I lunched here with girlfriends. The food was very good and the service was great.
As usual, the food was good, the service was attentive but not intrusive, and the noise level was acceptable.
Authentic French bistro food with a Provençal flair.
True French cuisine in an equally authentic atmosphere. Having been to France a number of times for work, this is as good as it gets here in the States. Speak French if you like, take your time with dinner, and enjoy a Calvados while you're there. My wife and I will definitely be back, and soon. I highly recommend it!
Great food and value. Very good quality and wonderful service. The fish is out of this world.
Great brunch. The eggs were light, airy. They made a vegetarian friendly puff pastry for me. Great experience and definitely try the dessert sampler.
Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding! We live in our the neighborhood and will now be regulars.
This was the first time that my friend and I dined there after passing it many times. It was a wonderful surprise. We started with escargot, which we shared. The seasoning was delicate and delicious. My friend ordered braised lamb with vegetables, which was succulent. I ordered coq au vin. It was outstanding. We shared dessert - profiteroles. That also was excellent. The charm of the restaurant is the small dining rooms, making it very intimate. Our server is fairly new to the restaurant but you'd never know it. He was well versed on the menu and provided good service without being overbearing. We met the owners, husband and wife from southern France. They were very welcoming and gracious.
I highly recommend Atmosphere.
This was our 2nd visit and we loved it! Great wine, french fries, and trout! The scallops were very good as well. Nice atmosphere.
We didn’t have a good experience. The food was mediocre at best and took much too long and when it finally arrived my veal chop was way over cooked. I sent it back immediately. So I didn’t eat it. My wife had the scallops and ravioli. This was tasteless. I heard good things but it wasn’t for me. I don’t like to be too critical but I would never go back.
Several years after moving away from ATL, sI returned and Atmosphere was my first choice. Thr Bistro is charming, embracing, and soothing. Small rooms in a former house make for an a lovely intimacy. Service is warm, gracious, and exercised at an appropriate level. The kitchen is the star though with great escargot, coq au vin, foie de veau, coquille st jacques, and other Bistro staples. The wine list is reasonable.
The owners and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their patrons' dining experience.
Our waiter, Victor, was wonderful, helpful and attentive.
The roquefort salad had way too much endive and not nearly enough apple for the correct balance.
I loved the french fires that accompanied my moules. They were perfect. Some of the mussels I encountered were cold and while the flavor was very nice, stumbling across a random cold mussel dimmed my enthusiasm for the dish.
I have to say I was disappointed that the bartender could not mix a Dark and Stormy for lack of ginger beer. I think it would have been easy enough to get that ingredient from either of the 2 bars next door, or at the liquor store a block away.
I'll definitely be back. It's a terrific neighborhood spot that transports you to another time.
Our food and service was phenomenal! And the ambiance was really romantic. We enjoyed ourselves!
This was our second great meal here in a month or so. This time it was just the two of us, and the quiet atmosphere (!) and great food and wine made for a perfect dinner after the movies. Beet salad with boursin was a great starter. My wife likes the escargot here, but found them a bit garlicky this time (but I bet she'll order them again). She also had the Cobia (fish) which was very good. She would have done less of the artichoke/heart-of-palm, but enjoyed the flavor of it all. My tenderloin filet was perfect - temperature, flavor, crust. Tender enough for a standard knife. A great meal all around.
The ambiance in the back room was quiet and intimate. The duck breast special was incredible!
Great first visit. We will be back. Try the pan seared trout with vegetables with an endive salad.
Another excellent dining experience, superb food and very attentive service
Total experience was great! The restaurant was very cozy, the service was top notch and the food was excellent...
Great neighborhood restaurant. Not your sports bar but an elegant evening out with excellent food. They do tastings that are well worth the price and they draw people from all over town because of reputation and a good stopping place for many between office and home.
I go often for the wine tasting. Great ambiance, wine list, amazing food, and consistently good service.
we love this place. Not at All loud so you can enjoy the conversation as well as dinner. Wine list is not extensive but will easily satisfy most everyone. French food served just right. We love the menu but my favorite is the duck confit. My wife would say the trout amandine. We always share the endives salad. Do not skip dessert.
Wonderful French restaurant! Great food, wine, and service! Very impressed! A find! Will be back!!!
Lovely Saturday evening with friends from Italy. Food got rave revues from all. We were seated at reserved time. Smaller room allowed for intimacy and conversation. Our server Chana was an engaging professional young woman who explained every question asked. She presented birthday guest a candled Creve brûlée that was unexpected and appreciated. This is a restaurant the truly desires title “neighborhood gem”.
Wonderful space! Great food!!
This small Ansly cottage from the outside surprises once you enter. Everything was amazing. Great service. Great food. Great wine list.
I went here for V-day, it was a fixed menu and not that great. Ended up spending $220 dollars. I was stuck in a room with no windows and the sound just bounced around the room. There was no privacy for my conversation. I will never go back, it was supposed to be romantic instead it was an uncomfortable, hot, okay food, experience. Our waiter was nice though.
Would never come in for valentines. Worse greeting, seating, service. Waitress arguing to each other not wanting to take our table bc it was 930pm. Literally sat there for 10 min until being greeted. When greeted, wasn’t friendly at all. Will not recommend this place to anyone
Exellent exellent exellent exellent exellent excellent
I’m someone that never leaves reviews but had such a poor experience that felt I should - my husband and I went to atmosphere for a date night and I was super excited to try this romantic restaurant. From start to finish, the food was subpar. The goat cheese salad was just lettuce with a giant clumpy ball of brie wrapped with cold undercooked bacon. The mockfish seafood medley was lackluster in taste and my husbands steak was so salty he couldn’t even eat it. Lastly, our creme brûlée came out and it was ice cold...it’s bad when the best part of the meal is the wine. And all of this for $225! We will sadly not be going back to what seemed like such a nice neighborhood gem. Very disappointed.
Very nice valentines dinner .. service was very good and good delicious. Especially for such a busy holiday.
We were on our Valentine date, and it was a very romantic place. Valet was quick and easy. We had a nice table near the front window. The menu was a special three course meal, and we adored the butternut squash soup and our desserts of creme brûlée and sherbet in vodka, but our seafood entree was very bland. The monkfish was flavorless, even though the shrimp, mussels, and clams were cooked perfectly.
I had been here for lunch a few times, and this was my first disappointment ever, so I will return!!!
Our wine from New Zealand was superb.
The food was not that great and the steak with pepper sauce was an embarassment. The service poor and the set menu for such a special occasion was not a great idea. OVERALL, We Were DISAPPOINTED. NOT SUCH A FRENCH RESTAURANT
Fixed menu on Valentine’s Day
Food was not good and poor choices
I’ve always liked it in the past
Great place and yummy desserts. I really like this place. Will go again soon.
My husband and I were celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary and, as always, thought of Atmosphere. Everything was amazing. Our server, Ben, was great as usual and the food was delicious. The only problem was deciding which food to order since it is all so good.
Excellent! Server was very pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. Great service! Tres magnifique!
You will always find me here on a Saturday night. I have to admit I read some of the recent 1 and 2 star ratings and have to wonder if they are from a competitor posing as a guest as I disagree with the findings. Chef Adam always amazes me with his meals. Never been disappointed. Hosts Christine and Jean Marc have to be proud of this establishment. Go for the food and make your own decisions! That being said; I must admit that the service was not as one would expect. Our server was not attentive. The table overlooked that (all made same remarks) as our meals made up for the service. Wine list is being updated and that is a bonus. Special shout out to Andrew who is a great bartender!
We totally enjoyed our evening at Atmosphere! Not only was the food excellent, the ambience was terrific. We shared a quiet corner table with another couple, allowing us to converse while enjoying a delectable, unhurried meal. Kudos to the chef and the staff for making our evening memorable for us and our guests. We will definitely be back!
My experience with Atmosphere was great. Easy reservations via OpenTable, exceptional service, quiet and cozy ambiance, and delectable entrees and desserts. Portions are smaller than your typical American fare, but absolutely worth a try.
