   We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and overall, it was a really lovely night. The atmosphere was elegant but not stuffy, and the service was warm and attentive—just what we were hoping for on a special occasion. Food-wise, the foie gras and beef tartare were absolute standouts. Rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented—those two dishes alone made the night. The chateaubriand was fine, but honestly didn’t wow us the way the starters did. Good, but not particularly memorable. Dessert totally stole the show though. The soufflé was incredible—light, fluffy, and just sweet enough. Easily one of the best we’ve had. All in all, a great spot for a celebratory dinner. We’d definitely come back, especially for the appetizers and that unforgettable soufflé.

   Years not been to this old restaurant, nearly forgot how it is? Today went to their Mother’s Day lunch! Excellent service but the food was awful! Airline food is better! Extra lobster on one of the courses for $30 and all you get is some lobster bits that you need to search for! Extra truffles for $30 ! The truffles don’t give out truffle aroma smell. Two person with just 1 glass of white wine as nd you ended up a bill of over $600! More expensive than scaramouch and all these other delicious restaurants! Not recommended

   Had not been in years - restaurant still has a lovely, refined ambiance with the best feature being the very well-spaced tables. Service was very good - as expected for a restaurant of this calibre. Now to the food... I wish my lunch guest and I had been up for the 3-course prix fixe because I'm sure that would have represented far better value as is usually the case. We began with mocktails - my guest accepted the waiter's recommendation for the Yuzu 75 - she pronounced it delicious. I chose the Esprit Libre because it mentioned both raspberry and passionfruit - two of my favourites, neither of which was particularly discernible except for the vibrant red colour. Note to self: Listen to the waiter! We both had the salmon filet, which was on the small side and ever so slightly overcooked. The size would have been fine for lunch, but the accompanying tiny scoop of shredded celeriac topped with an even tinier arrangement of finely sliced green vegetable (I believe it was supposed to be asparagus) really was rather too precious for the $40 price tag. For this price point, you really do need a little more food on the plate (didn't cuisine minceur come and go in the '80s?) And while these vegetables were artfully arranged, they were also unforgivably salty (like no celeriac remoulade I have ever eaten). Again, I would not be so critical but this is a restaurant from which you expect better. Couldn't fault the Gâteau St Honoré tart though - it was delicious!

   Dined with them for their monthly afternoon tea service in May. While the ambience was lovely, food was delicious and service attentive, the value wasn't quite there for us. The food portion sizes were small compared to other similarly priced afternoon tea services at other local establishments. We left the restaurant with more to be desired.

   Awesome experience. Their service is top notch and staff is very friendly. Food is delicious. It's a high $ fine dining, so i save it for special occasions but never disappointed.

   Our evening was wonderful. Our waiter Andrew was terrific. He was very professional and pleasant. We would definitely recommend Auberge to our friends.

   Shrimp & crab appetizer big disappointment: the actual portion of shrimp & crab was minuscule and flavour crowded out by unsuitable garnishment. The duck was OK but could have done without the so-called waffles and needed a green vegetable. The steak frites was excellent once a fresh order of frites was produced. The service and wine were excellent. The chef seems to be trying to come up with new twists on traditional French cuisine but with limited success
