Audi Club Yankee Stadium Ratings and Reviews
The buffet is expensive, but compared to the food in the stadium (which is already expensive) it’s a pretty good deal and the food itself was quite good. Good to get a drink at the bar before the game starts. Crowd was very into the game and cheered wildly when the Yankees won.
We went to the Audi Club before Game 3 of the ALCS... it was nice to get food other than 'ballpark' food. Don't get me wrong ballpark food is part of the whole experience but I have some dietary restrictions which can make eating at the Stadium tricky so the Audi Club is a welcomed change. The food is fresh and they prepare it in front of you. I'd never think of eating sushi at any ballpark but its really good here! Richard was our server and he was very attentive! The salad bar was freshly cut, and the carving station was delicious! It was a very enjoyable experience!
I have been dining here since its opening in 2009. Although the food is still good, it has become very standardized over the years. It formerly featured a much greater variety--including such delights as lobster tails, crab legs, even soft shell crab--but no more. This year the gelato stand was replaced by Ben and Jerrys ice cream. It just seems to be in steady and slow decline when it comes to variety. The beef selection is almost always very good. Will return but with less enthusiasm and frequency as before.
We have season tickets with access to the Audi Yankees Club. We invited clients to the game and thoroughly enjoyed a pregame dinner here. Although a buffet, there were a massive array and variety of foods. Every in our group of six had a wonderful time! We were not charged for a bottle of wine when the cork got damaged. Their ice creams were amazing!
Went to the Audi Club before the Yankees game and while the ambiance is nice the service was terrible. Waiter was curt, never asked if we wanted another round of drinks. And a warm beer was not a good start. Food buffet was good but pricey and at the end I got a cold coffee with coffee grinds. Definitely not worth the money. At least the Yankees won so all was not lost
Service was very slow. Waited about 15 min before someone came to take Drink orders. Did not receive drinks until we were almost done with first course of food. All the food was cold, cheesesteak, French fries, onion rings, hot dogs. Hard to enjoy ice cold food that should be eaten hot. Desert pastries look much better than they taste. An overprice mediocre experience.
Although the experience at the Audi Club was as usual, excellent, getting inside was a horrible experience. My group of four entered Gate 2. My husband and son-in-law headed up to the Audi Club while my daughter and I had to endure an extraordinary long line for security. When were subjected to a scanner similar to the airport for our purses. One guard was manning the scanning machine. So while our partners were already upstairs having drinks, we were stuck at the gate, as our tickets were on my husband's phone!
What a disaster! We have been attending games and dinner at the Audi Club for many years and have never encountered such a debacle. Makes us question weather to return.
I have season tix and frequent the Audi club often. Last night was my Birthday, and we went . Food was awesome - as always but the service just sucked. We
Sat down and the waiter came to take our drink order, and vanished. We couldn't get drink refill, our dirty empty plates piled on the table as we went to get more food and wine glasses were empty. Finally the waiter came by after 45 minutes and asked if we wanted out check... which i was handed promptly. This isn't the norm, but it was definitely disappointing considering 4 of us cost 274.00 with out tip
We have eaten at Audi every season, to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, and have always enjoyed the service, food and choice, but were very disappointed this time by the lack of food choice. The dessert bar was limited to cookies (no ice cream or cake), no shrimp cocktail and limited fruit bowl - all items we expected, based on past experience. The manager listened to our concerns and was very apologetic.
Again great experience. The tomahawk steak is outstanding. Waiter Richard very attentive. Debra hostess very pleasant and seated promptly . Great value but you need to be season ticket holder with seniority for access. Best value is purchasing least expensive ticket and spend bulk of game here on a hot summer day instead of sitting in 90 degree heat.
Very slow to enter as everyone arrives at the same time. Need to improve the time taken to get a drink at the table as well as get a check as they rush you out before the next seating.
Need to improve the salad bar section.
Food generally good and concept works.
Definitely worth the $$$! Our access to the Audi club did not include the buffet, but we wanted to eat, so we reserved a table for 4. The food was incredible! We dined in comfort, and went back for seconds. We didn't feel rushed even though our reservation ended. Next time we will reserve seats in the club to watch the game! I would recommend as a special occasion treat.
Great place. Excellent food. Pleasant hostess Debra. Seated promptly at 12:50 for 1 pm reservation. Kids had great time watching from inside. Waiters very attentive. Just get their name and catch them when you get up for food.
Gourmet salads, steak shrimp, sushi(although very thinly sliced) and innumerable desserts.
On a hot day, couldnt get better. Make sure you get a table near railing so you can see some of the game through glass.
Will be back soon.
Normally come for 5:30 before start of the Yankee Game. Excellent food quality and well worth the price compared to buying food in the stadium. They switch up the food from time to time keeping it different. They always have a salad bar, sushi and carving station. Great variety of desserts as well.
Great food, atmosphere. More than enough tv to see game . Ask for a table next to Audi club seats and you will be able to watch through window. Very pleasant hostess Debra. Vance and Richard always around for drinks - not sure about reviews concerning service. Quality of food was excellent- fine dining buffet style. Sushi, great salads, shrimp cocktail, pasta, fillet mignon or tomahawk steak. Only ballpark fare were Hebrew National Dogs.
This was our second visit to the Audi Club. We enjoyed the first visit enough to return. But right from the start this night was a disappointment. We had reservations for a 7 pm seating and we arrived right on time. The hostess desk had 3 people working, but it was totally chaotic. Apparently, no one bothered to have the diners from the first session clear out so that the restaurant staff could clean and prep the tables for the 7 pm seating. The head hostess was scribbling down the names and cell phone numbers of the reservations on napkins as people checked in. She said the wait would be about 5 to 10 minutes as they were waiting for tables to be cleared. After about 20 minutes (the game was already well into the first inning by now and we are still waiting in the lobby area), she seated the people ahead of us and told someone else they were next. And then she seated a group that was waiting a short while because, "he was getting loud." This did not sit well with those of us who had been waiting patiently and quietly. After about another 10 minutes we were finally seated. We had an awful seat practically in the doorway of the restaurant. It was as far from the windows as possible and only two of the four seats faced any of the TV screens.
I really believe that a better system is needed for the restaurant check in and table assignment.
The buffet was very good and had a variety of choices. I think the $60 per person cost is a bit high, but the quality of the food was good. I especially enjoyed the mushroom risotto and the filet of beef. They said the options change each game, but there was a huge salad bar and sushi station, a couple of meats, hot dogs, ice cream and desserts.
I would not rush back to the Audi Club anytime soon after this experience.
Audi club was recommended to me by my children who dined there recently. I expected it to be more fine dining but buffet style. It seemed more cafeteria style/busy/hustle bustle, but it was quite casual and perfect for any occasion. Our server, Angel, was very good.
I must say that the hostess staff seemed quite moody. Maybe something happened before we arrived, but when a hostess gets like that, they should go take a break, gain their composure and come back to the desk, as there were many others besides her working the desk.
Would definitely do this again -- loved all the food choices and servers were super friendly!
