Two of us order the Halibut and were a bit disappointed - one piece was dry and the other was okay. My two other children who ordered the Lamb were both satisfied, but found there was really nothing extraordinary about it. For the price, I think we've had better food at other restaurants in the city. We tried the restaurant for my children's birthdays, as it is very highly rated. I'm afraid there may be other options out there that fit our taste and budget.
A lovely evening with my wife celebrating our anniversary! Food and service outstanding thank you!
Amazing food and terrific staff. We were celebrating our anniversary and Auberge du Pommier was the perfect restaurant to celebrate.
This restaurant is expensive but worth it for a special occasion. Hard to imagine what could be improved.
We have never been disappointed at Auberge du Pommier, Impeccable service and delicious food.
Great meal. Loved the scallops. Outstanding service and atmosphere.
Always great service. Can't complain with the exception service.
I've been to a lot of fine dining restaurants in Toronto and have never received as exceptional service as we did at Auberge du Pommier! The food we knew was going to be outstanding; but the overall attention, warmth and personal touches of the servers (our server was Andrew & he was fantastic) added to the whole experience.
Will definitely be back!
Joel is a Best sommelier in a world ! Food is delicious and artistry and service is outstanding. Try patio for exceptional experience.
Love this place! Had finished a meeting and dined alone - no issue. Staff and Sommelier a delight. The restaurant is expensive, but the food is very good! the vichysoisse is out of this world - creamy and tasty. Everything was excellent
just did not have room for dessert - a shame!
I have eaten at Auberge likely 6 or 7 times and last night’s experience did not meet the usual high standard of the restaurant. Our server went missing halfway through dinner somewhat awkwardly. Our 2 appetizers arrived lukewarm (foie and scallops). For a $28 dollar appetizer, we got one and a half scallops. No one asked us how the starters were. Our mains were somewhat better. The Poulet was delicious and the mushroom risotto was also good. Not sure it was $39 good. Cheese course and pavlova were tasty. Another server jumped in to attend to us but I have to say the service was spotty and not at all what we expect from an O and B establishment.
We have been there on several gatherings with friends. The place is Good as always
Beautiful place with a serene atmosphere, service was impeccable and the food was some of the best I've had. I would absolutely consider having my wedding here one day. 10/10 will return
Excellent place with great atmosphere. Went for summerlicious and would like to go back for a la carte menu.
I came for summerlicious as I have not tried this restaurant before. It was not too crowded which is nice given the promotion going on.
I ordered the rabbit, chicken and cheese plate for dessert. For a non alcoholic beverage I had the cherry juice which was delicious.
I sat inside, but the outdoor seating looked very nice.
I would recommend coming back as my server was amazing. She was friendly and helped me take a few pictures before departing.
I parked underground and got it stamped by the restaurant, so I did not need to pay.
Loved my experience at Auberge, the staff was so friendly and made the night memorable
Appettizer menu - ok, a bit disappointed with its pressed rabbit & apricot as it is a bit on the dry end which I did not expect.
Main course - beef tenderloin is juicy and perfect. Cornish chicken’s sauce is a bit too salty, otherwise not bad.
Dessert - Good. The ingredients in each dessert compliment each other, satisfy taste buds.
Excellent ambience and service.
The food was well portioned and plated. It was tasty as usual.
From entering the restaurant to ordering food, staff were professional and welcoming. It made our dinning experience even more memorable
Came with friends for summerlicious lunch. Great atmosphere from the moment we walked in to the moment we got out. Very good food and Service.
Second time here for summerlicious and still love it 😊
The food was an excellent choice. Very good service but I find your alcoholic beverages a little steep. Would have enjoyed sitting outside. Maybe next time.
I've heard many good things about this restaurant, but I was was not impressed. Perhaps my expectations were too high? For the price, there are better places in the city!
Our family was having a Summerlicious dinner there last week, and everything was going great until a fly flew onto my knife and made things seem pretty unfortunate. However, the server (his name was Deni but i believe his name may be spelled differently), insisted that this was not how the restaurant was run and decided to give me a glass of wine on the house! But it doesn't end there...
Shortly afterwards, ANOTHER FLY FLEW INTO MY WINE GLASS LOL. I wasn't upset (I don't really drink wine), but it was just funny and unfortunate that it would happen to me again! I felt bad telling Deni about the next incident just because I didn't want to inconvenience him. But, as I was egged on by my family to tell him what happened, he swiftly got me another glass of wine and everything was great again.
As we were about to ask for our bill, Deni came over and told us that dinner was on the house that night. This wasn't normal, and assured that they were "better than this". I was fascinated by not only getting an amazing and free meal, but also the extent to which Auberge du Pommier goes to make sure their guests are satisfied. I would DEFINITELY recommend coming to this place, for its ambience, friendly staff, and classy vibes make it a memorable experience. Shoutout to Deni, you a real one!!!
Always a special place for dinner with my love. It was the Summerlicious menu this time.
Went with a friend for Summerlicious 2018 dinner. Food was great, and service was even better. The price is absolutely worth it for the quality that you get.
Nice spot for casual summer lunch with special friends.
Simply wonderful meal and experience.
Went for summerlicious - had decent options considering the lower price - food and service was prefect
The flavours knocked our socks off. We attended during Summerlicious, which was a good deal. Otherwise, a little pricy but the food is excellent. Service was top-notch as well. Quiet and cozy setting.
Poor food quality and manor of service was not good. Food was not valuable and not even tasty.
We enjoyed the Summerlicious menu and found it to be quite nice. We were impressed by the apps and the dessert but a little disappointed in the main. We think it might have had to do with the Summerlicious event and that if we had ordered A La Carte it might have been more impressive.
I had the Salmon and my husband had the Cornish Hen Cordon Blu, both a little over done and lacked a "wow" factor. Loved the outstanding service and would definitely love to come back.
We were seated and then proceeded to wait 20 minutes until the server returned and took our order. When I made the comment "We thought you forgot about us" in a friendly tone she was visibly not happy with the comment and developed and attitude.
Entrees undercooked to our taste but graciously amended by excellent staff and service. Otherwise, an outstanding dining experience.
Great foods & great services. Very peaceful environment. Highly recommended. Will go again
Incredible service, delicious food, great and accommodating with my nut allergy.
Went for summerlicious, lunch with the girlfriend. It was totally worth it.
Our chicken supreme and our steak were...chicken and a steak. The appetizers and deserts stole the show. Boar crockets had a full flavour, salad had some kind of unexpected pickled ingredint (pear?). Panna cotta was a typical execution but perfect. My parfait was light and refreshing. But of everything I’d say the potato salad was the best. Light, fluffy, tangy, but also somehow rich. Perfect with the flat iron.
Go to auberge for great execution of classic dishes, with a few unexpected touches.
Always great atmosphere, amazing service, delicious and creative food. We love this gem the most from all the French restaurants and keep coming back for special occasions.
It was very enjoyable out in the patio. Amazing service and delicious food
Delicious food with serene ambiance. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
