Augustino's at the Augusta Marriott
The restaurant menu features a distinctly Italian flair with Certified Angus Beef steaks, fresh seafood and more casual offerings. An extensive wine list is available for diners to select and compliment any meal, in almost any price range.
While elegant, the atmosphere has been designed for the comfort of our guests with intimate booths, two private dinning spaces and an outdoor patio.
The restaurant is adjacent to the stately lounge and convenient to the hotel lobby Great Room.
Breakfast choices include ala carte dinning or an extensive breakfast buffet. Lunch service also features more casual ala carte selections as welll as a popular weekday pasta bar. Dinner service is all ala carte with daily and season specials.
So, I’m not sure they know what a poached egg is. Lol. The Benedict pizza was made with fried egg, not eggs Benedict. 😂😂😂 The waitress also had no idea what anything on the menu was, she went and got paper print outs of all the food.
Excellent service, quiet atmosphere.
Me and my gf had a lovely evening and the food was IMPECCABLE! Our server was such a delight. I think his name was Steven (Stephen). But it wasn’t my first time there and definitely won’t be my last!!!
Everything was pleasantly delightful, tasty and completely satisfying! The service was impeccable! I will certainly go back! U won’t be disappointed!
Salads, burgers and meatballs were excellent! We were seated in the NEW covered dining patio. Customer service was excellent!
A nice evening, our server was excellent, cocktails were prepared properly, appetizers and entrees were good just not excellent the menu could be a little more diverse as well as options for gluten/dairy free
Ordered a Ribeye Steak, $38 dollar steak, taste was ok, but it was a minute steak maybe 1/4 thick. Service was slow with maybe 10 people in the restaurant at 6pm. Disappointed to say the least.
Atmosphere and service was excellent. Avocado bruschetta was fantastic.
We ordered Ribeye Steak and it was a thin sliced flank like steak (have never seen Ribeye like this in my 58 yrs) also the creme brulee for dessert - it was COLD - we eat this all the time never cold- very disappointing
We made reservations and were seated right next to the hostess stand which doesnt offer any privacy. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits and the shrimp and sausage were good however my bowl was swimming in a half inch of oil. I was able to pick out the shrimp but getting to the grits was impossible unless you wanted a spoon full of oil. The server was fine however never refilled my empty tea glass, she delivered the bill and still never mentioned giving me a refill, just said she would be back to collect. It was not an enjoyable experience.
Super Bowl Sunday, for those who like to watch the game, this would be a very good location, for those who don’t, it is an alright location. The food is very good, but make certain that meal you order is the meal you receive and pay the correct price for the correct ordered meal. And if you want faster service at the end of your meal, allow one person to get up and good to the restroom, then they will run to your table. Lol The tables were not properly dresses, not certain if the napkins were from the previous guest napkins. Otherwise, the food is very good.
Our waiter was very accommodating. He helped me maneuver through the menu and had suggestions. He juggled a table of 8 of us with Grace.
The food was delicious and the waiter was awesome! We always enjoy it!
Great atmosphere with good food. Service was prompt, attentive polite and dedicated
The food was just okay. Some of the dishes we ordered were too salty - by a lot. We won't be going back. There are better options for Italian cuisine.
The Food was amazing and the service was fantastic!!! The hostess was extremely nice and our server as well I cannot remember there names but my reservation was on Monday November 25,2019 at 7:00 ... Thank You for making my boyfriends birthday special !!!
I made a reservation so that means they have my phone # on record. They could've called me to let me know beforehand that due to an influx of diners, food wait time would've been 45 minutes to an hour wait. Not only that, they didn't give us a discount for the inconvenience. The food was pretty good, but I have had better at the same price. Also, our waitress was nice, but unprofessional. For a restaurant that is high-end like that, the wait-staff shouldn't be talking loud to other customers and each other.
Staff was extremely courteous. Bread and appetizers were fantastic. Entree food but not great. Might need to do a little dusting- the banquet next to us was very dusty.
Expected better quality.
Presentation very ordinary
Service was excellent
Wonderful food and environment.
Just okay. We were disappointed as we generally find Marriott restaurants to be very good. May have just been an "off" night. Sent scallops back for fishy taste which usually means they are treated with something to make them last longer -- on a Sunday night when no one is getting fresh seafood, I should have known better. Staff was a accommodating but seemed unfamiliar with the menu and how things were prepared. Average experience for fairly high prices.
Good good brunch
Service and food was great!
My wife and I really enjoyed our 25th Wedding Anniversary Dinner at Augustino’s Restaurant. The food, service and ambiance were excellent. The restaurant was recommended by our children and we agree with their good taste. Note: We looked up Augustino’s on your website and you have outdated information regarding their menu. I recommend that you update your website information.
The chicken pot pie soup was delicious!! Never had that before. And my friend and I only had a small salad with it. Perhaps a price for just soup and salad could be available since we paid for the whole pasta bar and soup and salad. Otherwise, all was great. And the service is always the best at Augustino's.
Once a regular at Augustino's, I recently moved back to the area after a 10 year absence. I was looking forward to the excellent lasagna served at Augustino's. However, I was sorely disappointed as their entree selections have been pared to very few selections (which does not include lasagna).
I'm not sure what constitutes an "Italian Eatery" by definition, but I don't think that a total of 2 (two) Italian selections (Primavera, Bolognese) would qualify. Equally sparse are the seafood and steak selections.
Though our selections were "good" (Primavera, Bistro Steak), it will not be enough to warrant a return visit. I would suggest potential diners consult the online menu to assure suitable selections are available to meet expectations.
The food was amazing and the service was second to none. Our first visit and we will definitely go back.
For the most part it was an enjoyable evening. Our steaks were a little tough to be aged, but everything else was good.
Cameron Cobb was an excellent chef! The food was tasty and even my pick four year old enjoyed it!
I was not impressed. For a place that states it has prime meat we were served some sad steaks. They were extremely thin cuts and not at all flavorful. We had to salt the heck out of them and even then they were dry.
We were seated at a table surrounded by stairs the door leading to the terrace and the hostess stand. I asked to be seated at one of the other tables and was told that they were reserved although we had a reservation that was made days prior. Additionally, I asked if my steak meal could come without mushrooms and was told okay; yet when I received the meal my steak was cut into pieces and the accompanying sauce had mushrooms. When I reminded the waitress that I asked for no mushrooms, she said she didn’t hear me. Nevertheless, after saying it will be remade the way I requested, she returns 5 mins later saying it can’t be remade. By this point the rest of the table had finished eating so I just asked for the check. The food was mediocre at best and was not commensurate with the price paid. This was my first and last time dining at Augustine’s.
I reserved the table through open table and we had our table waiting on us even though we were 10 minutes late. My husband and I ordered calamari and oysters for appetizers and that was delicious. I will give a 5 star and above for those two. I ordered shrimp scampi and it was a disappointment. My husband ordered a steak and shrimp combo and he was overjoyed. He said it was the best he has had in Augusta. So, except the shrimp scampi, everything was great including the drinks. The ambience was great, and the wait time for food superseded our expectations. We ll definitely go back ..
My husband and I decided to eat some place different for us; it was our 35th wedding anniversary. I made reservations, we were seated right away. When handed the menu, I was shocked at the limited menu. Even the summer specials did not seem appealing. I was really hoping for a better selection of entrees. Location and ambiance was good; did not like the limited menu AT ALL. The best thing that we had was the calamari for an appetizer. Will not return for a dinner visit. I have eaten the lunch pasta bar; won't do the dinner menu again.
Food was very good but menu was somewhat limited. Unfortunately, our particular server did not provide adequate service. It took a long time to get our drinks and I had to ask the manager for refills. I also had to ask the manager for our bill at the end of dinner and to correct it for a charge for an item they did not have that night. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience.
Very pricey and steaks were overcooked. Service was good.
Lots of money for not so great food.
We came needing some quiet. They put us at a quiet table, the service was great, and the food was outstanding. It was a little pricey, but we certainly thought it was worth it.
Service and food were fantastic! Little pricey but worth it for a nice night out!!!
Lunch on Saturday, very slow in all respects.
