Beautiful place with a serene atmosphere, service was impeccable and the food was some of the best I've had. I would absolutely consider having my wedding here one day. 10/10 will return
Second time here for summerlicious and still love it 😊
The food was an excellent choice. Very good service but I find your alcoholic beverages a little steep. Would have enjoyed sitting outside. Maybe next time.
Our family was having a Summerlicious dinner there last week, and everything was going great until a fly flew onto my knife and made things seem pretty unfortunate. However, the server (his name was Deni but i believe his name may be spelled differently), insisted that this was not how the restaurant was run and decided to give me a glass of wine on the house! But it doesn't end there...
Shortly afterwards, ANOTHER FLY FLEW INTO MY WINE GLASS LOL. I wasn't upset (I don't really drink wine), but it was just funny and unfortunate that it would happen to me again! I felt bad telling Deni about the next incident just because I didn't want to inconvenience him. But, as I was egged on by my family to tell him what happened, he swiftly got me another glass of wine and everything was great again.
As we were about to ask for our bill, Deni came over and told us that dinner was on the house that night. This wasn't normal, and assured that they were "better than this". I was fascinated by not only getting an amazing and free meal, but also the extent to which Auberge du Pommier goes to make sure their guests are satisfied. I would DEFINITELY recommend coming to this place, for its ambience, friendly staff, and classy vibes make it a memorable experience. Shoutout to Deni, you a real one!!!
Went with a friend for Summerlicious 2018 dinner. Food was great, and service was even better. The price is absolutely worth it for the quality that you get.
Nice spot for casual summer lunch with special friends.
Simply wonderful meal and experience.
Went for summerlicious - had decent options considering the lower price - food and service was prefect
The flavours knocked our socks off. We attended during Summerlicious, which was a good deal. Otherwise, a little pricy but the food is excellent. Service was top-notch as well. Quiet and cozy setting.
Poor food quality and manor of service was not good. Food was not valuable and not even tasty.
We enjoyed the Summerlicious menu and found it to be quite nice. We were impressed by the apps and the dessert but a little disappointed in the main. We think it might have had to do with the Summerlicious event and that if we had ordered A La Carte it might have been more impressive.
I had the Salmon and my husband had the Cornish Hen Cordon Blu, both a little over done and lacked a "wow" factor. Loved the outstanding service and would definitely love to come back.
We were seated and then proceeded to wait 20 minutes until the server returned and took our order. When I made the comment "We thought you forgot about us" in a friendly tone she was visibly not happy with the comment and developed and attitude.
Entrees undercooked to our taste but graciously amended by excellent staff and service. Otherwise, an outstanding dining experience.
Great foods & great services. Very peaceful environment. Highly recommended. Will go again
Incredible service, delicious food, great and accommodating with my nut allergy.
Went for summerlicious, lunch with the girlfriend. It was totally worth it.
Our chicken supreme and our steak were...chicken and a steak. The appetizers and deserts stole the show. Boar crockets had a full flavour, salad had some kind of unexpected pickled ingredint (pear?). Panna cotta was a typical execution but perfect. My parfait was light and refreshing. But of everything I’d say the potato salad was the best. Light, fluffy, tangy, but also somehow rich. Perfect with the flat iron.
Go to auberge for great execution of classic dishes, with a few unexpected touches.
Always great atmosphere, amazing service, delicious and creative food. We love this gem the most from all the French restaurants and keep coming back for special occasions.
Delicious food with serene ambiance. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
I have a little unhappy with this restaurant because the summerlious dinner menu almost like lunch. It's not good for me because I have already eaten a summerlious lunch at here.
This place never disappointed me. It's always good for special occasions!
Not happy with the service!
Everything else was good.
Excellent menu, very attentive waiter. Very good team work with the staff.
We’re there for summerlicious. For $53 can’t expect top quality. But the steak we’ve ordered was tasteless. The steak knife wasn’t too sharp. My friend first time there and was very disappointed. However, I’ve to the restaurant before. I enjoyed the atmosphere there very much.
My parents went for their 29th anniversay. Every year I love having them go however the only reason why why gave 4 star rating instead of 5 is because of the bread they serve. For such a high end restaurant they should serve a better baguette or higher quality bread. My parents said it was very hard and not fresh. Besides that every year they really enjoy their time at auberge.
Very good experience and will definitely return....
The meal was wonderful, the only exception was the chocolate cake which was a little dry. But otherwise lovely.
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Auberge. We were seated in the area we requested, beside the outdoor patio, but inside. It was quieter than the main dining-room and very pleasant. The waiter was knowledgeable and professional. Our meal was delicious and beautifully presented.
Thank you Auberge.
We had a lovely meal at this restaurant. It was so classy and we were very impressed with the quality of the food. Very tasty!
Was there during the summerlicious.
The menu was pair, the dishes were bad.
Went for summerlicious, food was ok, service not great. Ordered a bottle of wine but had to ask server each time to fill our glasses. Had higher expectation for this restaurant.
Been out here for every occasion.
Very nice experience every time
We came to try their Summerlicious menu on a Friday night. The host and waiters were very friendly and seemed to know their job well.
Since Auberge is known to be one of the landmark restaurants in Toronto, we had some expectations for a great meal. We knew that Summerlicious isn’t the best way to really get to know a restaurant, but did expect some good food and elevated dishes.
For first courses we each ordered different dishes so we had the chance to try all 4 on the menu. Pressed rabbit terrine was a disaster. I was shocked by how dry and unflavored it was. It tasted like chicken salad leftovers. The green salad was just like an ordinary salad you’ll get at any family restaurant in town. Nothing bad but definitely not special. The cold pea soup was fresh but heavy and was difficult to finish. As for the trout, I guess it was ok. I didn’t try it.
For mains we had steaks and one salmon. The steaks were well prepared medium-rare, but came with “braised cheek” that was just a tablespoon size of some shredded meat. Along with that there were some very tasty potatoes and two pieces of broccoli. Small and uninspiring dish. Again, not bad but kinda resembled wedding catering food, nothing great, just ok.
The salmon was decently prepared but again, you could get salmon like that in any mid-level restaurant like Milestones.
For dessert we had the panacotta and the chocolate sponge cake. The panacotta was ok (again, nothing special) but the cake was absolutely a joke and tasted like a cake from Costco.
I rarely write anything negative about restaurant since I usually respect the hard work involved, but this time we felt like someone was trying to just put some food on the plate with no real effort to cook something great.
The waiter never offered us bread with our soup, although I saw it on other tables. After we finished our dessert, no one asked if we wanted coffee and after waiting a while, we had to flag down a waiter and ask if it was possible to order coffee. The main restaurant was crammed with small tables that detracted from the usual atmosphere. We have come ti Auberge for many years, but seriously doubt if we will return. Ambiance was not as good and neither was service.
Wonderful food and service. There was an element of surprise in each serving. Thank you Andrew for your wine recommendation.
Was a great experience and food was excellent.
Wonderful as usual!
Just a special family lunch together.
Only improvement would be if there was a way to get rid of the noisy trucks just outside the patio.
It’s one of my favorite French restaurants in town. But during summerlicious time you can’t expect it to keep up with its usual standards. I found the waiter extremely impatient
Nice venue for Summerliscous, beautiful atmosphere, intriguing food and nice spot for lunch
