   It was just ok. Small menu, understaffed and no bartender. Menu items definitely not what they were years ago.

   Our server was slow and un helpful.. nothing was available that we wanted to order because of a kitchen issue.. and he said the bar was closed..yet others were being served mimosas? He seemed like he couldn’t be bothered.. 100 dollars later, we left still hungry.

   Went for brunch and the food was good, but the service was subpar. Our waiter (not sure of his name - don’t think he even said it) seemed nice enough but barely spoke two words, took our order then proceeded to disappear for the rest of the time we were there. We had to flag down another waiter, who told us that ours was on break and he was covering, and then we barely saw him again. My mother wanted salt and pepper for her meal, but by the time we saw someone again, she’d finished. Not the best experience. It may have been down to it being a hectic morning, but now I’m hesitant to go back.

   Average dining experience but service lacked for my time here. My dish came out wrong, I ordered a Cuban with fries but a side salad was brought instead. Then toward the end of service the waiter started to prepare our table for the morning while we were still seated! I understand if the restaurant was closed but there was still 30 minutes until the closing time of 10PM. Absolutely unbelievably bad ending experience with that.

   My friend and I agreed that it used to be cozier. It feels very much like a hotel all-purpose restaurant because it is. However it is bright, clean, and well located. Simple menu but that's good -- not too much to mess up on. Good for pre-show bite. Would definitely recommend for a simple weeknight get together after work.

    The potatoes for brunch were as loaded as the drinks made me. Whoever invented the bacon waffle should be up for a Nobel prize.

    This was my first time for lunch. A dinner I had enjoyed, this not so much. I had the fish tacos, they were very sub-par. Mushy tacos, filling bland and lukewarm, as if they had been sitting out awhile.

    I met my sister-in-law for dinner when she was visiting Chicago and what a perfect spot for a quick visit. Drinks and food were delicious! Modern, clean, design with lots of windows to view the Marshall Fields Building and the State St. buzz, and just blocks from the iconic Chicago Theater. Great restaurant all the way around, would highly recommend!

    The food and the atmosphere were good. However our server was terrible. She was very inattentive. She never came back to the table to ask how things were, refill water, etc.

    We had a few appetizers between the three of us. All were good, although the charcuterie board was not great value for the money (but are they ever?!) As the place filled up, it got pretty loud.

    We visited Atwood for lunch. The menu felt somewhat limited in options so be sure to check before you go to be sure there is something that appeals to you. I had a chop chop salad which was very good, and my companion opted for the street tacos appetizer plus pretzel bites. These all tasted great (we shared). Service was okay but not great. They served water right away (yeah!) but it was room temperature which was disappointing. It's a convenient location in the notable Reliance building.

    Menu is limited but nice. Service was extremely slow, we spent an extra hour there as a result. Food was decent but nothing to rave about. I have been to the Atwood many times & this time was a disappointment.

    A great place to eat conveniently close to theatres. Simple food choices, but very good. We especially liked the pineapple teriyaki wings and the Naked Experience drink with the brown sugar bourbon and pineapple juice. We were happy with our choice to eat here.

    Great tasting food, and good service when it finally happened. Like many establishments, they are experiencing a staff shortage. It took a few minutes to get service. Andre’ the manager/supervisor made his way to our table, apologized and took care of our table for two. He was great. He was wearing multiple hats— behind the bar, bussing tables and taking orders. Once the order went in, we didn’t wait long for the food. Hopefully, they will get the staffing issue resolved.

    I live in the loop and had never gotten a chance to try Atwood. Went for a Saturday morning brunch/lunch. Got the honey butter chicken biscuit and it was fabulous!

    It was my daughter's 31st birthday breakfast, I Reserved a table online and upon entering the Service was Exceptional. The view from the table was Breath Taking and the food was Great!

    The service at Atwood was excellent. Our waiter was especially good. He not only answered our 2 questions about our selections, but he checked on our table several times, making sure we were enjoying our dinner. We got our check in a timely fashion. Atwood restaurant is also very conveniently located in the heart of downtown Chicago, which is a definite asset.

    Great place before a broadway play. Had a really lovely meal with the harvest salad and the salmon special, both pretty amazing. Service was a bit slow, but very nice.

    Good location in the theater district. Food and service were underwhelming. My sister's salad was dressing heavy so that was all you could taste. Pork sliders were meh, nothing to get excited about.
