Augusto's Ratings and Reviews
Another excepcional dinner at Augusto's. Great service, beautiful presentation of the food and great flavors. We have been coming here for several years already and it is always consistent, from the appetizers to dessert. The Ecuadorean Ceviche was delicious, the Onion Brulee as well. The steak perfectly cooked to order and the sword fish as creative as other times I had it. The amazing coconut bread pudding is so good, it's hard to believe that it is bread pudding. Overall it's the best place to eat without having to fight for your life on I-95 to go to Philly and having to pay $25 for parking.
We went to celebrate my birthday and they gave me a rose when I was seated at my table. There were several birthdays being celebrated there that night and everyone got a dessert with a candle and happy birthday song. The food was wonderful and the service was great. It is pricey but worth it!
Augustos was highly recommended to us by a few different friends and we decided to give it a try. We were blown away! Service right away was attentive and we loved the trick with the wine cork! Our food was delicious and presented beautifully. I thought the portions were perfect and we had an appetizer, soup, salad, our entrees, and dessert! Literally everything was amazing and perfectly cooked. Lastly we got stuck in the parking lot in mud (unseasonably warm following snow) and the kitchen staff was beyond kind and came out to push our car out. It took close to half an hour! They refused a tip and were beyond helpful. It says a lot about the type of people this restaurant employs. I highly recommend and look forward to returning for another great date night!
Went on a Wednesday night and it was wonderful. The noise level was good and the service was great. All of our entrees were outstanding. We had room for two delicious desserts - coconut bread pudding and crème brulee which were out of this world. Highly recommend the restaurant as food is delicious
My husband took me to AUGUSTOS for my birthday. It was fabulous. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The food was very delicious. I had shrimp and scallops with risotto. Very tasty! And the coconut bread pudding was out of this world! Our waiter was very attentive. Can’t wait to return. A little high in price but definitely worth it.
My friends and I keep going back for lunch as this is our favorite restaurant with excellent menu and delicious reasonable food. We've never been disappointed. Did I mention the to-die-for desserts? Its quiet enough so we can have a conversation without having to shout across the table to each other and we like that is BYOB. Highly recommend.
We would highly recommend this restaurant and have recommended this restaurant to several of our friends. Extremely friendly and fast service. Food was outstanding and did not over load your plate. Just the right amount of serving. It is a wonderful place for a local restaurant.
Chef Augusto Jalon and staff never disappoint! Their ability to treat you both as honored guests and as friends is amazing. The food is "to die for" and no request falls on deaf ears...though the creative menu always surprises and satisfies.
Don't wait to try this gem out and make it one of your favorites.
We absolutely love Augusto's. The food choices and preparation are excellent. My daughter accompanied us on our last trip and she really enjoyed the entire meal. The chef is obviously very talented and creative. The peppermint cheesecake was delicious too! Can't wait to go back.
Not up to their past level of service
Food only fair ,servers not as friendly as in the past
Felt rushed. Out of several things on menu
Maybe time to update menu
Have dined there many times disappointed this time
Please bring back the quality of service and food that was there previously
This was not the first time we had been to Augusto's. Unfortunately, because of the holiday season, it was very very noisy. Service was good under the circumstances, bust we were very disappointed in the food. We ordered appetizers of fried calamari and mussels. The calamari were not as crisp as we had had them in other restaurants and the mussels were very tiny, less than half the size of my smallest fingernail. Our main courses were also disappointing. I ordered lamb chops. They were done perfectly, but were so tiny there was hardly more than one bite on each one. My husband ordered crab cakes which were good, but not both the same size. I don't think that we'll be back.
dinner is ALWAYS totally enjoyable and deeelish as usual. its a great place to go w/o the tumult of traffic, etc. and we never have to wait as reservations are honored.
lucky to live only 20 minutes away!
in other restaurants my husband gets strip steak but ALWAYS orders the filet at Augusto's saying it's THE BEST filet anywhere !
the best professional servers that truly care!
