What an incredible dining experience. Flawless food and service. I was very impressed. As a global traveler I appreciate good food and service. Rarely does it all come together so well . Nice job. A+ on everything!!!

Great place just across the Central Park: Central Park South. Nice people served us. Food is delicious. Especially many thanks to Rachel for the perfect birthday cake. We really loved it.😊

With a name like Auden, the bar has to be good. Or maybe not.
Skip the restaurant and have a drink in the magnificent adjoining bar area. Lots of cozy seats and a high ceiling. A great, atmospheric refuge the manic Columbus Circle crowds and traffic. You can order from a bar menu.
The restaurant has more choice but much less in the way of ambiance.
I had the onion soup, not bad, and the lemon sole, soggy and bland.
Our waiter kindly arranged for us to move to a table away from a trio of high-volume, pink cocktail-chugging young women gabbing on their cell phones about the virtues of pave wedding rings vs. traditional rocks. Why we were seated next to them in the first place is another question, because the dining room was pretty empty.
It only took two requests for our drinks to be served.

Extremely slow service. Hardly any tables were occupied for an early lunch and food took almost 45 minutes to be served. Given the prices, service should have been on point.

The food is no where near the price or “Ritz” level. The waiter got our order wrong, the salad wasn’t very good, and the main dish we had was weak. Very few vegetarian options.

We planned a nice night out and imagined this would be the place to go. The food was good but not great and certainly not worth the prices charged. The ambience was terrible- it felt like an average hotel restaurant and far from a fine dining experience.

Always a sublime dining experience. If the food doesn't dazzle you, the staff surely will! Zaheer and his crew make every meal a special occasion. The fruit plate is almost too pretty to eat, however, the freshness makes it irresistible. Despite the plethora and variety of the menu items, the chef is willing to accommodate any special requests- vegan, gluten-free, low cal. I can't forget the fresh squeezed orange juice or the amazing smoothies. We make this a "must-visit" every time we go to NYC. The location can't be beaten. Inside the luxurious Ritz Carlton at Central Park, Auden is our first stop before walking off the meal in the park just across the street. After endless refills of the best coffee, we always have plenty of energy.

We visit Auden whether we stay at the Ritz or not. The food is delish! We LOVE breakfast there before a nice walk in Central Park just across the street. Our favorite is the eggs benedict, the egg white omelete and fresh squeezed juices. I tried a new menu item, the turkey muffin - fantastic! The fruit plate is terrific year round. The portions are perfect. The main draw for our visit though is the outstanding service! Zaheer, our server, is like an old family friend. He recognizes us and makes us feel at home. All the staff is superb and extremely accommodating. Our coffee cups are never empty.

Since my last time there menu options and portion size shrunk while prices stayed the same. Would greatly benefit from a price-fixe business lunch option to attract more local business and not be just a hotel coffee shop. Lovely quiet setting.

Hostess was the only one, who met Ritz service standards: polite, polished and customer service oriented. Our server was a joke. Example: we had to keep asking for waters to be refilled. For an $11 for cup of coffee, service should be excellent.

The Bistro is casual in atmosphere, but high end in gastronomic delights. I had the scallops in a saffron and fresh tomato sauce over capellini and it was absolutely delicious! My husband had the NY Strip. He had ordered it very rare, and it unfortunately came to him well done. He sent it back and they made him a new steak that was cooked to perfection. They were apologetic and very accommodating. The prices are not small, so I would recommend that it be saved for special occasions.

Less than stellar for location.
Service lacked energy and simple courtesy. When we asked for balsamic vinegar - we got a thick vinaigrette. ( water glass was empty for 20 + minutes and we had to ask for refill)
Food was just ok... lacked flavor.

The food was ok but for this kind of hotel I would expect a better service. The side dish came about 10 minutes after the entree, we had to remind the waiter about our drink, there were so many tealeaves in the tea that it turned bitter after two minutes.
Our reservation was for 5.30pm so there was no crowd but the service was slow.
Not what I would expect from a Ritz Carlton.
