    This place is perfect for celebrations! We received a gift card from work as recognition for a great project, and we loved coming here! Service is outstanding. The food is top notch. They even gave a celebration card/ dessert. Loved the change from our regular restaurants that we usually visit. It's much more "classy". Highly recommend.

    Unfortunately, I must provide a mixed review based on our June 24, 2025 dinner dining experience. The service was excellent, but we were surprised by the inconsistent food quality. The bread and appetizers were delicious and provided a strong start to the meal. The real disappointment was felt by those who ordered the salmon entree. The presentation of the salmon was beyond bland… it was literally a naked piece of salmon on the plate… pale in colour as if it had been boiled (I’m sure it wasn’t boiled but this is the best way I can describe its unappealing appearance)… and its blandness was in stark contrast to the nicely presented celeriac remoulade set beside it on the plate. Even a simple sprig of dill would have enhanced the appeal. The salmon entree’s lacklustre appearance was surely beneath the restaurant’s standards.

    Auberge du Pommier continues to shine. The food was delicious and the service impeccable as always. We were a group of eight celebrating a family birthday and they seated us on the patio in a reasonably secluded spot. Everyone could communicate with everyone else and there were no distractions from other tables. Everyone in our group had a wonderful evening.

    The duck confit was too dry and the bread is over baked. A bit burnt at the top.

    Perfect for this type of celebration. Michael our waiter was excellent, and the food, service and ambiance better than expected. Thank you, we will return.

    Impeccable service and attention to detail. The food was classic French but small portions and the main course accompaniments were not great.

    I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant yesterday. I had made a reservation and clearly noted that it was for a birthday celebration. To my surprise, the table next to us received a birthday dessert and warm wishes from the staff — we got absolutely nothing. I even brought a birthday cake and mentioned we’d like to take a photo with it, but the staff never brought it to the table. Throughout the entire meal, no one checked in on us, asked if the food was okay, or offered any sort of attentive service. It honestly felt like we were completely ignored. At the end, they charged me an automatic 18% gratuity — over $50. The only reason I didn't protest was because it was a birthday and I didn't want to make a scene. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have left a cent. Extremely disappointing and definitely not the kind of experience you expect when celebrating something special.
