We enjoyed every part of our lunch experience. It was amazing and we will return in the future.
Amazing views and good was delicious.
Auberge du Soleil was a wonderful experience with exquisite food and impeccable service. I am still raving about the Basil Limonata cocktail, definitely give that a try. We opted for the four-course fixed menu and the portions were perfectly sized to get through the whole meal. The only thing we did wrong was booking an 8pm dinner reservation so we didn't get to take advantage of the view, we will be back, but next time for sunset.
Views where why we wanted to eat here and there were non existent at night but still paid the price to eat here. Food was good and service was okay but bot worth the price tag to eat dinner here.
Food was exquisite . Our server was attentive , knowledgeable, and professional . Highly recommend
TRUE MICHELIN STAR QUALITY AS GOOD AS AND BETTER THAN MANY MICHELIN STARRED IN EUROPE
Wow! Everything from the service to the view was spectacular! We dined here for my boyfriend’s birthday brunch— the burrata, short rib and pumpkin cheesecake were standouts. Alicia was a wonderful server and everyone else was exceptionally attentive. We will be back!
Auberge do Soleil has not lost its magic over the years. This is always my quintessential stop for lunch when entertaining special guest in the Napa Valley. The gnocchi were especially delicious!
There was a very loud and drunk group near our table which marred the experience!
Great view and food as always! Went for my birthday.
Food was delicious, Service was superb. With a beautiful view and a perfect weather, we couldn’t ask for more. We’ll definitely come back.
Service was great; food was good; value for food was fair. You pay for the name.
The food portions are a joke. Prices are ridiculous. I had better restaurant experiences. Gastronomy is my pasión but this particular restaurant experience just turned it off.
Valet parking was a mess (I finally gave up and parked myself). No ambient lighting in the parking lot meant headlights blinded other drivers, and the valets were immature and extremely unprofessional (essentially blamed it on me, which was a joke!). If I could give a negative score, I would. (Once inside, everything was fine except for the loud party downstairs which all but ruined the ambience. Would have been nice to have a heads-up from the management via email, text, or phone call that we could expect that much noise and commotion. I guess these things are no longer common sense in today’s marketplace—or perhaps it’s just too much to expect outside of a very select echelon of establishments.) Bottom line: won’t be coming back or recommending, which is really too bad because the location is lovely and the food was decent.
Amazing brunch/lunch at Rutherford. The sole and lemon tart were great choices. Will be back. Thank you for wonderful views and tasty food.
Service and food were top notch. One of the best dining experiences of my life. My only problem was the food was so good, we ate too much!! Must do if you visit Napa. Request to sit outdoors.
The terrace here offers once-in-a-lifetime views. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, even those who don't enjoy food or fine dining. Just consider the price like purchasing a ticket to a spectacular show.
Una sinfonía para el paladar.
Auberge is a lovely facility in a lovely setting. The restaurant is primarily a price fixed menu with a choice of three or four courses. The food is very good but not worthy of a 4.8 rating on Open Table. It is fairly expensive. There are a few better options in Napa Valley. Our server was very good and helpful though. Their wine list was also very extensive with some very affordable options. I was surprised and pleased by this.
This restaurant is AMAZING!!!! Everything was top notch!
First of all, you cannot beat this view! It is by far our favorite restaurant view and we live in Hawaii!
The service was great! Very friendly, attentive, and accommodating . I forgot my sweater so they offered to turn up the heater and loaned me a shawl.
The food was sooo good! We each got the 4 course meal.
For me it was the chilled lobster, red snapper, duck, and chocolate dessert. (Sorry I cannot remember the names)
My husband got the scallop, risotto, lamb, and pear dessert. In between we both got complimentary amuse Bouche which was soo good!
Highly recommend this place for special occasions and first timers and those on vacation to Napa! It’s definitely worth the $$$$$.
We enjoyed our experience so much we can’t wait to come back!
We had a magical luncheon. The view was spectacular, the weather perfect, and the food...wonderfully conceived and executed. We will return on our next trip to the Napa Valley.
The scenery was beautiful! The service was friendly, but stuffy. The food was good.
This is still the best terrace in the valley. Awesome food and service.
We were very please with everything! Server was very friendly and knowledgeable, Joe. We have recommended to others since yesterday. See you soon.
Best scenic view in all of Napa Valley! The food is absolutely delicious too!
Always one of the best places in Napa.
My daughter and I really enjoyed the restaurant. The food was well presented and delicious and the atmosphere was lovely.
Maggie made our dining experience memorable along with her staff that helped out. Superb hospitality!
Elegant outdoor setting. Servers experienced. View is supposedly great in daylight. I think this is overpriced on every level and we are experienced with Auberge prices. Would not repeat.
Food experience was fantastic. Relatively light night traffic wise however seatings were congregated in a common section - would have enjoyed more privacy but overall the complete experience was fantastic and would recommend to anyone in the area.
Great experience. Wonderful place to celebrate our 25th anniv.
I have been wanting to try this place for years, and we finally did for my husband’s 49th bday. We enjoyed a quick 2 night stay in Napa and was able to secure a 11:30 lunch reservation on our day of departure. We had stayed in Calistoga, about a 20 minute drive away. We shared a bottle of Rutherfill Hill wine with our lunch consisting of the lobster salad, ahi tuna and braised short rib. Short rib was amazing, ahi tuna very good and lobster salad a bit undercooked and just ok we thought. While I did expect more, the venue/view are worth it, however I wouldn’t stay at the hotel nor dine here again given all the other great options in the area. The Fairmont Sonoma Inn has a Michelin starred restaurant that we think is phenomenal. We also drove up the hill to taste at Rutherford Hill since the wine served with lunch was very good, and we enjoyed tasting and purchased the petite Verdot and some cab. Not as good as Phelps or Larkmead, but still good.
Delicious afternoon lunch, wonderful food and view, timely service, not complaints. Just got hot on this particular afternoon lunch and we were dressed for a cool fall day. Otherwise wonderful experience
A lovely atmosphere and great service. We had a lovely wedding anniversary lunch.
Truthfully a fairly big disappointment. The only reason I gave it more than 2 stars was because the view was beautiful. The patio area is great. The good is honestly below average at best. Small portions, very expensive, and not very good! Would only ever come again for a drink on the patio, never to eat again.
I took my husband here for an early birthday dinner and we had a wonderful time! The food was incredible, the wine pairings were fantastic and the atmosphere was romantic and enjoyable. Our server was great and the staff was very attentive, there were a few plate swaps and a drink that took a little long to get to us but it was a busy night and none of these things took away from our experience at all! The only "negative" was that we were sitting on the patio and at one point someone below us was smoking a cigarette, but I believe the staff asked them to move because it was just a brief exposure to the smell. Otherwise the patio was lovely, I just wish we had been there while it was light out to see the view!
Exquisite experience. Really enjoyed the top notch food and attentive staff.
Great value for a Michelin star restaurant, even better if you get the pre-set menu of the day, to which you can add on extra meals if you plan to share with other people.
I really enjoyed the ambiance as the terrace overlooks the beautiful wine yards of the valley.
I was there with an infant and was worried it would have felt uncomfortable being in such a location with a tiny but possibly loud human being but everyone was accommodating and pleasant with our overtired baby.
Make sure to reserve a table otherwise you won’t be seated; if you’re out of luck try the Bistrò which is next door and can offer the same view onto Napa Valley
