It was our first time at Auberge du Pommier and we had the most amazing experience for our 2-year anniversary. We tried the tasting menu with wine pairings and that 8-course dinner left both of us very full! Our all-star favorites were the homard and boeuf dishes. Moreover, the service was OUTSTANDING. We will definitely come back to celebrate other occasions and we would recommend Auberge du Pommier to everyone who wish to treat themselves and have a great time.
Outstanding food and service - we did menu dégustation with wine parings. Absolutely fantastic everything was executed to perfection.
We loved the food, ambience and attentive staff. How er we were interrupted many times by the servers which was very uncomfortable bordering on disrespectful.
Please change the seats on the chairs as they are old and you sink low in them which makes it difficult to eat and enjoy. Thank you.
Lunch for a supplier that performed above expectations was delivered by the Auberge above expectations! I was shocked when my guest mentioned they were vegan. The server quickly suggested three options not on the menu. I was impressed.. my guest thought the risotto was excellent as was my trout. My surprise was the salad appetizer made with spring greens and walnuts, blueberries and raspberries it was a very large serving, easily shareable and very tasty (I did not share).
Service was excellent with the right amount of attention and privacy.
We sat comfortably inside but their patio looked lovely with lots of heaters. My only complaint was the servers kept leaving the door open and we did not have heaters!
Dinner for three with two glasses of wine and no
Desert was $250. Tax and tip included.
First time out since covid started and this is my favourite restaurant. They did not fail. Out for a birthday, the staff went out of their way to be attentive, food was excellent, and when my original order for a cake was missed, the staff did everything possible to give us a birthday celebration. In all, it was wonderful and memorable.
We had a great time, the service and the food were outstanding. Our alleginace is with you now, it was Scaramouche now it is the Auberge.
Excellent all round experience. Chad our waiter was outstanding, providing great recommendations, kept things moving at an appropriate pace and was friendly and talkative without being over bearing. Classic French menu that was delicious; highlight was the venison closely followed by the lobster. Perfect spot for our anniversary.
Food was amazing! We had the homard (lobster bisque) very impressive. We enjoyed all the three courses!
Excellent care for some food allergies.
my second time here but this time for lunch and I managed to sit outdoors
What a gorgeous spot. The staff were incredible. The food was as amazing as the first time.
I'll have to come back for dessert
If you have a business meeting or even a romantic date that is the spot to be
First off, they are meticulous about enforcing covid rules and having prevention protocols in place. The tables are very spaced out. We felt very comfortable eating at the restaurant. The sommelier, Anna, provided an outstanding wine recommendation that perfectly matched our food. Plus we had several informative discussions about wine with her throughout the meal. A big thumbs up to her skills and friendliness. Starters were the blue mackerel and an array of flavours. Mains were monkfish and lobster bisque. Both were delightful. Rick array of flavours. Desert was the baked Ontario brie topped with a warmed mix. Oh, so decadent and delicious. Highly recommended to finish the meal. Service was top notch through the meal.
Server was very attentive. Atmosphere is romantic, table are spaced far enough that you can’t join the conversation at the next table. Food was amazing with plenty of pleasant surprise.
This place has my whole heart (which is through my stomach and taste buds).
My fiancé and I went and it was the best burrata ball I’ve ever had. The fusion of flavours is like a happy explosion of palate seducing fireworks. On the ride there my fiancé asked what our best dining experience together was, to which I said I wasn’t sure. That first bite of the amuse bouche was enough to convince me my answer to that question was “Auberge”. The sophistication of flavours combined exceeded all expectations I had. Our server, Jeff, was courteous to the letter. We informed him that we don’t eat pork and upon ordering dessert he informed us that some byproducts in the specific one we wanted were gelatinous. As that didn’t even cross our minds when we were ordering, we were extremely grateful at how considerate he was of that. Anyways, I’ve rambled enough. I can’t wait to come back, we’ve found our date night spot. Thank you!
One of our favourite restaurants in Toronto. Always impeccable service and fantastic food.
We had lunch, and were blown away by the high quality of service and food. An unforgettable experience, and we look forward to returning for dinner.
Andrew, our waiter, is attentive, cheerful and cordial with a professional touch and warm. Excellent attitude.
A fine dining escape that suits a casual lunch with friends or a special dinner out with a loved one. Service, food, wine, and ambience all impeccable. Worth the visit!
Lovely special occasion restaurant. Food, wine, and service are all excellent!
We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect place to celebrate.
All was good, but having alerted my reservation and waitress that we were celebrating my friend’s birthday I expected something. Like a candle or happy bday treat from the kitchen, or at least happy bday on the dessert I ordered. $200 for lunch is not insignificant. You would have gotten 5 stars if you made the effort. That’s what next level service is all about.
Terrible experience right at the door ...we spent 15 minutes per couple just to deal with COVID restaurant own forms that you have to download , fill up etc . We arrived at 8 and get drinks and bread 9:15 after my friends started complain and asking for manager (restaurant was only 40% occupied). We had group of 8 people and all was frustrated. This place used to be phenomenal years ago but no anymore :(
Barring the complete mood change caused by the bright light that would splash my face every time the kitchen door opens, everything else was great. I wish they do something about the seating, or maybe just get rid of that specific table
This is an excellent place for special occasion dining
Have been here many times over the years for lunches and dinners. They never disappoint either in the quality of the food or the level of service! Glad to have them back!!
Always a pleasure dining here .....outstanding quality in everything .
Foods was great but would prefer if tables were socially distance as it appear only part of the restaurant was opened for service
Food was always good in the past but this time … Appetizers and desserts were excellent. My entree was too much salt. Service was excellent
Celebrated a 50th birthday and Auberge is her favourite restaurant. It was outstanding. The food and the service!
As usual, the food and service were superb! Auberge never disappoints. It's an oasis in the city.
Great service. Lovely atmosphere on the patio. It was a bit chilly so we asked if the gas heater next to us could be fired up but it couldn’t. It seems a number of heaters were out of propane. We had a lovely day.
It was a memorable evening. The service was very special. Everyone made us feel comfortable and welcome at this unusual time. I was told that the employees were all double vaccinated so that made our party feel safe. The patio was covered and heated so there was no chill in the air. The food was excellent and beautifully plated. They even provided a special plate of petit fours for the couple who were celebrating.
As always an amazing dining experience, this is our favourite French restaurant in Toronto.
The food is wonderful! Would absolutely come back.
Went there with my girlfriend last evening. We do enjoy the environment and friendly services. And we do love all the appetizers(Escargots, Foie Gras and Tartare) we had. But both steaks we ordered(Forgot the names of those dishes) are really salted, I did tell our waiter and he did offer us re-cooked, but I am already disappointed by the dishes and don't want to waste time and get disappointed again.
So I have refused his offer. But overall, I like the place and services, and love all the appetizers we had.
Celebrated our 25th Anniversary with immediate family - service, food, wine and ambiance made for a great celebration!
Lovely food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere
It was a very good dining experience for my wife and me. The staff was very warm and responsive. The food on the tasting menu was delicious as well as visually enticing.
Food was ok - did not meat expectations. Duck was not medium rare and no crispy skin
