Augustino's at the Augusta Marriott
The restaurant menu features a distinctly Italian flair with Certified Angus Beef steaks, fresh seafood and more casual offerings. An extensive wine list is available for diners to select and compliment any meal, in almost any price range.
While elegant, the atmosphere has been designed for the comfort of our guests with intimate booths, two private dinning spaces and an outdoor patio.
The restaurant is adjacent to the stately lounge and convenient to the hotel lobby Great Room.
Breakfast choices include ala carte dinning or an extensive breakfast buffet. Lunch service also features more casual ala carte selections as welll as a popular weekday pasta bar. Dinner service is all ala carte with daily and season specials.
Staff was extremely courteous. Bread and appetizers were fantastic. Entree food but not great. Might need to do a little dusting- the banquet next to us was very dusty.

Just okay. We were disappointed as we generally find Marriott restaurants to be very good. May have just been an "off" night. Sent scallops back for fishy taste which usually means they are treated with something to make them last longer -- on a Sunday night when no one is getting fresh seafood, I should have known better. Staff was a accommodating but seemed unfamiliar with the menu and how things were prepared. Average experience for fairly high prices.

My wife and I really enjoyed our 25th Wedding Anniversary Dinner at Augustino’s Restaurant. The food, service and ambiance were excellent. The restaurant was recommended by our children and we agree with their good taste. Note: We looked up Augustino’s on your website and you have outdated information regarding their menu. I recommend that you update your website information.
The chicken pot pie soup was delicious!! Never had that before. And my friend and I only had a small salad with it. Perhaps a price for just soup and salad could be available since we paid for the whole pasta bar and soup and salad. Otherwise, all was great. And the service is always the best at Augustino's.
Once a regular at Augustino's, I recently moved back to the area after a 10 year absence. I was looking forward to the excellent lasagna served at Augustino's. However, I was sorely disappointed as their entree selections have been pared to very few selections (which does not include lasagna).
I'm not sure what constitutes an "Italian Eatery" by definition, but I don't think that a total of 2 (two) Italian selections (Primavera, Bolognese) would qualify. Equally sparse are the seafood and steak selections.
Though our selections were "good" (Primavera, Bistro Steak), it will not be enough to warrant a return visit. I would suggest potential diners consult the online menu to assure suitable selections are available to meet expectations.
The food was amazing and the service was second to none. Our first visit and we will definitely go back.
For the most part it was an enjoyable evening. Our steaks were a little tough to be aged, but everything else was good.
Cameron Cobb was an excellent chef! The food was tasty and even my pick four year old enjoyed it!
I was not impressed. For a place that states it has prime meat we were served some sad steaks. They were extremely thin cuts and not at all flavorful. We had to salt the heck out of them and even then they were dry.
We were seated at a table surrounded by stairs the door leading to the terrace and the hostess stand. I asked to be seated at one of the other tables and was told that they were reserved although we had a reservation that was made days prior. Additionally, I asked if my steak meal could come without mushrooms and was told okay; yet when I received the meal my steak was cut into pieces and the accompanying sauce had mushrooms. When I reminded the waitress that I asked for no mushrooms, she said she didn’t hear me. Nevertheless, after saying it will be remade the way I requested, she returns 5 mins later saying it can’t be remade. By this point the rest of the table had finished eating so I just asked for the check. The food was mediocre at best and was not commensurate with the price paid. This was my first and last time dining at Augustine’s.
I reserved the table through open table and we had our table waiting on us even though we were 10 minutes late. My husband and I ordered calamari and oysters for appetizers and that was delicious. I will give a 5 star and above for those two. I ordered shrimp scampi and it was a disappointment. My husband ordered a steak and shrimp combo and he was overjoyed. He said it was the best he has had in Augusta. So, except the shrimp scampi, everything was great including the drinks. The ambience was great, and the wait time for food superseded our expectations. We ll definitely go back ..
My husband and I decided to eat some place different for us; it was our 35th wedding anniversary. I made reservations, we were seated right away. When handed the menu, I was shocked at the limited menu. Even the summer specials did not seem appealing. I was really hoping for a better selection of entrees. Location and ambiance was good; did not like the limited menu AT ALL. The best thing that we had was the calamari for an appetizer. Will not return for a dinner visit. I have eaten the lunch pasta bar; won't do the dinner menu again.
Food was very good but menu was somewhat limited. Unfortunately, our particular server did not provide adequate service. It took a long time to get our drinks and I had to ask the manager for refills. I also had to ask the manager for our bill at the end of dinner and to correct it for a charge for an item they did not have that night. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience.
Very pricey and steaks were overcooked. Service was good.

We came needing some quiet. They put us at a quiet table, the service was great, and the food was outstanding. It was a little pricey, but we certainly thought it was worth it.

My sons high school graduation. Everything went well after our reservation was sorted out. The restaurant could not find our confirmed Open Table reservation. Thankfully they were not too busy and the manager ended up sitting us anyway.
Over priced, food not hot, portions small, waitress average in service and attitude.
I wasn't impressed. It was my 1st time visiting Augustinos. It was comparable to an olive garden experience; acceptable but not memorable.
It was expensive for average food. Not bad but nothing worth the cost. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Probably wouldn’t go back.
It was the perfect setting for my gradsons college graduation dinner. I visit Augustine’s mainly for family celebrations but the quality of the service and prices for gourmet meals, I should visit more often.

Every single employee we interacted with, coupled with a perfectly cooked and simply amazing cuisine, made for a “more than worth the reservation, time, and dime” experience! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Great place! Excellent service and food, very classic place.
Good for breakfast or lunch. Dinner was terrible experience. Waitress was inattentive, manager didn't care, food went back twice and still not right. Just the worst dining experience we've ever had anywhere! Too bad because hotel is beautiful and every other contact with staff at hotel and at this restaurant for breakfasts were wonderful. Just don't waste your time or money on dinner here!
The waitress was incredibly knowledgeable, and did her job way above normal waitress standards. The food was VERY good but extremely overpriced. We had three people and the bill was 137.00 before the tip and we drank water.
The calamari was excellent, and the special, golden snapper, was good, but the menu was extremely limited, with only about half the choices we found at our last visit about two months ago and that still show on their website. Very disappointing.

Everything was covered in dust, tables were not clean. the food was obviously frozen (minus the steak) and prepared poorly. my wife dinner was not edible due to the amount of lemon peel on her salmon. the topping on the salmon tasted like dish soap. Steak was ok, but not for how much it cost.
Service was good; food was not. It was abundantly clear that they used pasta that had been cooked some time in advance.
We were seated right away, service was somewhat prompt on taking orders, we both had the filet which was cooked as requested however the taste and tenderness was not what you would have expected for a 40$ six ounce filet. My date had the broccoli which was not so good, the star of the meal was the roasted Brussel sprouts, they truly were the best I have had. For desert we shared the peach pound cake with peach ice cream, really nothing to talk about. Overall it was a disappointing experience base in the reputation, I expected more for what I considered to be a very over priced meal.
Everything about the experience was great with the exception of my waiter.I carried my mother who has just lost my father to death,and the food and timeliness was great,however my waiter threw out leftover onion rings and bread I wanted to take home,so fresh had to be made and we waited 35 minutes to get the bill paid.
Our waitress was great! She made ordering easy. Our food was prepared exactly how we ordered it. She was friendly and she kept checking on us to make sure that we were well accommodated.
