered the vodka sauce with the black ink spaghetti, it was the best of our two pasta dishes. I got the tagetelli with the garlic pecorino sauce. It was okay, just not as flavorful and heavy. The pasta was very good though. Very loud and upbeat place, which was fun but not a spot for a quiet date night. Would definitely return!
Amazing meal amazing food. INCREDIBLE SERVICE!!!! We will definitely come back
Great food and ambiance! Would recommend.
the food was amazing, the service was the best. they sat us close to the door and when there was space moved us away from the door to a warmer spot.
The food was just OK, as was the vibe int eh downstairs space and the service. Not bad! Just OK. I will way, they have a very strong social media presence that displays a vibe in the restaurant and presentation level of the food that we did not experience.
Great meal all-around - the pasta was just delicious! Good quality food, good portion size for the money and the service was friendly and attentive. I have already made a reservation to go back.
Aunt Jake's serves absolutely the best pasta that I've ever had. Stupendous ambience and fun!
Great food and great atmosphere - yummy cocktails too!
We went as a group of 8 and although it was a generally good experience, 2 of the family plates that we ordered were spicy to a point of unedible, and there was no mention of spices in either of them on the menu.
The server was very accommodating and didn't ended up charging us for the plates, but we were disappointed, regardless, since we're looking forward to eat!
The food was INCREDIBLE, but the service was not that good. The restaurant only had 3 tables of people, and it took over 45 minutes to get our food, without any update of it coming soon. The food made it worth it, but definitely don’t go here on a tight schedule.
Best pasta I’ve had in NYC hands down. Will be back ASAP.
