Auberge du Pommier
Led by Executive Chef John Horne and Chef de Cuisine Malcolm Campbell, Auberge du Pommier is defining contemporary French cooking in Canada. The cuisine honours both the refined techniques and rustic styles of classic French fare, with an innovative North American accent.

Never fails! My birthday is always complete being here. Food is always amazing even though I always order the same thing! Service is always on point! Thank you for being the best
We were there for our fourth anniversary....My wife loved everything...the food, the ambiance, the service!
Everything was perfect!
We will be sure to attend again for our next special occasion....or perhaps just when we need some more!
I have been recommending l’Auberge for years and keep coming back myself eveytime I am in the City.
Auberge du Pommier has a relaxed refinement about it: The ambiance is superb - there is actually French in the air. The food is excellent - we had the duck and the monkfish, and all 4 of us were happy with our choices. The sumac pain perdu and the parsley root were unusual, but they made the dish interesting. The duck was perfect. The Creme Brulee was also interestingly different, but very tasty. Our waitress didn't only have the nicest French accent, she also made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We also enjoyed the amuse bouche and the extra sweets at the end of the dinner. All in all, a very enjoyable evening.
It was an amazing restaurant with great food and service. I would definitely recommend this to my friends. It's a great place for special occasions.
Food was excellent! Among the appetizers, the mushroom soup, beet salad, foie gras, and scallops were really great; the escargot and hamachi were just okay. With the mains, the lamb and monkfish/tortellini were great, the duck was surprisingly tender, and the phyllo/brie was good. Dessert also did not disappoint, with the Chocolat and Gateaux Basque being the stars. Complementing all this was the amazing service that was warm and friendly!
Tasting menu was exquisite and service was impeccable
The food was great, the service was excellent, and the ambience was perfect. Had a wonderful time. We had the foie gras, duck, and lamb, as well as the souffle. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu.
Excellent food and the best service of any restaurant in Toronto. They were always there when you needed them and also very friendly but in a professional way.
Lovely experience, fabulous food and wonderful atmosphere
Nice place , food is good but a little bit high in price for the taste and portions...
Too pricey for the quality of food
Great food and service
Great ambiance. Good service. Food leaves a bit to be desired. The hamachi appetizer was sub par. Cod and duck were great.
Celebrated my parents 35th Anniversary. The staff at Auberge du Pommier went out of their way to make the night special. Thank you!
As per my usual experience at Auberge du Pommier, it's never failed to provide me and my guests a lovely and enjoyable time together. Cheers!
Yet again, wait staff were exceptional, food and wine choices spot on. Definitely a must visit, again and again.
Our dining experience was amazing. We chose the tasting menu and found every course to be excellent. Our server, Jeff, and all of the staff who brought our food and cleared were attentive without being obtrusive. Thank you to all of the staff for making this a very memorable dinner.
Overall we enjoyed the meal . My husband found the service a bit slow ; and the food was average: the lamb was over cooked . He felt that the wine should have been decanted .
Server was too busy and he did not attend much
We went for an anniversary dinner mid-week. We parked underground as it is free after 5PM. The stairs up to the restaurant we steep and a little slippery at the top. Once inside we were greeted warmly and shown to our reserved table. I am a larger person and found the table a little small for two persons, but it worked well. We chose the "Tasting Menu with wine pairings". Despite it being a fixed menu our server was very helpful in making a couple of adjustments to suit our tastes (swapped Tarter Steak for the Foie Gras for my partner, who also wanted all the wine pairing to be white). The service was superb all night. The plates were beautifully presented and the food tasty. However, while very good the food was not as perfect as the service and ambience. The dinner with wine pairing was $175 per person, plus tip and tax.
Wonderful experience as usual! Belated Valentine's Day dinner. Food and service were wonderful.
We enjoyed the tasting Menu with wine pairings.
Staff is very knowledgeable we were appreciative of their suggestions.Auberge du Pommier has a following of grateful customers.
Great restaurant with an authentic French feel to it. Service was top notch. Will come back every season to check out their seasonal menus
very expensive restaurant, recommend for couple the ambience is wonderful
Great service, food, and atmosphere. The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable with wine pairings. I will definitely go there again!
Food was really good, always good. The wine was very nice. Server was nice and food was delivered promptly. We always love the place. Never disappoint. Highly recommend the duck. Yum!😋
Restaurant is a very romantic decor, with a great matri D and wait staff. Value for money isnt really there, as there are other elite dinning experiences in Toronto for a more reasonable price. Presentation on food was exceptional, but flavor profiles on some of the dishes left something to be desired.
Food was average at best, maybe on Valentine’s Day they’re a little busier than typical, but if you aren’t going to try your best on that day I don’t see how you’ll win more business for the future.
Service was definitely sub par. Don’t judge diners just because they look young and you think they might not tip you well cause that’s exactly what cost your a majority of your tip.
Food and service is excellent. Decor let’s it down. It’s not bad but it’s showing it’s age especially the carpeting and tables. Loved the food
2nd year coming for Valentine’s Day dinner. Food and service is always exceptional. We plan to make it out Valentine’s Day tradition. We like the restaurant so much we are having our engagement party here if that gives you any idea of our thoughts on the restaurant.
We enjoyed the place very much. We did not expect much from a French restaurant in North America, but we were pleasantly surprised. It is not cheap, but for the exquisite French cousine, it is reasonably priced. We also enjoyed the recommendations of French-speaking wine expert for the Canadian wine. We did not even know that there wine making in Canada!
Expensive menu, but delicious food. Classic french cuisine, nothing crazy, but good food all the same.
It was very nice place to eat French.
Tasty is also good. Dessert is very nice.
If you want to eat great French foods I can recommend to you this place.
The attention to detail, exquisite food and execution made for a perfect late evening dinner. Staff were attentive and friendly, without being intrusive.
Disappointing service and our meals took foresee to come.
well... food could have been better, especially at these prices. bit disappointed to be honest.
