Had a delightful lunch with friends. All our dishes were superb. You can’t ask for a better view of the Napa Valley from the patio. The service was excellent and the wait staff very friendly. I highly recommend Auberge for a friends get-together lunch.
Great view, wine, food and service always great. We ate the halibut and it was superb
25th Anniversary lunch. View is amazing and while our
food was really delicious it is quite expensive for lunch. Best deal is the house rose’. Exceptionally good!
Sadly it was definitely the worst Michelin rated restaurant I have ever been to. The soup came out bland and I expressed this to the waitress and their answer was that's why there is salt on the tables. The next dish that came out was overly salty which makes me believe they were over compensating for the first dish. The third dish veal and it was delicious apart from the side greens that were overly sour for the dish. Didn't help we were at the French Laundry for lunch that same day.
Is the chef Curry there for too long .? This was today my fifth or Sixth experience in this usually outstanding place. Same elegance and very professional and friendly service, same amazing, wine list but disappointing cuisine. Where is the old time creativity of the chef? i still remember today some dishes that i have eaten 10 y ago ! What we had today did not deserve a Michelin star and was even very far from it. The season salad from the fixed day menu was ordinary, the buratta de bufala was slightly dry (i even asked for some olive oil) and the accompagning vegetables tasteless; tasteless were also the tuna and the halibut that we had as main course. The chef seems to have forgotten that provencal cuisine is always based on herbs and spices.
We had a good time because of the amazing view, the good wine and the nice service given by Alishia. Thank God the atmosphere made for the cuisine. In my eyes the shining of the Auberge has lost today its intensity.
Great view, nice place, good service, so so food.
Worth the view at lunch.
Always a pleasure going back.
Will make this under 140 characters, Twitter style. Excellent from beginning to end. Not one mistake made. A week-day lunch turned into a memorable occasion beyond my expectation.
Food was amazing, service is impeccable, and the view of the valley is top notch. Highly recommended.
Our waiter Michael was simply the best! The food, wine and ambiance was very special. Not cheap! But well worth the treat x
Excellent lunch Prix fix menu! Dessert was incredible! Loved it! Great impression on my date!
First time we went we loved it here....this time.....not so much. Food was very good and ambience of course was amazing. However, service was certainly not great. It was not bad, it was that our server, John S, rushed us. He was very nice but this is not the restaurant to be rushed. We literally had wine, 3 courses, and dessert in 90 minutes!! And, he actually picked up the completed check (after CC signature and tip) while we were still sitting there!! That is my ultimate faux pas.
Disappointed.... we will be skipping Auberge during our next trip to Napa.
We’ve choose the 4 course experience. It was amazing from the start to the desert and special cheeses. The service was perfect and the view from balcony is stunning. They have a lot of excelents wine options by glass.
Be ready to spent around US$ 450 per couple.
Our waiter Alex alongside the rest of the wait staff were extremely friendly. We sat outside on the terrace for breaskfast and was one of the nicest views I’ve experience while eating
Best part is the view! Food is very good and service is spot on, but the view is outstanding.
Excellent service, food and view! A must when in Napa
We always love breakfast and dinner here! Every time we have visitors we make sure to reserve a meal here! There’s nothing more we can say!
One of the most amazing dining experiences. Everything was perfect, from warm introduction, exceptional service and then the food experience to match. I know it is on the expensive side for a lot of people, but go pamper yourselves! (My wife and I would go to the restaurant many times, but unfortunately we do not live in California, we were vacationing from Charleston, SC).
We had a fabulous birthday dinner, amazing views, delicious food and the staff couldn’t have been better.
Michael was the best service we had in a long time. Made our weekend! Thank you for the wonderful service, food and atmosphere! :)
Amazing spot for a special occasion meal. Went for brunch, which is a $75/pp pre-fixe and it was absolutely worth it. Incredible service, attention to detail, make every guest feel like a VIP.
Amazing. Cannot be beaten as a memorable night out!
Excellent food, wine, service and ambiance. Some annoying bugs in the terrace but fairly minor.
As always, wonderful fine dining.
Our server was efficient but 'distant'.
Elizabeth our Sommelier, however, was excellent - knowledgable, helpful and friendly. She made our dinner more enjoyable......... Bravo !
It was nice but would have been much better if there wasn’t construction going on.
Amazing views, exquisite food, and remarkable service. Best scallop I have ever tasted.
This is a great restaurant, but for the price it should have been one of the best meals I ever had. The ambience and the service were best of the best. The food was very good, but in itself not memorable. Ergo the 4 star rating.
I had booked a 2 hour massage for my husband and a 1.5 hr facial for myself. We arrived at the spa an hour before our treatment and extremely enjoyed the pools. The treatments were wonderful as well. Then we had lunch at the restaurant, enjoyed the amazing food and service, not to mention, the breath-taking view. Definitely a very special moment. Pricey but worth it!
You can eat a lot better for a lot less
Went there to celebrate my sisters 30th and 38th birthday. The food was fantastic! Did’nt think we could still have foie gras In california, So it was a pleasant surprise. But our waitress was condescending. Her only comments to us before taking our order was: No substitution and do you understand the menu? It irked me even more when I noticed her interacting with other patrons and she actually took the time to go over the menu and made recommendations. Overall: Good food and great views! Service will likely be good if you look like a certain group of people.
The restaurant is lovely. Our server was delightful. The food was excellent. We really enjoyed our experience.
The ambiance amazing, the food amazing . The view amazing. Loved it
Vista espectacular. Comida bien balanceada y en cantidades adecuadas. La carta de vinos muy completa, tanto locales como extranjeros.
Buen servicio y sazón
Lo único negativo la calefacción que al final llego a ser muy molesta dado que no hacía tanto frío
In town for spring break and my husband's 60th birthday. We were extremely disappointed in our server. He did not introduce himself to the table and overall he was very short and hurried. We really enjoyed our food and the view was amazing but the lack of good service tainted our experience! We expected more from a Michelin rated restaurant server.
Gnocchi and Foie Gras were delicious (although the Foie Gras could have been a little bigger). My wife loved her risotto, and the lobster salad salad had a generous portion of lobster with a nice curry flavor to the salad. Great view and ambiance. Of all the nice lunches we’ve had, I’d say that was in our top 5 of all time.
My wife and I spent a day at Napa Valley, and looked for a place to have lunch. We found "Auberge du Soleil" on OpenTable, and went there. The view is lovely, the place is quiet, and the food is amazing. I got the Gnocchi and the Risotto. My wife which has Gluten allergy got the Asparagus soup and the Sautéed Petrale Sole. We shared the desert. Food was amazing. Highly recommended.
