The food overall was very good. We’d recommend the crab cakes appetizer and the goat cheese salad was outstanding. The prime rib and filet mignon were very good. The pork chop was disappointing. We really liked our experience and would go back.

Once again a wonderful meal at Augie’s. The food and service never disappoint. First time we took part in their Christmas Eve dinner and may have to make it a new tradition.

Augies is always a favorite for the food and professional service. This time was no different. I had the chicken duo which was very good, a little salty but still very good with the sautéed greens and polenta.

The butternut squash salad was good as well

It starts with excellent staff and consistently has excellent food using local proteins and vegetables in many dishes. Has the best appetizers imaginable and the dinner specials always please. The menu has options including beef, chicken, pork, lamb and seafoods. It has some vegetarian options and the cook will always adjust to make you happy. Great drink specials and desserts.

Great food and service. No parking problems. I think it’s the best restaurant in Springfield, and I’ve been in them all.

We host a small group of locals and visitors a couple times a year and they usually ask to meet at Augies for a good dinner. Lots of yummy choices on the menu for the light eaters as well as the steak eaters. Gabe gave us great service. We all enjoyed it and will be back!

It was another wonderful birthday for my husband and his favorite - scallops! - were featured on the menu. I had a wonderful pasta dish. Seth was our server and was very attentive. Thank you again Augie’s for a special evening.

Bouillabaisse was outstanding as usual. Two in party ordered the German specials which were OK. Much busier than usual therefore service was not as attentive as usual.
Looking forward to red snapper special in near future.

Aaron our server was fantastic. The red snapper was excellent. We also had the New York, and warm goat cheese salad which were both very good. The crab cakes were ok, but maybe only ok since everything else was SO good. Overall great experience.

Recommended by a friend, went on Thrifty Thursday but decided to eat off regular menu. Things started off a little rough when we needed time to decide upon a beverage and then our server vanished. Finally asked another server to find him and after that things were fine. Server seemed to be dealing with a large party in the back of the restaurant, which may have affected our service. Other servers were very efficient and in fact helped clear our table at times. Ordered sangria and two entrees that were excellent. Place was not packed but groups came and went. Some did not know how to use their ‘inside voices’, not the restaurant’s fault. While some art was on the walls, overall, not a lot going on.

Tried to add photos but doesn’t seem to be working. I had great lobster bisque and excellent port cheeks and other diner had excellent hanger steak.

Food was great. Service was forgettable and decor is dingy. If they could clean up the inside this would be a nice date spot or good for business meeting and would be worth the $100+ bill

A tablecloth on the table would have been nice since the restaurant is a little pricey and upscale. Wine glasses, not servings, was more like one you’d find in a bar. Better dinner rolls or bread instead of Sister Schubert rolls would have added something also.

Very good rack of lamb, although not the most tender I’ve ever had. Nice salad, and bread pudding dessert. My friends were all very pleased with their dinners. Two had a creole pasta dish and one had the salmon.

Service was good and the appetizers and soup were promising. Main course was subpar for the price. Had the prime rib special and although cooked well, was not a decent cut of meat. Was a bit disappointed in the end for the amount I paid. I can say I’ve eaten there but will most likely never return as there are better competitors at the same price value in town.

Very good restaurant for the Springfield area, I am very picky when it comes to Duck Dishes. The Chef is also the owner has a special twist on preparing the dish. He is Polish but cook with Asian, French Fusion. A must if ever in the area!!!
